Take a trip back in time. Great retro atmosphere. Enjoyed the ice cream. Old fashion fountain soda. My wife and I enjoyed the friendly service.
This was such a nice place to visit. Everything about it was nostalgic and brought a smile to our faces. The food was pretty good and so were the portions. The ice cream was a real treat and the staff was very friendly. The only thing was that it was a bit pricey but we would definitely go back.
Excellent great home made ice cream & home made waffle cones in three flavors. Variety of flavors like 31 flavors use to be. Plus you can get a fantastic hot dogs.
This is one of the best ice cream shops hands down! So much fun to visit!
Great ice cream and service. Very cool atmosphere. Love coming here!
LOVED this place!! Great ambiance, takes you back to a true 1950s soda shoppe, complete with a working jukebox that still plays records, a working soda fountain, great ice cream and cones, unique candies, regional bottled sodas, baked goods and awesome mac n cheese. Awesome, friendly staff and service too. They just dont make em like this anymore! Highly recommend!!
Was happily greeted by Jadon. Such great customer service from him. Happy, upbeat, interacting with the customers. Great experience, atmosphere, and selection. Such nostalgia too!
This is an amazing ice cream place with a good little lunch/dinner menu. Tons of unique ice cream flavors and classic candies. Stopped by for lunch yesterday and loved it. The my kids had the Mac and cheese which was amazing and creamy. They couldnt eat it all so I very happily finished their bowls for them. I had the pulled pork which was the perfect amount of meat the bread combo. It came on a quality bun and a doll spear. My girlfriend had the chicken sandwich which she loved. Came with lettuce and tomato. Their ice cream is homemade and their cherry cheesecake flavor was awesome. The owners said they make homemade cheesecake to add to the batter. Will definitely be back often.
Excellent ice cream, the old-fashioned way with lots of flavors you can look and taste before commiting. Good seating and on a nice day, the Hartford park is less than a minute walk, nice place to walk, or sit on a bench and enjoy a few cones.
Theyve got delicious homemade ice cream and sun drop in glass bottles. Whats not to love?
Amazing place. Awesome icecream and food
Homemade ice cream with unique and delicious flavors. The shop also sells old fashioned candy and a wonderful variety of roasted nuts.
Very cool place. Ice-cream home-made and very good. Lots of flavor choices /combos old fashioned candy as well!
Actually went to grand dads bakery dont see what all the hype is . Kwik trip donuts are better
Good ice cream, cool environment but a touch pricey for an ice cream cone
Try the fries. Theyre good. They have ice cream. Its good too.
So many flavor options. Delicious, lots of seating available (got busier after we left)
A charming, nostalgic shop with candies, nuts, soup, hotdogs and ICE CREAM!You will be welcomed by friendly staff as you step back in time, take a seat in a 50s style booth, listen to a song on the jukebox and savor a sweet treat.
It was great and had a wide selection of ice cream and candy.
Wonderful place a MUST STOP in Hartford cute ice cream parlor and ***AWESOME EMPLOYEES ****
Fantastic ice cream all around great experience. Very unique place. Loved it.
Fantastic ice cream - unique variety of flavors! And fun ambience, friendly service.
The ice cream is great, and the historical photos seal the deal on the great experience.
Outstanding creamy and Delicious ice cream! I already plan to come back next week to try more flavors!Thank you Scoop Deville !
Cool old fashioned ice cream and candy shop.
The ice cream is great! However, they have a lot of employees but are not very organized and it can take a long time to get food and sometimes ice cream.
Wonderful place with a lovely taste of yesteryear. Definitely worth a visit!
My favorite ice cream. Reminds me of when I was a little kid.
Was amazing. I was able to have gf df ice cream. So happy I went. And the staff was incredibly friendly. I will definitely be returning ☺
Travel 2.5 hours, without hesitation, to partake in the atmosphere Ray and Carrie work hard everyday just to see the smiles on their customers faces. One scoop at a time. A Wisconsin must see.
Wonderful ice cream shoppe.
This place is authentic! Employees are friendly / helpful. Wide variety of ice cream, phosphates and flavorings. Limited food items like pulled pork. Pick up vintage candy, fresh nuts, milk, juice and bakery here too. Love the music! Scoop Deville is a hidden gem here in Southeastern Wisconsin. Come see for yourself! Hey scoop: Next year give out ice cream samples during promotional days like ladies night out and promote pints & quarts to go. Its too good to miss!
I think Scoop Deville is best ice cream shop because it has ice cream and candy. Also they have lots of different kind of ice cream, like blue moon and cookie dough. Some people might think Culvers is better but Scoop Deville has slushies and Cluvers does not. If you like Mickeys you might like Scoop Deville because they both have ice cream!
First time here as just moved to the area, came off recommendation from friends. Hopefully we receive better service next time. No waffle cones, they said they would make us some fresh though. They did,but gave them to the people who ordered after us. Our kids were nearly done with theirs at that point so I said forget it I didnt want to wait for fresh cones but still had to wait another several minutes just to pay them for the kids scoops. Busy or not, that isnt how you create a great customer experience. The kids enjoyed theirs, just wish I could have tried for myself.
Good time with the GRANDkidx!
Awesome delicious an great service!👍💜
Such a cool place with an old school atmosphere and delicious homemade ice cream!
Wide variety of ice cream, beverages and food. Only way to describe Scoop Deville, is that you have to visit it yourself.
Dominic is a very good worker. He deserves a raise
Always fun and flavorful, the homemade ice cream is a perfect excuse to visit downtown Hartford!
Great ice cream. Lots of flavors.
Recently got ice cream from Scoop Deville and it was great. Great ice cream and atmosphere.
Always a treat! 😝
Awesome, old fashioned ice cream shop
Not a better ice cream place than this one
One of the best places in Washington County, let alone in Wisconsin to get the best homemade ice cream. They also have many different items such as old fashioned candies and chocolates! Scoop Deville also features a very retro themed dining area and has some soups, and small sandwiches all homemade! Great place too bring kids and grab some a shake or cone!
Scoop Deville is my favorite ice cream place of all time. It has the most delicious chocolate ice cream I’ve ever tasted. I would rate it six out of five stars, but Google Maps does not allow that.
Best ice cream ever ☺️!
Enjoyed a great variety of ice cream products in a wonderful shop that reminds you of the past
Good old fashion shoppe!
Stood at counter at least 7 minutes before anyone checked me out. I understand you were busy but always have someone checking people out. Otherwise I love the retro candy and fresh baked cookies.
Great product and atmosphere, wonderful hand painted murals
An awesome staple to the Hartford community
Great spot for dessert 🍨 after eating at the Mineshaft. Great service and even better Ice Cream!!!
Great service excellent ice cream
I love everything about this place!
Nice place
Absolutely amazing homemade Ice cream! Is absolutely delicious. The BEST cookie dough ice cream I have EVER tried! They always have dozens of flavors, and many are very unique! Old fashioned candy thats very rare to come by, many desserts, and chocolates! SO GOOD! wish I could give it more than 5 stars!!! Oh and smells great inside... homemade waffle cones... oldies music playing... retro decor.... just love this place!!!!
Their ice cream is delicious! My daughter loved it and the ice cream shop is the cutest thing ever.
Best ice cream and candy around! Total nostalgia!
Its a wonderful place and they have a wonderful people that owns this place and hard workig people working here and very delicious ice cream and candy we love this place.
Super premium ice cream at its finest! All homemade ice cream and desserts. The 50s theme is great, as well as the old-fashioned candy.
My family has been going here for as long as I can remember. I thought it was about time I wrote a review!Scoop DeVille is such a treasure to Hartford. They have a wide array of ice cream flavors, and frequently add new ones. The ice cream is also made in the store! The owners and staff are always very friendly, and I love how they weigh their servings so its consistent. Its the perfect place to go with friends or family. Also, the 1950s theme is so great. This is definitely a must if youre passing through town!
A very cute n cozy throwback retro ice cream parlor. Here they make their own ice creams from scratch. And the prices are fair. I highly recommend them if youre in the area.
Customer service was great!
Looking for an old school ice-cream parlor and this did not dissapoint. Very cute, lots of options, kids loved it (1, 3, 5 and 7). Very clean and well lit too.
Fresh, high quality ice cream; cool nostalgic paintings, pics, & decor; friendly staff who manage large crowds with smiles & ease, and so much variety sure to please everyone in your party. Baked goods, milk, candy, some food & soup are all offered, but I never stray from the ice cream. The smell of their homemade waffle cones & waffle bowls sets the tone for an enjoyable experience. Its also comforting knowing each visit to this unique shop will be just as pleasant as the last.
Best Ice cream on the planet
TURTLE SUNDAES TO DIE FOR. FRiendly staff.
Im absolutely in love with this place. You can smell their homemade waffle cones down the block. Its intoxicating. Even while very busy, Im ways waited on in a timely manor. I will continue to be a regular customer!
This place is so fun. Plenty if sweet delicious treats. They have some thing for everyone when it comes to ice cream. They make their own waffle cones with a little marshmallow stopper on the end! There is also a sweet retro jukebox with all the old ice cream shop favorites.
Good ice cream. A bit pricey though. Had the chocolate waffle cone. Yummy! Highly recommend either the waffle cone or chocolate bowl! 👍
Had a good experience our first time here! Went for an after-Christmas-dinner treat. It was a great idea because all five of us ended up with a different variety of ice cream treat. The store was clean and well lit, the staff was extremely friendly, there were a plethora of options to choose from (candy, ice cream, malts, sundaes, sodas, etc.), and the prices were very affordable. Well be back!
Great place for reliving the past. Real 50s atmosphere. Great home made ice cream, hundreds of flavors, real soda fountain sodas and all the candies from your child hood if youre old enough to be from the late 40s or early 50s.Just a wonderful place to go and relax with friends.
Amazing oldies look. Old time candy, old time soda bottles and lots of ice cream flavors. Highly recommend.
Cool little shop to stop in every now and then. They have alot of different ice creams, and ALOT of different candy.
Not very good ice cream for a steep price. I will never come back. There’s a difference between nostalgia and just being old and outdated. If you’re going to advertise that you’re a 50’s style diner... I should feel it when I walk in.The employees weighed the ice cream before handing it over... I can only imagine that the owners are very stingy. Being really cheap is not a good look for any business.. Go over to the stand in Iron ridge for a good experience. Big helping of custard. I’d rather pay for that any day than what you get at scoop deville.
A television repairman suggested Id go there. Felt like dancing the entire time.
Cake batter flavor didnt taste like cake batter at all. Cool place though. Will give it another try sometime
Loved the homemade ice cream...great service, fun and friendly staff. Great family entertainment. One hidden gem was the jukebox with 4 plays for a quarter and with real records. Yes I know this is perhaps odd when reviewing an ice cream shop, however it speaks to the value and ambience of the location. In a day of smart phones and digital media, it helped create a memory as I explained to my 4 y/o son what a record was while he ate his ice cream cone. Looking forward to future visits.
Definently a great place for a quick lunch or a date. Candy, ice cream, and food.
