The sheet goods saw in the lumber department had an out of order sign, indicating that a new blade was needed. Doesnt The Home Depot sell saw blades? Is there not a single employee capable of changing a blade?I ended up setting up a saw station in the parking lot, using the abundant carts scattered throughout the parking. Luckily I had my cordless saw. And, I know how to install a new blade when one is needed.
I donβt know why I even went back there. Customer service is horrible. THIS time, there was the guy singing a passive-aggressive tune, as he passed, about me moving my cart to the left (to get out of his way, no less) instead of the right. Could have used his help but since he was more concerned with making snarky comments, I opted not to ask. There was the woman at self checkout that moved behind me and looked over my shoulder as I scanned, even though there were other people checking out as well. Do people regularly steal rulers and shovels? Were These the hot items that compelled her to single me out? Every time Iβve gone (and I try not to these days) employees are rude and unhelpful. Going to this particular HD is always uncomfortable. Iβm not very handy and I really never know what I need or am looking for, but I donβt feel I can ask here. Itβs almost like the customers are an inconvenience to the staff.

Needed portable AC, found it on Home Depot web site, paid for it and picked it up at the store. There was no waiting after I arrived, a polite young man brought it to my vehicle and informed me If for any reason I could bring it back in 30 days. Highly recommend this store and the service they provide.

I went to Home Depot looking for some shelf brackets. I stopped off to look at ceiling fans. An associate named Hugo at the Harlingen TX store spent quite some time explaining how to purchase the right size fan for what I was looking for. I learned a lot about fans and I really appreciate his patience and expertise. My fan was installed and it works great!!
I had not been to this particular location. Visiting my mom down here in the RGV and needed a few lawn supplies. Was having trouble locating spools for the weed eater. I wish Id remembered his name. Very nice, helpful young man. Honestly, its the first time, in any Home Depot that I could actually find someone to help!

Worst place to have stuff picked up waited for 2 hrs till someone was able to load me up. Lost so much time. Plus had to call in advance to let them know I was on the way. Last time for me.

Very poor customer service. I was at gardening at 8:10 am and still not open. Called store and girl who answered said you can come inside and pay. I stated im here in gardening, my items are in gardening and im parked over by gardening to make it easier to load. So i proceed inside, not 1 cashier at register. So, im forced to go to self check out. I ask for help from 2 store employees with gift card, she stated what do i need help with? I stated with gift card, if i didnt need help i wouldnt be asking for it. Basically she didnt help and i figured it out. The gossip was too juicy. Ive been a home depot shopper over Lowes for long time. I guess Im going to Lowes from now on.#VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NOT THE FIRST TIME, I HAD JUST ENOUGH FROM THIS STORE#π€π¦π€

Absolutely the WORST Home Depot in the continental United States. I made a purchase of over 1K and received the worst customer service in my life. I rented a green fiber machine that took forever to get ready for pickup, all the employees looked aggravated at helping me and nothing was ready for customer pickup. I took the machine home and voila! It doesnt even work! 3 hrs wasted - and the agitator doesnt work.The machine looks like it went to Iraq, no locking bars, agitator did not work, ghetto makeshift cables keeping the thing together and of course I still got charged the 250.00 for it. Youre a big box store but your rentals look disgraceful (see pics).I go return it the next day and all but I employee were unhelpful. The service desk refused to assist and sent me to contractor services who also seemed confused about where the return should happen.I am an injured 2x US Army Combat Veteran and lifelong resident of the RGV. Out of ALL the HDs Ive been in my life - this is hands down the worst. Im injured, I needed assistance carrying the machine and everybody acted like I was a burden. I ended up just carrying the heavy hose even though I just had surgery a week ago!The only helpful employee present was BLANCA from contractor services.Aside from that, an absolute disgrace!For all other Vets, just go to Lowes, at least they dont act like youre a burden on them. This business does not deserve your business.

Use to be caring associates but since they now hire all young ones the service has gone down. Not very knowledgeable people. But some are ok. One guy rolled his eyes at me when I asked a question like I was supposed to know what I was asking about stains. Other than that. Good store and prices. Love the Tough Sheds and being able to have that built and delivered for me. That was great service.

I enjoy coming to my local HD, I already know where everything is at. Its funny cause when I dont need help I can easily find a HD employee or they ask if I need help and I say no. BUT when I do need help they are all busy or nowhere to be found.

Honestly, everytime I visit the Harlingen, Texas store I go in with the mindset of, dont plan on getting any knowledgeable help. I only go there because I have a Home Depot card. I went in with the hopes of buying some wood stain to be dyed a certain color. The person at the paint department asked if I had the code for the color I wanted. I said no, they said they couldnt help me. I asked if they maybe had a catalog where I could find it. They said if its not by the stains then, there was no way they could find the color i wanted. I called the maker of the wood stain customers service and had them email a color code catalog to the store so I could get what I wanted. I literally did there job for them so I could complete my transaction. Sadness.
Went to browse..And staff was very friendly and helpful. The store was over all outstanding.

My year old Honda lawnmower has stoped working.I consulted with Home Depot since I had bought a 3 Year warranty for it. I was instructed to take it to a certain shop to be fixed. After being at the shop I went to check on it. It was quite a surprise to hear that HD had instructed them that they would not pay cause it was my fault. This goes to tell you, watch out when you buy a waranty for what you buy at Home Depot, cause they will not honor it like they did to me.Aurora
I asked 4 different workers for help no one took the time to help me 1 young lady was talking to a friend was very rude to me she said on 28 but I couldnt find it I told her she repeatedly to me on 28 and gave me a weird look, 1 guy from the that dept.started to help but the phone rang so that was more important. 1 said thats not my dept. Any way Im a retired of 42 years in retail management but never this poor service..in a long time. Not happy .with staff Lowes took the time to help.

Employees were everywhere but no one willing to help with the exception of the young man in paint department. Two employees were talking in the main isle and wouldnt budge as we passedwith a by with a loaded basket which resulted in the cart running over my husbands foot. Their response was only to say dont worry youre not hurt. He was hurt and we felt it was poor on the part of home depot employees.

I went in about 2:00 pm.I had a man working with me to purchase a complete bathroom set.He was so helpful I decided to return and purchase another 2500. Worth of home appliances.I had no help after purchasing, I waited for assistance loading into my truck, the people at the front desk knew I was waiting, I stood by the door for 45+ minutes, each time the someone was on their way out.4 days ago I attempted to get to change my order asking to install.4 days on hold for over an hour each.I will not go to this store again.They obviously dont think anything about the customers who have already checked out.I ended up having to load the truck on my own, toilets and shower stalls.I will look for better service somewhere else.
I feel very bad for Mona at the pro service section. The only one ever working everytime I go. So many workers hanging out standing around only self checkout is open and the people at the Pro service sitting talking laughing. You should have to spend nearly an hour in line. The manager needs to get on the ball. Thank goodness Mona is always there working
Dont come to this homedepot if you cant wear a mask. I have a medical condition that does not allow me to wear a mask and was told I would have to find somewhere esle to shop and to leave the building. I work all over the country and have not had a problem at any location until today. Sad to think that they will not let you get the items you need to do your job, so much for small businesses.

Waited bout 10 minutes in line because employee dont know he was doing I guess. Went to self check out. Some lady was waiting forever for customer assistance while the customer assistance guy saw she needed help her ignored her. Very unprofessional.
