This is one of my go-to grocery stores for the healthier choice foods. Larger than other grocery stores with multiple good priced items to choose from.Also has a great little flower section with home decor !

Never great. Never bad until today. Had two registers open and 30+ people in line. Went to Winn Dixie down the street 30 seconds later and it had 6 lanes open.

I can write a book about Albertsons in the people who work there. Hands down people friendly willing to help there customers out with whatever. This is one of my favorite stores down here. Mr. Kevin a long with the other managers are Awesome here too.

I really liked that they had their express lane open. If you had 7 items or less you could check out in a timely fashion. Even after hurricane Ida the store was well stocked.

I have been looking for several idems from the beginning of September till I checked out this store and where Ive been able to find none I was able to purchase 5 each of impossible to find things. I was surprised that they were cheaper than what I was use to paying and the fact I was able to get help before even getting into the store from a busy man changing trashcan he stopped went inside and got me a motorized buggy. The young lady who checked my purchases out was very plesent and helpful and when I was on my way out I was met with the same gentleman who had helped me when I arrived he was right by my side to my vehicle put my things in an took the motorized buggy back inside without me asking and was pleasant conversation the entire time. Im not use to such customer service in any other stores in Hammond La I actually drive toward Walker La or Denham Springs La because the customer service is so much better for me to go that much farther from home. I will be shopping here as long as the service and pricing remains to be as surprisingly good as I experienced this trip.

5:30 in the evening, one of the busiest times for a grocery store. Only 3 lanes open and long lines at each. No self checkout open. Manager standing around chatting with someone instead of opening another register. Put my stuff down and left.

The store was stocked well for having a hurricane on its way. The only complaint and it is a BIG complaint. The bathrooms inside the store were atrocious!! It was almost unusable. There is no reason to have the bathrooms in that shape.

This store carries so much good stuff, couldnt find certain things at Walmart but found it in Albertsons. Ill be shopping here more frequently!

Great place to shop especially when the seal paper comes out I don’t know how they do it but we racked up on a whole basket full of green tea for $.50 a bottle

The seafood prices are not what I expected, they were higher than usual. Vitamin prices were kinda of high too. But I found herbal tea that was recommended for my diet. They have a large variety, different brands and flavors. Theyre delicious and the was reasonably, cheap for some.

They have a Beautiful produce department... As Ive come to almost expect from Albertsons stores. I usually find Fantastic butchers sales. This store in particular had a wine and spirits department that would give Churchills a run for their money.And theres the French bread... Warm, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside.... Mine almost never makes home intact

Best produce in town. Some folks seem like theyd rather you shop somewhere else though. Cars park by the door in the fire lane smoking, blasting their music waiting for someone to come out. Excellent produce and deals though.

As soon as I enter the worker greeted me an wiped off my basket. Fast customer service and all workers had on a mask. Thanks to all Albertsons employees for staying safe and protecting the customers.

We no longer have Albertsons in Florida. So it was a shock to see one again, because word on the street was, they went out of business. This store was aesthetically very pleasing. Everything looked clean and in order. I forgot what I got there, that day. But whatever it was, it was very affordable, just like I remember back home.

The staff and management go above and beyond to clean and sanitize. And have positive attitudes. They carry many of the food items we had to go to Whole Foods for. They are a convenient and easy choice when it comes to groceries and healthy eating choices.

Nice grocery store. Fresh produce. Great floral selection. When checking out, Lines are incredibly long, which is typical. There are no self check out lanes, so just be aware that theres no quick run in and out of store.

I was look for a certain product that Albertsons has in their Distribution Center. The Manager at the Hammond location said he couldnt order what I was requesting. The store is only allowed to receive whats shipped by the DC. Whatever happened to customer satisfaction. Thats the purpose of having a DC.

Easier to get in and out than Walmart... they have everything you need grocery wise.

I am a weekly shopper at Albertsons. I shop many sales at multiple stores but the majority of my groceries at Albertsons.I take advantage of the app for savings and loved the monopoly game and rewards system. I probably have gotten $200 or more in free product from the game and free app products and rewards. A lot of the frequently instant winning pieces were great Pantry Staples.The few issues Ive had in store have been addressed professionally and quickly by both staff and management. Ive never had an employee not be able to answer a question or tell me where a product is located, often times they walk me there to be sure.Produce is fresh and well priced. Meat selection is good. Dairy is well stocked and the rotation sales of butter, milk, cheese is fantastic.Cashiers are friendly and always helpful and smiling .

Has variety and food items that you cant find at other supermarkets. The costs are good.

Total makeover of the store. Very niceManager Kevin Brunelle is friendly, helpful and eager to assist. I am gluten free and have a wheat allergy. Kevin showed us several new gluten free products and shared his favorites with us this morning. He asked if there were any products we like or was looking for and there were two. He immediately contacted his suppliers and asked them to add them to be stocked. Good prices, too. As foe the Pharmacy, best pharmacy we have ever used. No waiting in lines, pharmacy has an App and also sends texts to notify when your prescriptions are ready. Also get the Albertsons Grocery App and save a lots of money!!

Albertsons is always a good place to shop. Reasonable prices, good selection, and courteous staff.

I Love Albertsons! They have the best prices on Meat and I love their steamed snow and dungeness crabs also. Wonderful selection of veggies and fruit too. Theres nothing bad to say about the store. I find certain things kind of pricey, but all stores are that way.

I try not to shop at this Albertsons. The employees tend to favor other customers (darker) skin color over mine, its not blatant but obvious. The store is clean and typical of an Albertsons.Winn Dixie seems to treat all skin colors the same.

Friendly atmosphere

I enjoy this store. I think its clean, well organized and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable about their store.

With liking to cook a nice, expensive meal like Beef Wellington once very few months, I have found that Albertsons is the only store in Hammond where I can get great quality, hard to find items. The butcher in the meat department is more than willing to go out of his way to help you find the perfect cut of meat at the best price. I will definitely go back when Im wanting to cook this meal again or try something new.

Overpriced.Store clean.A gallon of milk is $5.Small deli selection.Small pasta selection and mostly specialty pastas.Meats high. Bought 2 for 1 pork steaks yesterday and the least expensive pack was $9.27 for 5 chops.Large cereal selection but overpriced.6 have filled bags costed me $70.Location not convenient. No locations anymore in St Tammany Parish.

I have just moved to Louisiana. I only eat one kind of jam it is a sugar free red raspberry. I have gone to 3 different Wal-Mart and a couple of other stores. Well today we just decided to stop by here and just look. I could not believe it they actually had my jam. I bought a jar and a couple of other things but have now decided that i will continue to shop this store. Thank you Albertsons.

We live across the MS line . Everytime we are in Hammond we stop. Love the selections of fresh produce, breads and general grocery. Best part is the deli... Love the fact I can get fresh meats!

I like this Albertsons, I just wish it was closer to where I live. Albertsons is a dying breed in southwest Louisiana, the closest to where I live is this store, which is over 30 miles away.

They finally remodeled the bathrooms!! They used to have the grossest bathroom in all of Hammond. Now it is better!

Good choice to buy

Went there this morning to buy sno crabs. Their were 3 (white)men in a huddle talking that work for Albertsons in the Seafood dept and I stood there for about a minute listening and making eye contact with 2 of the 3. As another customer approached the 3 guys still made no effort to say HEY HI OR HELLO, let alone acknowledge our presence. I confronted them and things went left. The big guy walked over to me with an attitude as if I disturbed him while asleep. The other guy employee who made it known that he was not on the clock at the time became very irate as much to profanity to express he didn’t care that we were waiting for help. As an employee of any business rather you’re on the clock or not you’re still representing that employer.

This store has more choice than other local stores. Their produce is fresh, but costs more than Walmart. I buy most of my produce here, and visit the store a couple times a week.

Great deals and associates very helpful

Just ran in at Albertsons. The nicest lady checked me out. My receipt says her name is Debra. She had great energy, was fast, communicated with me. She yawned. I yawned. We laughed. I said “I hope you get to go home soon and get some rest.” Her reply, “I just got back. I was here this morning and I’m working a double.” But y’all she was still sweet and happy. If you go in Albertsons, look for Debra. Smile at her. Talk to her. She’s pleasant to be around. I left. Got in my car and am going home to spend a nice night with friends. My bills are paid. I’ve got groceries. A great job. I’m not working a double today. And who knows what struggles Debra might have.I hope she sees this post and knows she’s cemented in my heart. She made me think of the days when my momma worked her tail off for us. Just when you think you’ve had a bad day or you’ve got problems you meet someone God uses to send you a message.Hammond Albertsons Debra, thank you for your work ethic. Thank you for being nice. Only store in town that you can get a keg of beer on the drop of a dime. Downside is it takes too long for them to process the swap. They need a better, faster system than the one they are using.

Love the new layout design of the entirestore _ some items are a little pricey, especially the wine! Overall, a good shopping experience...
