I’ve been a customer of B & M for many years! They opened up their store shortly after we moved to Scarsdale over twenty years ago. They have a dedicated staff who have worked there for many years and devoted customers who will patiently wait on line for their delicious bagels, sandwiches and desserts. They are also now carrying a great assortment of masks!

Been my staple bagel place since its close to home. Always fresh always delicious. Everything, pumpernickel, jalapeño bagels are the best

I’ve been going here for a long time and once the staff got switched around the service is the worst. I ordered a BEC with SPK and seems like I paid about $6 for a roll with ketchup.

The WORST staff, rude, unhelpful generally nasty! Act like they’re doing you a favor all the time!!! Such a shame because their bagels are pretty goodAlso no clue how to wear a mask - thinkIt’s some kind of fashion accessory or maybe a scarf. Go somewhere local that appreciates you

Everytime I come in here, its a different price depending on who is ringing you up. Last time, I had 2 items but the employee rang up 3 things which would make me pay an extra $2.50. While I was staring at the machine, he was smart enough to correct his mistake and clear it before I could mention it. Its enough that I even have this feeling as a customer which turns me away from this place. After going in again today and ordering 1 item, they finally proved my hesitation and it being a different price than last time, Im done with them forever. By the way, there are way better breakfast sandwhiches around. ( Update: The Long Island Bagel Cafe at 365 Central Ave - only 5 min away driving from this place - makes amazing breakfast and has double the amount of options. They also put 2 eggs in your sandwhiches, not one.) Best one around town.Oh and just like everyone else says, the STAFF IS RUDE! They give facial expressions all the time. Im the one paying for a product, I should be annoyed with your lousy service, not the other way around. The owner needs to catch a clue as to how his staff behaves.

Comfortable spot for decent bagels and reliably delicious spreads. Not the best bagels in the area, but very consistent, fast-moving staff, and conveniently located next to Hartsdale Metro North stop.

I’ve been going there for years. I do like their bagels. Service can be mixed - some are great while others aren’t too welcoming but overall I’ve found more on the positive side for customer service.

I went in to bagels and more for a bagel. It took the person behind the counter a good five minutes before he acknowledged me despite the place being nearly empty. In addition, the employee was prepping food with his mask below his nose which greatly concerns me. The only reason I didn’t give it one star is it does have a wide selection ruin if bagels and snacks.

Bagels and more tends to evoke strong feelings. Some people, like myself, love them for their delicious BECs and other sandwiches. Other find their prices utterly ridiculous.The foods good and well worth it. Parking in the back is the best option if you bring quarters for the meters. It gets really busy during lunch thanks to the local high school

RUDE HORRIBLE and NASTY. If your a woman with children don’t even bother. The guys behind the counter are Slow, always get the order wrong, no customer service, overpriced, terrible very rude. They don’t even fix their errors and try to make it seem like your fault! The worst customer service I have ever experienced. No thank you, no thanks for the business during these hard times....nothing! You don’t deserve the business and you most definitely lost mine and I’ll make sure to spread the word around my local neighborhood.

It is a popular place for locals. Groups of neighborhood folks can be seen meeting there for various reasons. The bagels are made on site and they are good. The food is good. It is a comfortable place.

This place really is my favorite local bagel shop. The qualities of the bagels and the spreads are second to none. Im a regular and when the staff sees me they go straight to my standard order. I love this place.

They have many flavors of bagels and cream cheese, they are all fantastic! Also, the staffs here are very friendly and kind. Definitely recommend!!!

Horrible and nasty customer service. I got an attitude from the guy behind the counter because i added another bagel to my order after he already made one.

The bagels and cream cheese at bagels and more are amazing. It’s probably why I keep going back, but the service there has gotten so horrible in the past few months. The guys behind the counter are so rude and aggressive. They ask you for your order and then walk away before your even finished telling them what you want. This was the fourth time I had to go back and tell them that they got my order wrong and they just walked away from the counter. Management really needs to have a retraining with them because I’ve noticed that people have stopped coming in

My local bagel store, thankfully there bagels are great. The staff could be friendlier I wish the owner was a little more attentive to this.There is a Dunkin Donuts opening up opposite them hopefully theyll realize theyre not the only show in town and put a little extra effort in.

I have been coming to this bagel shop for years. It is a great go to place in the village of Hartsdale. Bagels are fresh and delicious always. Good coffee. Nice food selection. Plenty of snacks. Outdoor seating. Parking is an issue. I suggest eating any sandwich on a bagel. Food is worth trying. Bring the kids too.

Maybe it’s cuz I grew up here but I think these bagels are possibly the best in the world. If you come at the right time you can get a nice hot bagel. Bagels are always soft and the dough is always sweet. Cream cheese is top notch. Everything else in the store besides bagels and egg sandwiches are garbage though so stay away from everything else. Service is gruff but consistently my favorite bagel shop. Not sure why reviews are so bad...

Bagels are average as NY bagels go, but its the service that really kills the place. The people that work at this store will shake their heads at you. They have a culture there where its ok for the workers to be openly annoyed with their customers. You want exceptional bagels (counter service only, though), go to the Scarsdale Bagels shop on Garth road. 4.7 rating over there.

I walk in and when I walk up to the register and say good morning to the person at the register. He responds by giving me an impatient annoyed hand gesture like okay just order already.Then when I start to order he puts up his finger Jester to me to be quiet as he tries to listen to what his colleague is trying to say to another colleague. After about 15 seconds of waiting he gives me another hand gesture as if now youre allowed to order. At this point I tell him you know what nevermind Ill prefer to take my business somewhere else, and he gives me a huge smile and are sarcastic hand wave as if to say see you later we dont need your business.This establishment needs to hire much better people who are more mature and not so miserable at their job

Bagels are great, service is lousy.The people who work here dont even say thank you, they dont even crack a smile. The line is usually very long but if you are female and speak Spanish, they let you cut ahead.Side note 8/21/17 this place has been closed for well over a month. Brown paper covers the windows. I have a feeling that theres going to be a new owner. Hopefully the new owner will hire people that have better customer service skills in the old crew.

Great bagels, lox, cream cheese. Not cheap. staff is fine. I can understand why some people say they are unfriendly but FYI the people around here are pretty high maintenance.

Two starts for the customer service. If you have not made your mind they give you attitude or pretended they dont hear you or speak over you with their compatriots to make you feel inferior. Its the only bagel in town and they feel they are entitled to do as they wish.

Ive lived in Hartsdale for the last few years. Every time I come into this place im reminded why I travel an extra 10 mins to go somewhere else. The service - Absolutely terrible. The staffs attitude is awful and make you feel like youre bothering them when you ask for a sandwich. The Food - Sub par. In fact I think it has gotten worse in the last 2 years. Egg sandwiches are probably the worst ive ever had. If you are in a pinch to get some breakfast in Hartsdale, just go to the bakery next door.

It is almost as they are doing YOU a favor by servicing you. No, hi, good morning, thank you. They never prepare my bagel as asked. It looks like some of the food has been in the case for ages and its filthy.
