Went in this store to get some hair products for my daughter. The girl who was working the floor was very nice and helped us find everything we needed. When we got to the register everything went down hill. I guess she was hot from all that makeup on her face but she had poor customer service. She never spoke a word and then pointed at the register for me to see my total instead of telling me my total. After paying I said have a nice day and she still said nothing. As we were walking out,I asked the girl on the floor did she talk, she smiled and said yea and I said she has poor customer service and thats bad for yall business. She said I understand. I will never go to that store again

They had a great selection but the customer service was bad. The African woman is the worst. She acts frustrated when you cant understand through her thick accent. And they do follow you like youre stealing but all of these kinds of store hair stores do that if you know what I mean. Ill still shop there if they ever reopen because they usually had what I wanted. And since I dont steal they can follow me around the store all day.

Thought I hate visiting most beauty supply stores I must say that this one carried a large selection of products. Unfortunately, it recently burned down. Not sure if or when they will return.

Began shopping here in 2011 because I worked at a salon very close to this store. They have the best selection of products. I have always been satisfied with my purchases as well as clients purchases of hair. Black soap. Lemongrass soap. Shea butter.are some things I have faithfully purchased from this store as well as appliances for hair. I have never come here and could not purchase what I needed to buy. The owners are a couple they have always been respectful courteous helpful and kind to me Always receive the cosmetologist discount. I’ll always shop here as a local resident matter of fact I am going soon today lmbo

Best place for hair products and a cheap wig that dont shed too much. The two youngs ladies helped out tremendously. Great shop.

Went for the first time, bought 2 wigs and got discounts on both. However, workers need to be more friendly and helpful. Observed one looking at her phone, she never offered assistance, the other one was more friendly. Not sure if I would return, will go further down the street to the 5 star black own beauty that people are ranting postively about.

Sold me a thin human wig for 200 from jk trading company. These hair supply stores are a rip off I spend ALOT of money here. I want my money back I think I’m actually done with this hair store they need to consider the quality that they are selling since it’s a pandemic and can’t try them on I’m DONE will not be going back

This store is amazing great prices, great people that work there. And they make you feel welcomed!! Everyone go check them out. One of the workers there helped my daughter and taught her about lashes, and helped us pick out an awesome wig!! 😂😂.

Eh... its like they expect everyone to steal something so you can leave one aisle and surprise! There is that same person. Then the guy at the front (pretty sure he is the owner) is constantly looking at the ridiculous amount of cameras placed around the store. Dont recommend this one. Been yo several others with my wife and this one is more on your back when shopping here

Ladys that work the floor were kind of off Standish,yes they have a lot of wigs but for me the colors werent right to many black wigs and a lot of short wigs but color was not right for me

If it wasnt for the African women that work in that store I wouldnt give it two Stars, they seem to be the most helpful. The owners dont have time to answer your questions they just want to rush you to the cash register

Very clean store and fully stocked. There was lots to choose from in all merchandise. They carry everything for beauty including jewelry and some clothing.

Beautiful hairs! And I was helped when trying 2 of them on. But I have heard from the neighborhood about the crime happening around there so Im a little scared to drive back out there. The wigs are affordable, well priced.

I always find what I am looking for. They also have great low prices. The only problem is I am a dark skin tall male and every time I go all of the workers stare at me and even sometimes follow me🙁

Good selection. Had a question at checkout the lady ringing up the customers couldnt understand at all what I was asking. Lost a sale because I couldnt find what I was looking for and she couldnt understand.

Isolated incident:Ive been a loyal customer since their grand opening. Unfortunately, I was racially profiled on my last visit by the store owner.I was asked in front of my kids did I recognize a woman with the same headgear on... the picture I was questioned about was of a women of the same complexion with the same patterned head covering, who had stolen. The store owner implied that I could possibly be this thief since obviously, we looked the same. I stated: No, I do not know this person nor I am this person. I did not receive an apology nor did he shown any sign remorse.

What can I say. I guess a good thing has to come to an end. I have been shopping with this store since 2002. They were a small store on Mercury. The service now is cold and terrible. If youre not Nigerian or ghetto, the new wig person will not acknowledge you. The owners are so nonchalant and cold. 고맙습니다 (Thank you) for the experience. I will not be back for another one.

I asked a staff member if they carried a product and they directed me to another staff member. When I asked that staff member they asked me who sent me to them. #EpicFailAfter explaining to the worker that her co-worker told me to ask her she walked me to the same place where I already looked and told me, no, thats all we have. No attempt to even look in the back or ask the actual owner or manager. SMH.

The store is big with a lot of options. The braiding hair is limited as well as crochet faux ol locs. The Asuans people are friendly and very helpful. Even though they watch you like a hawk lol. The African women that work there are very short and pushy. They try to make you buy something you do not want. They need to improve on their interpersonal skills. They just hired a few new Americans who are very pleasant and very helpful and relatable. Overall it is a great place to shop!

I made a purchase here and two days later checked my bank statement and noticed they overcharged me $50 dollars. I went back into the store with my receipts and tried to explain to the owner. Her english was all of a sudden way worse than when I first entered the store. We viewed the surveillance tape and clearly saw that it was their mistake. Now Im filing claims with my bank and going through too much when she could have just opened her cash register and returned my money. Needless to say, theyve just lost a very valuable customer!

I didnt find what I wanted, and the customer service wasnt great. I stopped to ask an associate, did they have an certain item, and the associate who was down in the aisle, came over while I was looking which I found something, but not what I wanted, said quote Can I go back to what I was doing? What kind of customer service was that? Appletree Management train your employees in how to be professional verbally and show some etiquette while speaking to a customer.

Horrible customer service. Make sure to check the wig package you wanted before they put it behind the counter for you to purchase because they will put the wrong pouch behind the counter, let you purchase it, then put the blame on you and you will not be able to make a return (I had the wig w/ the receipt and barcode on bag and tried to bring it back less than 24hrs after purchase) I didn’t get an exchange or my money back because one of the little tags was missing.
