Place is semi organized. Things do go out of stock and stay that way for a bit. Not sure because there is a delay in shipments or because employees arent quick with stocking. Most cashiers are nice with the exception of few. There are some things that need to be improved on to make this place a better plave but over all, its okish.

Two stars because the place is always a mess and the shelves are never stocked. But if I could give 5 Stars to the cashiers I would. The folks that work here are always friendly. I used to try and learn all their names cause I shop at this store every week but unfortunately I stopped doing that because the employee turnover is so high.Management or corporate, maybe both, clearly under pay and under value the people that work here which is why turnover is painfully high. With such high turnover you cant keep the place clean and well stocked.

I give this a 2 star because the store is really messy and they always have nothing in stock this is the most HORRIBLE dollar general in metro detroit like cmon....

Being well organized is very important however Dollar General missed the mark on this🤔Tips: make sure your floor are mopped, Make sure your customers could walk through the store without stepping over the merchandise and Make sure your store smell clean. I had to give this particular location 2stars base on what Ive seen on Sunday. I will say this Dollar General had everything I was looking for and the customer service was great.

First time there, was impressed with the cleanliness and organization of the store, well stocked, courteous associates, good selection. (Cleanliness Im addressing clear aisles, no stock on floor, easy access to products, shelves well organized and stocked)

The deals are super amazing. You can get chips, candy, drinks, and other products for cheap. 😁

If I could give negative stars I would. Rude employees, very disgusting environment, dirty, no organization

When, I walked into the store it was a mess. But, I found a mens belt that was my size, and the cashier was very friendly.I remember when it was a Family Dollar, back in the day.

Crowded isles could not see the products to purchase do to the stacks of crates and dollies in isles. Which is common in this area for Dollar General stores.

They have alot of food and snacks for good prices. Good hygiene products. Decent employees who have always been nice to me.

It was okay alot of the food was no good because they out the old in front of the new and that is not good for the customer. All in all the store is great

Dollar tree is my store! I freaking LOVE that place. It like a cheaper version of walmart. Super cheap and a lot of amazing finds. The get A LOT of inventory so be prepared for a lot of boxes around. Pretty good size and service is fast enough.

Its an ok Dollar General. Ive been in multiple times and sometimes an entire section looks out of stock. The pop section is not very good. They have a tiny selection of diet pop, only 4 options in a two liter.This is one of the better places locally if you are looking for name brand processed foods though.

Everything is Generally a dollar. Lol hence the name !! This particular dollar General was cleaner than most Ive seen in the metro detroit area. Also, all the floor employees asked if I was finding everything ok. Which was a shocker coming from the last dollar General on S.B Woodward just South of Clairmont that store was as Ghetto and trashy as any store could be. So if was to say the least refreshing to shop at this location.

I love the products& i find all items im looking for.12.3.2019!! Went in had basket full of things!! The line was very long!! Only one cashier was at desk!!! I left as well as other ppl!! I asked the cashier could she call for help!! She looked at me never answered very rude!! Im not gonna spend my money!! Where its nasty attitude cashiers got bad back already!! Sad!!

Right now all of their Christmas items are 70% off and since that holiday isnt widely celebrated in that area there is a lot of stuff. I mostly purchased winter items like tins with snowmen on them. 1¢ and 30¢

Dont go here. Even if u have to go here. Nothing is stocked properly. The associates are incompetent. The food is often expired. Avoid as much as possible!

Poor customer service and always one cashier and long line. Thought perhaps by it being just opening recently maybe that had something to do with it but nope that is the normal I guess! Been four different days, different times and same poor service and long slow line!

Very messy boxes everywhere. Can only get one cart down the aisle. Great products just packed in a small space. Still happy with purchase.

Shop there the store was nice and clean and organized cashier was pretty nice so yes I was shopping and yes I would go back.

Misguided advertising sales prices at this location. I was at checkout for cat litter and they wanted to add additional sales taxes. When I questioned that the litter was sitting on their side-floating-panel marked for $1.00 it should ring up for 1.06 not 1.36.The Cashier tried to say their distributors placed it in the wrong place. However, their distributors couldnt place rows and rows of cat litter in the wrong place with the matching labels on the panel. Somebody is lying here. Nevertheless, other items are marked up much higher than other Dollar General Stores. Idk this could be a franchised store.

Got the last pepsis left. Said they deliver tommorrow.

I went to this dollar general yesterday. I went in with my uncle and he held my line for me, when I returned as he got closer to the cashier- someone in the line said I cant get in front like that. I told them I was with him and everyone became extremely heated up. They said I was speaking my Muslim language and not today in america and threw many offensive racist comments toward me as well as profanity. There were two very inexperienced cashiers who didnt even look up to speak to me and instead forced me to go to the back of the line. There was no security and no professionalism. The cashier continued to let a few people just entering the line go ahead of me. I was left with no room to speak.

Store was very disorganized but I was able to find some decent items. I went back the following week and the staff I encountered were very helpful in locating the items I was looking for.

Wide variety of foods and products, at the right price. Has a parking lot next to it. Quick in and out usually.

Staff is ok, I dont like the area, can be cluttered inside due customers rummage through items like a winter storm is coming.

Every time I go in this place it is always stuff in the aisle. It is like it is stock day every day. I really like Dollar General but this location I try to avoid at all cost. It is always a mess. The one I like going to is on Davison and Conant. 3812 E Davison St, Detroit, MI 48212, this location is the one to go to. Maybe this one in Hamtramck could get some pointers from them.
