Very worst shop. All the items are expired date . Even 5 months expired products and 1 year expired products they are selling and the shop owner lady is very rude if we tell about expired items should not be sold as it’s out of selling policy. Please don’t prefer this shop. Decayed products. Please try Ctown shop. Attached photos. Please zoom and see the expiry date which taken recently

Overall, this a decent market. They have a fairly large variety of products and a deli. The sandwiches are fresh made and decent. While the sandwich I had wasnt the best Ive ever had, it also wasnt the worst... something in middle. If I needed something quick Id come back again for sure.

Nice little corner store for some need to have essentials. Lady at the cashier was super kind and helpful about an item that wasnt stocked... there was a bit of confusion on my part, but she gave me directions to someone that was kind enough to get me what I needed... Has a few speciality cuisine ingredient items for that may or may not be hard to find elsewhere...

Can get Indian groceries in the neighborhood, instead of driving far. Of corse, the price point is higher than other Indian grocery stores. Can improve the quality of products. Found few expired milk cartons and expired coconut chutneys as well.

I have been looking for a good place to get salads, THIS IS NOT IT. I ordered the Harvest Cobb, which sounded lovely but was incredibly underwhelming. Half of the ingredients were missing, it consisted of romaine lettuce, chicken, some bacon crumbles (like the kind out of a jar) and one egg... and a packet of store bought guac on the side (which is not the same as fresh avocado in the salad). I was not into it and it was NOT worth $8.

This place has high prices for any product that you purchase. The price of Indian grocery at this store is very high compared to any Indian grocery in Hartford. Even other commodities like bread, eggs are priced atleast 1.5$ over the regular price. Not recommended pricing wise. I do hop here only for quick needs otherwise don’t spend out here. You can get the same / better product elsewhere.

I feel like a VIP vegan at this store. I am a picky eater and have been satisfied (finally) with my experience here. Tonite for example I was able to buy last minute grocery’s after they closed. I am so grateful for the Vegan options and for the fact that I was able to shop last minute. Thank you! Thank you!! Thank you!! 🤗

Visiting my sister from Manhattan, and this is my new favorite spot. A true bodega and the best place for essentials within walking distance downtown. It had everything we needed for Bloody Mary supplies and was one of the only places open on a Saturday AM. Best part was the friendly guy at the grill - he made a phenomenal steak and egg sandwich for breakfast. Will be back! Happy to see a business like this doing well.

I like the selection of products for such a small store. I liked the produce I got but two large containers of mixed lettuce along with some red and green peppers and a couple cucumbers was $27. I was very surprised. The price per pound for the peppers and cucumbers seemed reasonable so I figured it was the lettuce but couldnt tell after leaving because there were no prices. I really wanted to be a regular customer but when so many items are not priced and my first visit was about twice what I expected I fear going back.

I come here almost every day - whether its to grab a few groceries or one of their delicious sandwiches. They have a great selection and are always willing to look into ordering something they dont have it in stock. The staff is extremely friendly and I look forward to chatting with them every time I go in! I also put in large catering orders frequently for work and my colleagues always rave about how good the wraps are. Even if I give them short notice, they always have my order ready on time and are super accommodating. So, so glad this place opened up. I also wanted to share this note I got from a coworker: The good people of Greenway made me one of the best breakfast sandwiches ever. The staff got together and strategized what to put on the sandwich. I love them. :)

What a great addition to downtown! More than a deli or bodega - they have a full range of fresh produce, a salad bar, fresh meat, full dairy case (including non-dairy options), tons of pantry staples (including organic versions of almost everything they sell). Breads from Hartford Baking Co and fresh cold-pressed juice to order. You could literally walk in here and buy everything you need to make dinner tonight -- or dont walk in, call them and ask them to deliver it! Prices are on par with Stop & Shop and Whole Foods. Great owners who really believe in Hartford and meeting the needs of the growing downtown residential population.

Great local bodega in downtown Hartford. No one else in the downtown area comes close to the quality of the selection (they have fresh produce, healthy options, vegetarian options, ethnic foods, etc.), staff, or cleanliness. I would give the sandwiches only 4/5 stars but the kombucha on tap makes up for it.

I really cant tell you how excited I am to have found this place. Im new to the Hartford area and work downtown off Trumbull and Ive been searching for a good breakfast/lunch stop for months. This place was recommended by a coworker and Ive now gone 2 days in a row - and will continue Im sure. My lunch the passed 2 days has been utterly perfect, the soups are the perfect match to a chilly day - completely delicious. The atmosphere is clean and the products are diverse and health conscious - 2 good enough reasons to frequent this type of establishment. What sets The Greenway Market apart from your other lunch/grocery/quick errand stops is the people - youll enter to a warm welcome, youll leave to a high five, and in between those times, youll interact with genuine people who enjoy what they do, connect with you as a person and not just a customer, and listen to provide a great service, offering help in any way they can. I cant express enough how I hope this first 6 months turns into many many more.

I waited over an hour for delivery. They sent the wrong dressing...which I could not eat due to dairy in in. The salad was missing the quinoa, which is the reason I ordered it. When I attempted to eat the salad...I found pieces of chicken in it. This was very upsetting, so I had no lunch on my busy workday. It was also very sloppy and did not look fresh. They charge a $3.99 delivery fee and received a tip. Money wasted. DO NOT ORDER FROM GREENWAY!!!!!!!!!

For a small space they have most of the necessities, with a lot of healthy / organic brands. They have goldbergs bagels in the morning, a person who makes juices out of all kinds of fresh ingredients, and there are also baked goods up front. I hope more people use them so they can expand.

I give it four stars for its unique selection of pre-made sandwiches, salads, bowls, produce, and quick convenience options. On a bad side, they are stupidly expensive for no reason. On the other, they have some items that are harder to find in most small stores, like the Gardein meatless products. Good if in need of a sandwich or coffee on the go, but Ill take my grocery shopping elsewhere.
