I appreciate this location and their selection of products, everything I need or want is mostly always in stock, but for the love of humanity please hire more cashiers. Human Cashiers. And chill with the robots. It takes me longer to wait in the check out lines then it does to do my actual shopping. Everyone that works here is lovely and is doing their best. It is not their fault they are understaffed.

Stop & shop deserves five stars as far as great food, clean atmosphere, friendly workers, and a great variety of food and drink but the prices are ridiculously high for example a 2 lt. bottle of coke product is about $2 something for 5 bottles of soda it rang up $12.and change but sales price came to be $5.00 but without sales the prices are ridiculously high for everything. And obviously not everything is on sale.

Staff is always friendly and helpful and the store is very clean. My complaint is not enough real cashiers and too much reliance on self check out.

Stop and shop always has the greatest of all foods today I started with the produce and the colors were so bright and colorful. You could tell they were fresh from A distance. The deli had all fresh Meats and cheeses always having what Im looking for. The shelves were stocked and the sure is always clean!! Safety procedures are in use and your to wear masks.

Stop and Shop hours at New Park Avenue Hartford,CT are now Sunday-Saturday 6am-10pm. Their old hours were Sunday-Saturday 6am-12am midnight but the Stop and Shop in Hartford,CT closes 2 hours early 7 nights a week due to COV-19. I remembered the Stop and Shop in West Hartford,CT on Farmington Avenue is open Monday-Saturday 7am-12am and Sunday 7am-9pm because Stop and Shop Farmington Avenue West Hartford,CT closes 3 hours early on Sundays. The Newington Road Elmwood Plaza Stop and Shop is open Sundays until 11pm and Monday-Saturday until 12am midnight. All Stop and Shop stores offer senior hours from 6am-7:30am.

Manager Jeff Taylor was extremely rude to me; yelled at me for not having a mask on when I didn’t know the city changed its rules. Hope he keeps a mask on his ugly old face. Rude manager!

I can say I am a regular at Stop & Shop for a long time, so this review cover many shopping visits. So on the better side of things: They usually have great prices and the freshest things. On the other side of things sometimes at the checkout are it is not really organized and feel little like a mess.4 stars for being my local grocery store.

Ill always be your customers. I was so happy that everything I needed was here. The staffs are very helpful, and Im impressed because these guys are knowledgeable about their work. It was truly a commendable service and the best place to do your groceries. Highly recommended!

Some of the staffs have bad attitudes, I went to go buy some teas and because some teas were not food stamp approved some female CDH gave me attitude, when I was explaining to her that it shouldnt be placed together with the food stamps approved teas. She voided all my teas and I went home with no teas. I rather go to Walmart.

Never out of groceries or necessities needed. More than one armed security always there, so feel safe being I always have my children with me. Employees always helpful as well.

I always have a smooth, problem free experience when Im in this store. I was in and out in about 15 minutes which is nice.

I would like to commend this whole store for the friendly positive attitude all the employees have. The store is clean, neat and generally well stocked and Every employee takes the time to say good morning to me when I meet them in the aisles. Theres no particular day just going shopping I walked into the store location not only was the customer service rude and unprofessional the store had a funky order to it so Im thinking maybe someone spilled something until I realized when I went up aisle six out seven and nine it was a little critters crawling all over the floor so I got even closer to one accident crawling across my foot it realized it was a rat so I brought it up to one of the customer service people they said oh we know its being handled Im like well if you know why your store not closed because this is a health violation basically youre selling contaminated food to the public and actually letting it be sold so youre not considering of your patrons thats coming to buy groceries

I just love that I can find the things I need.

Not the greatest grocery store in the area, but it is the one that is open the latest. The staff is mostly younger (under 21-ish) and dont seem to care really. Also, the management is poor. The last three times Ive been there, numerous customers were walking around with no masks or masks not on properly, and no one said anything to them. I recommend going to Big Y or somewhere else. Being safe and healthy are a huge priority in my life, and I feel like I am jeopardizing that when I shop there.

Its was very over crowded not enough cashier or enough team work to help each other out. 2 registers open and the self check out line was all the way down to the ice cream station

As a Servsafe Manager there are too many problems here.First of being at least once a week me getting my money back. Due to rat or mice nibbles in the bags of foods or perishables I have purchased. This is in the brink of Carona & by the looks of the whole it is way bigger than a mouse. Cmon son I lived in the worst street of Hartford back in the day so I KNOW! (rosemont st)

I Walked in today and had a small conversation with the security guard Lorenzo he made my experience at stop and shop feel safer and he made it a more friendly environment

Lorenzo the security guard made me feel so welcomed when i walked in today his hello made my day need more employees like this and when i introduced myself to him he actually remembered my name when i was walking out i will be coming back to visit this stop and shop made my visit very pleasant

Good store overall but the deli guy was very rude and didnt want to open up a new pack of Buffalo chicken, he tried to give me some old lookin meat in a old bag I complained to management but of course nothing happened. Now I go to the stop&shop in East Hartford very nice clean store and friendly friendly people as well.

Do NOT SHOP HERE! They do not enforce masks, social distancing, or 1 way aisle. Employees actively ignore people who are not wearing masks. Managment when informed basically shrugs. It is chaos and very dangerous. An employee allowed a man to get up in my face when I asked him to stay 6 ft away from me. Do NOT SHOP HERE!

Great place, usually not crowded. You can get a lot of good offers like buy 2 get 2 free so you end up buying a lot like me. Otherwise great prices and variety.

Used to be great! Now most of the produce isnt the freshest. The quality of the grocery items at this location is seriously declining. Seen from molded pies, flies on groceries, to expired items being sold on the shelves. When sales may seem good be cautious to verify EXPIRATION DATES prior to purchasing!! However, most employees are helpful and kind to customers.

They have some really good food prices. The store is clean. I think they should get rid of the lobster tank. Sometimes the smell meets you at the front door.

My favorite place to grocery shop. Never had a bad experience at stop and shop. Food is always fresh. Bakery had fresh Bakery foods daily. The meats are fresh!! store is very clean. The shelves are Always stocked. You pay more but know things are fresh and always in stock. Plus theres a florist on hand as well as a place to get fresh baked cakes made for parties.

This is the place you get a2milk which very good for health compare to regular milk.Great grocery store, always fresh vegetables and fruits also you many organic produce option. Daily fresh baking products and cakes of many varieties to choose from. Artisan bread is very fresh and testy.I would suggest to have your member card as you get price discounts on many products.
