I received a gift of assorted bon bons for Christmas. I was totally impressed, the quality, the creative way of packaging, and the beauty of the products. I will be gifting my friends. Everyone should know about these beauties. And no I did not share.

I love everything about this place, from the very high quality of their product, to their packaging to their overall brand. Theyre a staple of Detroit-made goods.

We had purchased chocolates from here before, and were thrilled at the wonderful and varied flavours of their offerings.On a separate occasion we headed back to get some more as a Christmas gift, but ended up arriving roughly 5 minutes after closing. They were locked up, but on seeing us kindly opened their doors and took our order. The service they offered was very appreciated and really sets these guys apart. The chocolates themselves were everything we remembered - at $3 each they arent inexpensive, but I can assure you they are well worth the investment.

Wonderful chocolate and helpful staff. Creative flavors with fresh ingredients. The chocolate is ethically sourced, which is great. The chocolate doesnt have preservatives, so dont let it sit around.

My niece is 4 and obsessed with chocolate, so I took her here as a special treat. I already knew the magic of this place, but it became even more clear after our experience together. The staff treated us so kindly, and entertained my niece with so much chocolate and sticker sweetness. After we left she told me how proud she was of herself for not being shy because the girls inside were so nice. So Bon Bon Bon, thank you for creating such a special experience for a 4 year old chocoholic. And of course, the chocolates were as good as ever—Louise and I recommend the S’mores and Bumpy!

My husband and I wanted a fun alternative to a wedding cake for our wedding earlier this year, so decided to serve our guests treats from Bon Bon Bon instead and are so glad we did. We contacted their team a few months ahead of our wedding date and had a great time tasting a ton of their recipes before making our final choices. At that point, one of our selections was no longer in rotation, but the amazing team went ahead and made it for us anyway. The bons were a big hit with all of our wedding guests, and their packaging was super fun too. And we were especially glad we ordered extra so we could enjoy them for weeks after our big day! :)

Excellent specialty handcrafted chocolates and unique packaging. They are simply divine and surprisingly many of the locals dont know this business exists. BTW, they have a Detroit location as well.

This review is long overdue! Bon Bon Bon is an outrageously creative product of the highest quality. Of course I enjoy having Bon Bon Bons all to myself, but mostly give them as gifts - because they make the BEST gifts. When people open them up, the packing.. the flavor collections.. these bons are a huge hit to all.Owner Alex has always been incredibly kind and personable, I couldnt think of a better individual/company to support.

Incredible. I had a great conversation with the person working there. I learned a lot about the passion and love that went into opening the store. Then I bought a lot of bonbons. The choices are insane. They are flavor-packed, $3 slices of heaven. I want to eat all of them.

When I visited this place last week I was amazed by the customer service I received. There were so many great choices that Alex helped me pick out, and they all tasted fantastic. I will definitely be returning and recommending this place to my friends. This is also be a great gift idea! I picked up a couple boxes for my parents anniversary and they loved them.

The fat kid who works here treated me like I just stepped out of a UFO. I never went back because he was just so rude. Which is a shame because I was at another establishment and sampled the vegan bonbons they make here and I was so wildly impressed with how good they were. Unfortunately when I went there they didnt have any vegan bonbons, so I cant honestly say I liked my experience there.

Hamtramcks only chocolatier and the only one we need because they are the best. Since Alexandra opened her new location the honey bee population in my flower garden has skyrocketed 1000% because she has bee hives on her roof. This is great! I keep trying to photograph the bees and tell them to tell her Hi.

Where do I start? The chocolates are fantastic. If youre in the neighborhood stop in and order a Hot Mess, you wont be disappointed. I ordered the Valentines box for my fiancée and she loved it. The packaging is unique and efficient, their website is great, I love that they offer classes if you want to learn to make bon bons, and every time Ive stopped by Ive been provided great service. If youre in the Detroit metro area make sure to check out what the Babes Babes Babes are doing over at Bon Bon Bon, because its great great great!

2/6/2019 Update: Alexandra reached out to me and we have worked together to ensure steps have been taken so that anyone, regardless of disability, can now access their location. The fault is with Hamtramck building code enforcement, which could be opening several Hamtramck businesses to lawsuits by not informing or enforcing federal ADA laws.Original review:My wife and I love Bon Bon Bon and have been stopping in since their days when they were just a tiny shop in Hamtramck. We love all their chocolates and it makes for a great gift.Unfortunately, this new location in Hamtramck was a huge disappointment. Its such a simple retail front that they clearly put a lot of time and money into, but they did everything without regard to wheelchair accessiblity.Their front door has a step even though theres massive space for a ramp entry, so if my wife (who uses a wheelchair) didnt have me with her, there would be no way for her to enter or exit the building safely.All of their countertops are far above the ADA height for counters, which is 28-34. The staff was pleasant and apologetic, but it meant I had to take all the name placards for the bon bons down do my wife could see what she was buying.All in all, this seems like just typical lack of inclusion from the new Detroit businesses combined with a lack of code enforcement from the city of Hamtramck. I hope to see this improved or fixed in the future when I can someday rewrite this review.

This is an adorable artisan chocolate shop in Hamtramck. Their branding is so cool, and you will receive your bon bon in a wonderful little box. There are an array of flavors ranging from traditional to new, interesting, and innovative. I tried an Earl Gray bon bon and it was lovely. Definitely a special treat.
