The doctor is great obviously, and so is the doctor I see before the main one. This review is honestly for Lynn, who is the one who helps pick out what lenses are the best option for you, and what pair of frames to get! She was so incredibly helpful, and bared with me while I tried on a million different frames. She then helped me decide on which one was the best! She then made sure I got enough protection for my astigmatism, which is just awful driving at night. She’s also super sweet, and fun to chit chat with. Lynn was also the one who helped me last year find my forever frames when I broke my glasses! She couldn’t find the frames on the website but made sure to call the company to see if they still had them (since the frames are from 2016). They did! She ordered them for me and called me as soon as they came in!! I wanted the same frame (aside from the more “professional” ones she was ordering for me) with my updated script, for me to have when I’m not at work. She’s calling the other company again to see if they still have the frames! All to make sure that when I send my current ride or die frames in, IF they get broken some how during lens swap process, that I have the same frame on back up! She is seriously a delight and honestly makes the whole experience more personal! 5+ stars for Lynn!

I am going on a year long international program and need to get a new order of contact lenses. I have repeatedly sent in requests for them to confirm my prescription but it seems like they are completely ignoring me. Now, I have to find a last-minute appointment somewhere in Boston, and am very worried because I am unable to function without lenses. Maybe they want me to order through them only, which seems pretty greedy to me. Beware of Lake Country Eye Care if you travel frequently or need to order contacts through somewhere else.

Great experience. Everyone was kind and friendly, doctor was patient and explained everything clearly. I am very happy!

Dr. Dentz is extremely accommodating and truly cares about her patients. Even when its an inconvenience to her, she will do her best to help.

I went in with 2 pairs of Maui Jim sunglass, both with lenses that were popped out and the frames bent. They popped them both back in, straightened out the frames and even polished them for me...all at no charge! Amazing! Will definitely give them future business when Im in the market again to buy.

Needed a second opinion for my daughter after she was told shed need to return for further testing because the special test she paid for wasnt definitive enough. I had been left worried that my child would need eye surgery. Dr. Dentz did a very thorough eye exam. She was able to see everything on the optomap that the other place mustve failed to do correctly. I was put at ease with her diagnosis and recommendation. I look forward to scheduling my own appointment with this doctor soon. Thank you Dr. Dentz!

I recently brought my ten year old son to Lake Country Eye Care for his first eye exam. Dr. Dentz was incredibly kind and patient with him and took the time to ask him questions about himself and make him feel comfortable. As it turned out, my son did need glasses and we had an equally pleasant experience with the opticians in the building. Less than a week and a half later, my son had his awesome new glasses and is able to see the world much more clearly! I highly recommend Lake Country Eye care!

Our family loves Lake Country Eye Care! They are prompt with their appt. times, friendly, and very patient with my boys. Weve been going here since we moved to the area for 3 years ago and have always had a wonderful experience! Sometimes insurance can be snarky, but they always work to get it all resolved for us.

I have only only good experiences here. Tried them last year because they have office hours on Saturdays and are very close to my home. Was impressed with the staff and the technology being used. Needed a pair glasses of fixed, original store said they could not be repaired and would need to be replaced. Stopped by LCEC and a friendly lady told me she could order the $25 part and fix the frame for me, which she did. Saved me hundreds.Just went back for my annual checkup and found the staff to again be very friendly and helpful, taking the time I needed. Having seen both doctors at this office now, I think they are both friendly, knowledgeable and well connected with other vision specialists. I would recommend this office without any reservations.

Shame on me. I did not check the price of my eye exam prior to making appointment. I have $225 a year to spend on exam and contacts. After the typical exam for $50 I can buy 6 months of contacts.After my exam at Lake Country and them having no idea what my bill is so I can decide how many contacts to order I leave buying nothing waiting for a call. The next day they call and say my exam is over $250. Wow welcome to lake county. I will never go back or bring my family. I will go back to Waukesha at Vision Works get better service and save $200.This place is highway robbery.

Felt very very comfortable with DR Dentz . Everybody at this clinic was professional knowledgeable and caring ! Dr Dentz explained all my eye care options and gave me some free sample contacts to try out before making a big purchase. I highly recommend this place

I decided to go outside of my provider network because no one seemed to be able to get my reading vision correct, and I was tired of wearing contacts AND cheaters even though I have been an advocate of monovision for years. Dr. Dentz was wonderful and incredibly knowledgeable. I am happy to report that I can see perfectly far and near without the use of reading glasses!. They even worked with my insurance to cover most of the cost even though I was out of network.

Nothing but great things to say about Dr. Dentz and her staff. Professional, competent staff and nice selection of frames.

I have always had a wonderful and personable experience at Lake Country Eye Care. Dr. Dentz makes you feel like family.

We have been going to Dr. Dentz since she was at the old place across town. My daughter has been wearing glasses since second grade and switched to contacts a year ago. She had a problem with one of them (her prescription changed in 3 months), we got in right away and all was taken care of.

If you already have a prescription or just need to update an existing one, and just need to pick out glasses, youll probably be fine. If you are seeking glasses for the first time or are experiencing a new and frustrating vision issue where you will need genuine thoroughness, patience, care, knowledge and skill at troubleshooting vision issues, I cannot recommend this clinic. I dropped over $700 for glasses that I cannot even wear (and yes, I agree with other posts, they are probably more expensive here than some other places, and shame on me for ignoring the reviews and trying to stay local). Like another post also, I was made to feel that I was bothering them with my issue and the questions I had while trying to find a resolution to my particular issue. I felt like they did not believe me with regards to what I was experiencing and that they kept trying to fit me to the prescription based on the eye exam instead of listen to my vision issue and let that guide the care. Also note that if your lenses dont work out you can try a second pair free, but after that you start paying again. I strongly feel they should reconsider this policy especially for first time eye glass wearers because there can be a ton of variables in trying to figure out a persons visual woes initially. Extremely disappointed...

Dr. Amber is a good doc, but I struggled with the office staff. For some reason it always felt like I was inconveniencing them.

Current Experience:The business part has improved a lot. The receptionist is more attentive and helpful than before. And the business manager Lynn takes her time to help me get my contact lens rebate, which I am greatly thankful for her effort. Dr. Dentz is great as usual.Past Experiences:My husband and I had a bad experience with the billing of the Lake County Eye Care. After the eye check, we used our HSA account to pay for the expense. The HSA sent a check directly to the facility. We also called the facility to inform them that the check is on its way. The receptionist said they will watch for that.In 2 weeks, I got a call to pick up my husbands contact lens. When we were there, we were told that they did not receive the payment. Therefore, they cannot give us the contact lens.Our HSA company said the check is sent. Well, I made another 2 phone calls in 2 weeks to check if they receive the payment. Each time they told me that they did not. Finally, we just went there again and paid with our debit card.The thing made me so frustrated is that later our HSA told us that the facility has cashed the check one month ago! However, they kept telling us we owed the money and made us double paid.I called the Lake county Eye care again. The lady said she would check with their billing department. The next morning I received a call that they would return the credit to our debit card.Not a word of apology through the entire time. Seriously, what kind of business would cash a check and not take a look where it comes from or what is it for? If we dont follow up with our insurance and HSA account, we would end up double paying. It is really unprofessional.The OD Doctor is very nice. Just the billing part is frustrating.
