I would never purchase another vehicle from here again. This is my first Toyota purchase from what I hear Toyotas are great cars the customer service on the other hand is horrible. When your shopping your going to get smiles and friendly conversation as soon as you cut the check all of that changes. Upon test driving a used pre owned certified 2019 highlander a piece that I pointed out was broken, I was told would be taken care of by the sales representative Brianna. Brianna assured me that everything would be taken care of. Two days later I am dealing with service on my own with no one in service knowing anything about a broken part. Not only do I have a broken piece of the back of the drivers chair not intact. A day later I am hearing a weird noise coming from the rear view mirror. I was told that my vehicle can not be inspected/serviced for another 2 weeks to see why this is happening. In addition to this the dealership is not honoring an warranty that is being advertised in the front of their store for certified used vehicles(Line 2 on this picture below states that ALL Pre Owned Certified Vehicles Have 1 year Of Free Matienance) This is definitely false advertising.The original Carpets went missing, broken pieces and terrible communication. I am still praying that they refund me my deposit- this is so frightening to think that is this is happening in a matter of 48hrs of having purchased this vehicle.If this is the service that I am experiencing I can only fear how my vehicle may hold up based on what they told me was serviced previously. I was told that minorities dont get treated great by inmer city companies. I didnt want to believe this by now I do! I will be filing a report with the state attorney generals office as well as the better business bureau.
Took in my 2003 Yoda Corolla for the factory recall on the Airbags, and emissions test. Hadnt ever been there prior. My first impression is its a nice dealership. Was recently built, and is loaded with all the current up to date needs and technologies.They have a large waiting area, and 2 large screen 📺s. They got my car in and out in relatively no time at all.I would recommend this location for all your Toyota and lexis needs.They also have very clean and well maintained 🚻 facilities. 👍
This place is so unorganized and not very knowledgeable. I know we are in a job crisis right now and people are hiring anybody, literally. But the training need to be a bit better. I had one simple question and got transferred about 6 times. They were transferring the call to the same people who didn’t know the answer to my question which is very frustrating. Then when I finally did get someone I got a half answer because the employee wasn’t knowledgeable. I talked to three different people about pricing and got three different prices. I’d expect something like that from one of these garage places that sell cars but not from a popular dealership.

5-10 minutes late to open doors for service. Figured its Friday, no big deal.Was told car was washed and it was not. Again, no big deal just dont like being lied to, intentional or not. Feels like bad communication.Also, they typically, never hook strut back on glove box after checking cabin air filter so I have to remember to tell them not to check, since I do it now. Sometimes they check anyway and leave strut unconnected. This is annoying.All this after I just complimented them on their service this morning.Bummed, cause have two cars I have serviced there for some time, and even bought there.
They had what I wanted however, the rep I spoke with via telephone on Friday told me the price inclusive of tax but when I went there the Monday a different rep told me a price $7 more. I only purchase it because all the scrap yards I visited didnt have what I wanted.

A week has went by and still waiting for the remainder of my issues to be rectified. Dont believe the hype! The owner is only concerned with his name being tarnished supposed to standing by his word. Its a cruel world out here. Next time I will read reviews first just the same as I often do with making small purchases first.

So I walking in this morning with the intention of buying a car. I was in and out of cars on the show room for about an hour and no one said a word to me. I couldnt believe it. Im thinking to myself, is no one going to sell me a car as employees sit around on their phones. Some even walk by me and not as much as a hi how are you doing.
In and out in under one hour! Called and talked with Lori. Was given a price on a new RAV4 Prime. Lori set up an appointment with Jennifer.I had already contacted 5 other dealerships over two weeks. Was not in a good mood because all the other Toyota dealers B.S. Showed up on time and they had the car ready and waiting. They spent most of the time showing me how to use it. Everyone was nice and professional even with me being short and to the point. Now the BEST part, the price I was given was the price I drove away paying to the penny! NO and I mean NO extra charges, None! Let me say that again. No extra charges, taxes, or fees. Thank you Andie Montanez for the under 10 minutes paperwork. Now I have a new Rav4 with a no added cost lifetime limited powertrain warranty! Total time I spent at Hartford store in my one and only trip there was about 54 minutes. I plan on coming back to buy another vehicle soon because it is worth the drive to deal with professionals.

I think the check in process for service needs to be streamlined in a better way. The gentleman at the desk was upset because I didn’t come to check with him until the car was taken for service. So you either ask the customers to stay inside the car until checked or you don’t take the car before it’s checked. By the way I came in to check in as soon as someone was free to check me in. I’ve visited similar Toyota dealers and they have it sorted out pretty well.

This is by far one of the worst dealership experiences I have ever had to date. I put a deposit down on a vehicle only to find out that the dealership did not disclose the fact that it had been in a serious accident. After cancelling my purchase I requested a refund and thats where the real fun began. They began ignoring my calls and sending them to voicemail repeatedly. I contacted the saleswoman I worked with multiple times who has only given me more and more excuses. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere when purchasing a vehicle the headache is really not worth it.

I am very pleased with my entire experience at Hartford Toyota from calling to inquire all the way to leaving in my new truck. Dakota was incredibly helpful in setting up an appointment and easy to get a hold of when we were unexpectedly going to arrive late. I had never thought to make an appointment before but incredibly glad she suggested it as it streamlined the process. Long story but wanted to be as honest as possible. Made it clearly visible my business doesn’t matter. I purchased a brand new 2020 RAV4. First, I made a large down payment. I said I only wanted to pay half and I’d give them rest once I can pick up the car. I was told that was fine. The following day, some one else calls me and tells me I must pay the other half. I explained what I was told but still pay because I’m a reasonable person. 7 days later!!!! I’m finally called to pick up my car. After asking daily and being refused a rental or anything in the mean time. When given my car, the registration is still incomplete. I’m told to just drive it on my old plates (pretty sure illegal). Five days after that!!! I’m told to come get my plates and registration. At which point I tell them certain features in my BRAND NEW CAR aren’t working. They tell me they can’t do anything right now and I’ll have to come back again. I’m also told that I can just go to another Toyota. I JUST BOUGHT THE CAR FROM THEM! They made no accommodations, no attempts to make better, and weren’t really concerned at all. Didn’t even try to make me feel better at all, after remaining professional and letting them know several times I was getting upset. There is so much more to write but I’d say save your sanity, there are so many other dealerships. Go somewhere else.
You better pray that your Sales Consultant doesnt take the day off because, apparently, no one else can help you if you havent bought the car from them.

BEWARE future car buyers. I have been plenty of places during this pandemic and feel mostly safe since most businesses are following state regulations. I went in to see a Toyota Camry and I am shocked to say that at Hartford Toyota barely any of the employees were wearing masks and those that were had it underneath their nose or completely down under their chin...these same people were coughing, sniffling, touching their nose and then touching surfaces. DISGUSTING. I left and took my business elsewhere.
Steer clear of this dealership. I should have known when the finance guy made it dificult to get the regional incentive toyota was running on camrys the moment when I clearly met all the criteria for it. The finance people are crooks, the service people are rude and condecending. To get a large repair done while the car was under warrantee I had to get toyota customer relations involved. When they made the repair, they broke my consolé on my car, replaced the consolé and broke something else. I didnt notice until I was vacuming the car a few weeks later. I called and they made it feels as though I did it. I decided there and then to just get rid the car. Just traded the car in for another brand at another dealer in central ct and the experience was night and day. You guys should learn a thing or two from Monaco Ford. If you insist on buying toyota go to lynch or Hoffman.

I bought two cars from here. I liked their services. Don’t only rely on sales agent before making a final deal make sure you visit a store manager. He will love to give you any additional benefits if he can. Only thing that I don’t like is waiting time snd they have few loaners.
WE Drove 2.5 Hours to find out.......that this company runs a class act!We purchased a pre-owned 2014 Toyota Sequoia that was EVERYTHING they say it would be. I told my wife we were crazy to drive two and a half hours to look at a possible truck purchase.The dealership described the truck over the phone, sent a quick video of the truck and off we went to see it!Well, we ended up buying this beauty and bringing her back to Long Island to enjoy. We did have one issue with the registering of the truck, but never once did we feel as if the dealer sold the vehicle and then left us hanging with the problem. Went here today for the first time, for an oil change, tire rotation, brake inspection, suspension inspection, and belt inspection. I was told it would be $200 just for the inspections. I have always serviced my vehicle at other Toyota dealerships and never was charged for such courtesy inspections with an oil change. Will not be returning
When there to check for a minivan but in my lock all the cars was sold, I have to go back next month and see.

Was in the parking lot inquiring about a car. One of the salesman said I needed a mask if I wanted to come inside just as a woman working there walked by the glass with a mask under her chin...comical. So I left. I understand the need for a mask but if you’re going to enforce rules start with your employees.
These guys will tell you anything to sell a car. My son was looking for a car. They ran his credit and it was good. So they played the BULL S&$# CARD, they said he was good to go. And at a 2% interest and they promised everything under the sun. Then the games start. different people come in and out telling us this and that. Then all the sudden they said my son needs a co signer but it will be taken off in a few months. I never had to deal with a co sign. So I took Thier word on it. It turned out I am financing this car at 9%. These guys screwed us over. I will be going to the BBB and reporting Hartford Toyota for deceiving customers. Customer beware dont trust this company. There is a Nissan dealer right down the street. The probably wont screw you around.
Ive always had Toyota take care of my car needs. Last week Wednesday they did service to my car, and my remote starter has not been working since, today they told me its been five years since they installed it, and I cant prove that it was working before. Thing is I had no problem remotely starting my car until last Thursdays morning.

Had my Tacoma towed to Hartford Toyota after a mechanical problem interrupted travel plans when in the area from out of town. Service advisor, Bo, was able to have problem assessed and repaired within a few hours so we could continue on our trip. I would use the service department at Hartford Toyota again if in the area.
I went on the first Saturday that the Superstore was allowed more than one person in the showroom at a time. The process was a little hectic at the start, but is TOTALLY understandable given that it was the first time they were opening up to many people after working with such low numbers for so long. After we got the ball rolling, I was treated very respectfully by all parties and felt as though my time was valued. I ended up leaving that day with the model car I had my eye on. My salesman Leslie, and Sales Manager Gaetano were awesome to work with and helped me get the car I wanted for the price I could afford. I would recommend the Hartford Toyota Superstore to anyone.
“Bought” a car in august and was transferring my plates from my previous car. Left with the vehicle 8/27 thinking everything would be transferred for me as I was told would happen. Weeks went by and no registration me calling asking what was up and getting the run around of the corona virus this that. So on sept 26 I got pulled over by a state police officer and was given a criminal ticket for swapping plates and driving an unregistered vehicle. A felony! My vehicle was towed and a week and a half later I got it out of impound. As soon as all this was done I got my vehicle inspected and it failed for front end play.... 2 weeks later and being ignored and given the run around I still have a rejection sticker on my vehicle and no call or anything back. This is not how a big dealer ship should be running and I am beyond frustrated. My next step at this point is getting myself a lawyer, just didn’t wanna go through all that. But I have no other option
Gave an extra star since the sales guy was very nice. Bought a used car from them at the beginning of the year. After looking at it and taking it for a test drive and giving them the green light and told them that I wanted to make the purchase they informed me that the guy who does the pricing on the website mispriced the car at less than what they were actually supposed to sell it for telling me that the actual price was a whole $700 more. Gave me a whole story of how sorry they were but I don’t believe for a second that’s what actually happened. They ended up getting an extra $700 out of me plain and simple because they knew how much I wanted it. Will 100% never buy another vehicle from there again. In the future, if you guys actually screwed up, you own the mistake, this is now how you make repeat buyers.

My experience at Hartford Toyota was a big relief after a difficult wrangling with a previous dealer. I thought both my sales rep (Devin) and the finance manager (Asad) were excellent, both professional and direct. They put me at ease about the whole thing. They made it clear about my expectations versus what I was capable of having, while at he same time showing me multiple possibilities in a clear and gimmick-less manner. Although there was a long wait for the finance manager due to other patrons, when I got to him, he was just as energetic, attentive, and professional, as if the day just started. Im glad I was able to get my car and make it through the whole process with my legs and arms in tact.
We bought a 2019 Toyota Corolla, unfortunately the vehicle’s ignition has broke. I’ve had this vehicle for one year and I am very disappointed with the vehicle. They do not have a warranty for a 1 year, they told me that I have to pay 700$ to pay for the ignition. This deal is not worth the price, I will never buy this from this dealer again. They told me there was no warranty on this vehicle. Usually when I purchase a vehicle there is a three year warranty, but these vehicles have no warranty at all! BE CAREFUL WHEN BUYING FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!

My wife and I bought two new vehicles from Henry at Hartford Toyota this weekend and we cannot say how great our experience was enough. Henry was patient and knowledgeable and made the entire experience painless. There was no pressure put on us at all which was a pleasant surprise because as everyone knows, buying a new car can be a huge headache. The entire staff was so nice to us as well. Everybody checked in on us whenever Henry needed to walk away to do anything for us. The manager spoke with us for a while and made us feel very at home and was so friendly. I would highly recommend this dealership to anybody.

I drove out of state to come here when we seen an ad on a car we wanted. We talked to Dakota on the phone before going and she wanted to make sure the car was ready for us before we made that long drive there. After the dreadful traffic we finally got to the entrance and was greeted and they offered coffee, I needed it lol I had the pleasure of meeting Jeannette who assisted me. I fell in love with the car when she got it by the entrance!! I also met Diego and Richard, they were all so nice. They got some good selections there too. Also my financial service guy he was so funny lol I forgot his name but thanks you guys!!
This place never dissapoints me. I have been a loyal customer for the past 13 years and I can assure you that you can be treated with respect and honesty. They just dont try to sell you a car instead they try to relate and be personablen in the purchasing process. For instance, Luis helped throughout the purchasing process and he was very knowledgeable and efficient. When I found the perfect car for me which was a 2020 Toyota rav4, Janette took the time to explain all the features and answered all of my questions thoroughly. The people that work here are very knowledgeable about their stock and take the time to provide great customer service which is very important for me. I work out of state and can only rely on my wife to take care of our vehicle. The dealer has all my contact info as I’m always in charge of maintaining the vehicle. I called ahead discussed repairs with Cesar the Service Advisor and Mike the Service manager and came to an agreement on repairs. I was told to bring the vehicle down so I had my wife do so. When she arrived and signed the repair order they completely did other repairs not discussed. The service Advisor Bo said there’s nothing he can do as my wife signed the repair order. They have completely taken advantage of my wife and lost my trust! I purchased the vehicle there and have been very loyal even performing my services early! I will never return as they have lost my trust and all future business this is the 1st of many reviews I will post!

This is the best dealership around. The sales team makes the purchasing process seamless and their website is great. I was able to pick out my exact car online from what they had in stock, and then just stopped by to do the paperwork to buy it. The service department is also great and I do all of my recommended service there. You can schedule any service you need right on their website, which is very convenient.

Purchasing a car is no easy task as it partakes extensive hours of searching, analyzing and then finding out what will be the best option for you financially. After noticing a melted dashboard in my 2009 Camry, I did research and found out that there was a recall on the dashboard which I was never notified about. I found this out on my own. The service advisor was not helpful at all and I was told that I would have to bring in the car and pay 100$ just to get the car checked. On top of this I would have to pay out of pocket for a new dashboard and labor. This is absolutely ridiculous and the car is not drivable during the daytime due to the intense glare caused by this melted dash. This was not my fault in anyway and I was never notified of the recall, the staff here has not been helpful at all. I am seriously considering switching over to another make and selling my Camry. This has been an absolute deal breaker for me.

The staff at Hartford Toyota worked very hard to make sure that I was a satisfied customer. While they have tons of vehicles to choose from, the perfect vehicle for me was not on their lot. The sales manager located exactly what I was looking for and the sales rep, Dwight Lucky, personally went to get the vehicle from another state so I would not have to wait for it to be transferred. Dwight also turned in my previously leased vehicle on my behalf so that I would not have to coordinate the return. I am extremely pleased with the amount of effort Dwight, as well as the rest of the team at Hartford Toyota, put forth to make certain my needs were met and my expectations were exceeded!

I purchase a 2019 Toyota Camry SE for 35,500, the car is not even worth that price. My car got stolen a few days ago, came to find out this car doesn’t even have a gps tracker, I called the lady who sold me the car and told me none of the cars comes with that, car doesn’t even have a remote starter, they want to charge me $500 for this feature on my car. This lady didn’t even knew if my key can be reset. I had to call my self to services and figure it out. They will help you purchase your vehicle don’t get me wrong. But for the rest you have to figure out your self
All my interactions with the staff at the Hartford Toyota center from the receptionist to the salesman was excellent. They took their time to explain each step and always were patient and provided great customer service. The center was also very clean, smelled great and the cars on display were shining. I had a great experience and am reccommending them to everyone. A special thank you to Luis, Steven and Jeanette. They were the dream team and i hope to work with them again on my next vehicle.
I went in to buy a certified pre-owned car and Jennifer G. was my salesperson. She was super nice, not pushy at all. She also worked with us to stay in our price range and monthly payment range. This was my first experience buying a car (I’ve always bought my cars outright) and I couldn’t recommend her enough!
Dwight and Tony provided me with a great deal of support. I came in just to look at used cars and I left with a brand new car that was within my price range. They both took their time to help me figure out what I exactly wanted and was able to find me a solution. They had a great deal of patience with me and I thank them both for that. Purchased a used car from Hartford Toyota and it could not have been a better experience. Louis Martinez was awesome, highly recommend asking for his assistance if you are in the market for a new or used vehicle. Carlos in the Finance department made sure everything was presented clearly and you understood each box before signing.All in all awesome experience and highly recommend taking a visit to see what they offer. Our family met up in Hartford for Thanksgiving 2018. We were preparing to head back to Maine when warning lights showed on the dash of our car and the thought of driving home was scary. Brandon Chin was able to work our car into the service departments schedule very quickly. They determined the problem and said we would make it home safely. Brandon was calm, patient and explained our cars issue so we could understand.
Bad customer sevice they give you appointment time and them you have to wait two or three hours waitng

Patricia was very nice on the phone, I was excited about meeting her when she scheduled the appt. She knows her product and enjoys doing her job. My sales person Henry Montgomery was such a nice man, I had a great car buying experience! He went above and beyond to get me in my vehicle... The Superstore is full of superstars! They all work together as a unit and it shows. These are professional people whom I enjoyed being around and I will be back for my Toyota Highlander. I love my new Camry!
The entire team was very welcoming and friendly. I was referred to this dealership by someone with a similar experience. Everyone was open and honest and didnt pressure me into anything I didnt need. When it came to working out the numbers, they were very easy to work with and did their best to get us to where we needed to be. Overall I highly recommend this dealership!
Front desk rude as hell
Not impressed with this dealership at all. An attempt was made to purchase a new SUV, but failed due to poor overall sales process and slooooow customer service. Oh and not to mention poor sanitary techniques all around !! just not a good environment.
The staff at Hartford Toyota is exceptional!!! From the moment you walk in the door, you feel welcomed. Not because they want your money, but because you chose them. My entire experience was great, Guy was very knowledgeable about the inventory and the process. He was very honest and up front with me, he never misled me as to what I could afford v.s. what I wanted. I truly appreciate an HONEST car dealer. His personality is amazing, by the time I left the dealership, I had made a friend. The staff on the financial end were astounding with what they were able to do for me. Rich and Tony worked wonders for me so that I left with the two cars that I needed, instead of the one car that I came for. FANTASTIC service from beginning to end.
Dwight was exceptional and very accommodating, allowing my wife and I to take an extended test drive. And giving us both an opportunity to drive the Lexus. There was a delay with the Title being delivered to the dealership, something the Sales Manager elected to withhold from us until after he had our check in hand. Thus the 4 Star rating for the dealership instead of 5. Clearly this manager has lost sight of a fundamental truth all merchants used to know - The Customer is Royalty.
Luis is respectful, professional, honest and friendly ... an exemplary model of integrity and represents Toyota well! I did not make a purchase on the day I visited, and was upfront with Luis. Instead of rushing me through the test drive and my questions, Luis took the time to make sure ALL of my concerns were addressed. I had a great experience with Hartford Toyota in 2006 when we bought our last Highlander...I came back now that Im in the market for my next Highlander. Luis did not disappoint. I will be bringing my husband with me for the text drive on the next visit:)
Horrible experience from purchase of car to finding out their service team... especially Cesar, Jen and the principal Richard M... are unprofessional, incompetent and provide incorrect info. Was lied to repeatedly. Really a disgusting group and my experience was both insulting and left my car in a wildly unsanitary and unsafe condition. If you must buy Toyota do not ever consider this horrible dealership.
I bought a used car and was treated great. Jeannette my sales consultant kept me informed and made sure the car was perfect and even delivered it! Can not ask for more than that.
