Breakfast is always great . The waitress in the window always has a smile.

A great friendly place for breakfast or donuts. The drive thru employee had a big smile and was super nice. The kolaches and donuts were hot and fresh.

So I waited 30 mins in the drive thru to finally place my order which is fine I don’t mind waiting. Finally I place my order and the young lady at the window tells me to pull into a parking spot so they can prepare my food. I do as she ask and I wait. About 15 mins later she walks out and hands me my food and she apologizes for the wait and I respond no it’s okay I understand. I get my food don’t think twice and go home. I get home and I only have half of my order. So I’m upset obviously because I paid to my entire order. I tried to call the place no answer so I decided to drive back up there. I get back to the drive thru and ask the young lady if she remembered me she said I think so I proceeded to tell her that she wasn’t the one who took my order it was another young lady. The young lady that took my order asks me what’s wrong I said you didn’t give me my full order you only gave me half. Instead of apologizing she proceeds to tell me oh yeah you left without it! I told her no ma’am you never gave it to me. Nor did she tell me I needed to wait another minute. She hands the other girl the rest of my order rolls her eyes and walks away. The other young lady at the window apologized on her behalf.

Great food! Cant beat the prices! Friendly service! Did I mention Donuts!? Yeah, who doesnt love a good donut!? Oh, and theres even a drive-thru for days when youre in a hurry and cant sit down to eat!

I order donut holes. They were fresh and enjoyable. I was excited to hear that they have true New Orleans style Eclaires. Meaning filled w/chocolate instead of vanilla. Ill be getting those next time I visit.

Ive only ever ordered from them through waitr, so I cant speak for their in-restaurant service as I have never been there, however the food is always good when we order it and the few times Ive had to call to either compliment something or request a replacement or refund for something missing, the staff was always beyond helpful and kind.

Only thing ive ever gotten(talking about first time includingng) today ever period at this place was my order taken.... waited for close to an hr the cashier was outside flirting with an (girl) trying to reach the manager owner now the phone wont pick up.... drive through steady running fast parking lot steady becoming even mre empty

Came in to get donuts for work. There was a 10/15 minute wait because someone had just bought them out. No problem. They convinced me to get breakfast while I was waiting, oh my gosh it was delicious. On top of the great food, the service was phenomenal!!! First time there, but I will definitely be back.

Great service. The ladies were nice. It was packed in there. Not complaining about it, but Im sure the business would love to grow into somewhere bigger(expand). This was my first visit and it was great. I got the two sausage and cheese croissants with some donut holes. I had to give one croissant to a co-worker because the first one filled me up. I will definitely be back. I would like to try the lunch items out.

Great place for breakfast and the doughnuts are amazing. The staff is always really friendly and they strive to make sure your food is to your satisfaction. Much better than the majority of the other local breakfast places.

I looked at the reviews online which was great, and I wanted to try the restaurant out. I ordered two glaze donuts one sausage biscuit and a coke. My total was 7.61 I didnt think that was bad at all until I received my order. My donuts extremely small my coke was flat. I could have went to McDonalds for much cheaper. I will not be a returning customer...

University Donuts is awesome. The wait staff are incredible and they know my grandmothers name and always bring her lots of coffee. :) I love this place. I always go when Im in town.

Amazing little restaurant so close to SLU. Only ordered a few donuts for myself and kids but looked over the rest of the menu and my goodness, we are going back to try more. Staff is wonderful and prices fit a budgeting family. Definitely make the stop.

Decent prices if you don’t get a ton of add ons like cheese and substitutions. Waitress asked if we were hungover because we drank a lot of water. And she commented that we were hungry hungry when ordering, which seems like a dumb thing to say to people about to tip you based on how much money they spend. I ordered the professor, which is a beef patty with eggs, hash browns, and biscuit. I thought it would be made into a hash or something. But it was a burger patty on one plate with the other stuff in the other. Was a very good value, but a little strange.

The staff are great and the donuts are good but the real jewel is that they serve a great breakfast and lunch and the prices are really reasonable. The coffee is also brewed well. They close by 1:30 p.m. so give them a try if you havent or maybe a second visit if its been awhile. I would guess that this started out as a donut shop and later added the cafe style diner simply because the name, University Donuts implies it, but I am glad they are here. Im a fan of the bisquits and gravy with sausage. Only suggestion I can think of is maybe add in a little more sausage in the gravy but it aint no deal killer. Bon Appetite

Bought a dozen donuts at 11am and they were terrible.FIRST of all there was so little sugar on the glazed that they looked like day old donuts from Walmart.SECOND is that I could taste a burnt flavor in the actual donut.Third is that the chocolate covered donuts was really odd because the chocolate was not secure on donut because it slid off the donut. I have never experienced this on a chocolate covered donut.I called and talked to a female initially and she passed the phone to a male while complaining about my complaint. She pre determined me as being wrong. When the male got on phone and I started telling him the problem he preceded to tell me that he glazed the donuts himself. He asked me to bring them back but I was far away enough not wanting to go back. Never again will I buy from there again.

The people and the food are wonderful. Always feel like family being there. Homecooked meals and a great atmosphere. Everyone should stop if in Hammond Louisiana

This place is great! I used to eat at waffle house but this place has more small town charm. The prices are good, the owners are super nice, and the food is great! Never had a bad breakfast or doughnut here, unlike what the other review says. They are only open for breakfast and lunch. I go at least every weekend with the family

Dont let the name fool you, the food is amazing. They have one of the best roast beef poboys you will find and lets not forget the A+ casserole.

Food was served cold!

First experience: Closed earlier than 1:30 (which is the time indicated online as their closing time on a friday) We arrived there before 1pm. Manager (sitting outside, store locked up and lights off) told us we shouldve come earlier if we wanted something. Yet to decide if we want to go back to try anything due to rude behavior.

Saw all the good reviews, figured Id drive thru for some donuts and a few cin-a-buns. Had to do the whole pull up and well bring it to you motion only to receive less than room temperature food. Not to mention the few employees I saw didnt look like they wanted to be there at all. Maybe I got them on a bad day, but first impressions mean everything.
