Best place for remodeling and makeover needs like cabinets and kitchen set ups. This is by far the cheapest place for good replacement windows hands down!! Worth the drive and always have stock. Definitely recommend

Great place for new in stock close out cabinets etc. Unfortunately only one kitchens employee available to help on a pretty busy Saturday.

Almost good but they got the wrong person in the counter kathrn she is so rude is sad because all other employees are friendly and respectful but this one make you think about find another place

Customer service is extremely lacking for the owners . Everyone else who works here was extremely nice and covid ready. Please be aware that the owners of this establishment dont follow the mask mandate in CT . so if this is a problem I would stay away

The best place to get inexpensive replacement windows. Theyve got a ton of sizes in stock, same quality as off the shelf at a big box store but 30% less expensive. They have good prices on siding too.

My friend and I were searching thru a huge room of discounted cabinets for more than an hour. I had to go to find someone to ask a question because there was no one around. Not 1 person asked if they could help us. Not to mention the huge crate full of loose cabinet doors that were piled on top of each other. There were so many stuffed in the crate I smashed my fingers a few times. A few had broken panes of glass that thank god I stick my hand down far enough to grab a door next to it. It was very dangerous due to the lack of room in the crate and the broken glass in the crate.But we were created by a lady at the front of the store!

If I could give it a zero I would, employees extremely rude and inappropriate with customers. Literally yelling and arguing with paying customers.

Great place to deliver to. Friendly people and easy to back in. There are two entrances one by the front of the building and one just passed it into the yard where the buses are.

Very helpful people. Every time I visit there someone comes up to offer assistance. They are very knowledgable about their merchandise. Sometimes I would be lost without their assistance.

The place has everything that you will need for a small project. The hardware is always cleaned and plenty of staff around to help you. They sell vinyl window and they have them on stock. I been going to Star Hardware for years now and never had an issue. The parking is big .

Going in person is the best option! Called to ask for a certain item and it took the lady 10 seconds to tell me they didnt have it!! She didnt even check a few minutes later walk into the store and omg they had what item i asked her for but wait she said they didnt have it!!!

I had the worst experience at Star Hardware, I went to star to purchase some custom order windows. when i walked to the back of the store, no one greeted me. I was helped by this lady name Kathryn and she was not helpful at all. i told her the size of the window that i need and she put the order in the computer wrong..She didnt go over any details with me when ordering special order windows..So me window came and they were the wrong size, off by 10 inches. The store have a no refund policy on special order windows. I express my experience with the manager and i also asked him if he can give some type of credit or discount and i will reorder the windows. The manager didnt care that i was out of $600 on some windows that his employee screwed up my order. i said not even $5 you can give me off of the new order. he said nope you signed for it.. i explained to him that the lady didnt go over the details with me and he didnt care... I TOLD HIM I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO HIS STORE, I RATHER TAKE MY BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE, WHERE THEY CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS... STAR HARDWARE SUCKS DONT GO THERE!!!!!!!!!

This is a great hardwre store its a ace hardware. It sldo does many things to accommodate there customers like offering many bengiys that some hardwre stores dont its like a smaller homedepot in one store

I like Star hardware because it owned by ace hardware and their hours are Monday-Friday 7:30am-6pm Saturday 8am-5pm and closed Sunday.
