Awful customer service, will not go here again. We brought up a controller box, and the man at the counter did not even turn around, he just smugly said “i don’t have that, sorry” and kept going with what he was doing.Treat your customers better!

DO NOT trust same-day home delivery from this store. I ordered a Nintendo Switch at noon and was told it would be delivered by 8 pm, and that I would receive regular text updates to let me know the progress. By 8:30 I had still received no updates, and the status of my order on the website was “waiting for delivery pick-up at the store.” When I reached out to customer service, they told me that the order had already been picked up 2 hours before and that I just needed to be patient, and that if I needed to reach out again, to connect with DoorDash, who was handling the delivery. 2 more hours later (10:30 pm) I have still heard nothing and received nothing. When I contacted DoorDash, they told me they were not able to look up the order because it was placed through GameStop. When I contacted GameStop again, they told me it was just a “failed delivery” and there was nothing they could do besides refund the order, which would take 3 days (probably more because it’s a holiday weekend). So essentially, someone claimed my purchase, and stole it, and neither GameStop had any means of tracking it. How is this a viable business model????? How is this good customer service????? Awful and incredibly disappointing, will definitely be making the actual purchase of the Switch somewhere else. Please do not advertise services you cannot actually fulfill.

Ive been coming to this Gamestop for around 15 years now and Ive always have a great experience. Recently, the store NEVER answers the phone, no matter the time of day. If I have a simple question, I shouldnt have to call a gamestop thats a few towns over.

GameStop is a place Ive gone to for many years. The employees are knowledgeable and very helpful. They help by taking the next step by calling around to stores to see if they have what Im looking for in stock. If I need anything gaming GameStop is my go to.

Games store with not enough games? Wow. And the service? Horrible, the associates give off a weird vibe. Honestly don’t waste your time going there better off going to another one; at least they’ll have more games to choose from.

By far the most helpful and inviting store

It was ok. They did not have in stock the kind of controller that my grandson wanted and had no idea when they would. Cashier was super helpful and apologetic for the inconvenience.

It was good, I bought what I needed and out the door I went. The guy at front was nice and answered all my questions.

Had and amazing experience with the Sales associate who I believe is a manager his name was Ty. He was helpful, kind and knowledgeable. Great employee and even greater human being so kind with other customers who spoke in Spanish. Professional.

Even though the staff was extremely busy given the current circumstances while on the phone Chris took the time to make sure he had the games I was looking for in stock. This place is terrible they need new management

You can never go wrong here. My boyfriend was having issues with his Xbox one and they took it for a discount on a used Xbox one that they had in the store.

I don’t write reviews often but today was special I talk to Nicolas about a new game that came out but that wasn’t the special part. I was about to leave when a deaf black guy comes in took me a minute never somewhat met a deaf person and nick communicated with him I was highly impressed. Not many people these days give that kind of service but I was happy to see that. GameStop my happy place

Horrible experience here some chunky girl (describing not insulting, as I myself am obese) made me wait with zero phone calls and no other customers at the moment. I’m a very patient person but this was by far way too long of a wait time for anyone.

I love the store and the staff, but across the board the prices can be hefty...

They never anything come in. They tell you so many different stories. Worst Game Stop I have ever been too. Don’t even waste your time.

These people have the nerve to sell me a used console for the price of a brand new one. I didnt take a pic but controller in box said day one 2013 with rubber bands holding the wires. Gamestop needs to go out of buisness already if these are the shady ways they are pushing used systems as new. Just get your stuff at best buy or amazon.

Awful. Purchased a used ps3 game and it didn’t work. Called the store and the manager admitted that they don’t quality check or test used games. Offered an exchange, but given that I don’t live in the area, this wasn’t an option. Store essentially took my money in exchange for a clearly scratched and defective disk. Highly recommend you stay away from this store.

GameStop at 69 William Shorty Campbell St, Hartford, CT 06106Is taking in stolen products .. not sure where they stand in this ring or thieves .. but I got 25ibs of electronics seized today before the evidence was gone . I followed my stolen iPad to Hartford weatherfield ave then to gamestop and from GameStop to fedex and that is where I had it stopped .. hopefully this will help some people get there stuff back ..

Prices are pretty reasonable and sometimes you find great deals on the used games and consoles.

I didnt like that they dont have the option to be able to print out receipts from days to months ago. The only thing they have it you can look at or take a picture of the last 5 items you purchased.

This game stop store at charter oak market place phone is not answering my call. I tried 8 times to get through to someone. When it asked me to press 1 to speak to a associate, I press 1, it rings once, then hangs up on me. I purchased drankengard 3. When I got home the game case was in the bag, but the game disc wasnt in the case. This is not right. Watch and make sure these associates are putting the game in the cases before you leave this store, or they will rip you off. They better give me what I purchased when I return or Im calling the police.
