I called to verify, and the Google page even says 7 pm. Its 6:01 and Im in desperate need of my glasses for work, and the doors are locked. I dont mind that they closed, but why lie to me? You guys definitely lost a long time customer. Welp to off to Americas best!
I was seen here on a Wednesday they were really busy. The young lady who took me back i believe her name was Shantell, she was the blonde was super helpful and helped me every step of the way. I would recommend this place to anyone. I also really liked the doctor and had a good experience with her. Thank you
Terrible! Every time I have an appointment why does it take me 30 minutes to be seen ESPECIALLY when early or on time. The desk workers are not even hospitable, the customer service is wack! The best thing they did was have 1 hour glasses, and quick replacements. But then again it’s not quick cause no one helps you when you walk in!
Not such good customer serive. When asked to send a fax to another office, didnt get done when I was told in would be done in a few minutes. I ended up having to drive to pick it up and have them fax it! Still asked me to wait!!!!! Never will I go there or recommend this place. Girls get your priorities straight Im still a customer
I had an emergency situation and the eye doctor and his assistant were AMAZING! They got me in right when I called and helped me with my eye situation. I will definitely be back.
$170 for an eye exam, enough said. Companies like this should have their prices displayed. I had no shame canceling my appointment while in the office and I overheard another customer asking the price of the exam. The shame I do have is not asking the price over the phone in the first place. Also the frames are not marked with prices as well. I can only imagine the cost. Quality eye exams should not be this much. Outrageous! $$$$$$$
Every time i come here the girl with the red hair is so rude and rolls her eyes. i always have a bad experience with her i dont know how she still has her jobs shes not nice to customers the lady who took care of me helped me pick glasses was extremely sweet the only reason i gave 3 stars was because of the experience i have with the red head every single time
I had an eye exam done here and the doctor was quick, and professional. I really like the staff here! They are very vibrant & friendly. I am actually transgender and in the process of changing my name. They were very respectful & warm about about my preferred name! It was nice to not get a hard time or weird looks. Thanks guys!

I absolutely LOVE it here! They are all very professional and nice. The ladies here are the bomb!!! They go above and beyond to help you and make sure you are satisfied with your glasses. I NEVER have a problem here. It is a warm family atmosphere. Over all my experience here is ALWAYS great!
Very bad service from secretaries and the management. Nasty stuck up attitudes from everyone. I came in to see if I could get a replacement glasses because they broke. I explained them how they broke and everything and that I had to super glue them so I could continue wearing them. The secretary called her manager and told her about it and she said the glasses look fine, that I don’t need a replacement. Like really?
Nice people but, management is in disarray,nobody ever knows what’s going on .....screwed my order over and my daughters. We waited months for eye wear that never came. And I was also overcharged for my frames. NEVER AGAIN

My husband had listed hes glasses and needed to replace them. We were quickly taken care of by the staff. In about 1 hour, new glasses!!

This location has always been pleasant and patient with my children and I. Thorough exams are given and were never there long.
The eye dr was awesome and Tim is great! But the girls that work at the front have terrible attitudes. She flat out told me that on Friday morning when I was there she was declining my call because is wasnt 9am yet. I was calling so early because I was an emergency and I wanted to ask if I could be seen. She never answered the phone I told her it’s a medical office you have to answer the phones for patients. I wish I would have gotten her name not that it matters almost all of the front desk girl have attitudes every time I’ve been there. I’m only giving this place 3 stars because of the dr and Tim if it weren’t for them this place would be getting no stars. The girls up front are trash and don’t know how to work in a medical office!
Customer service is terrible. I had a 10am appointment wasnt called to see doctor until 11:20am. I was the first person there and the last to be called. I asked what was taking so long? Response was looking up my insurance i doubt if it took over an hour. They had my info from last year on file the only thing was a change in insurance. Was very upset with the wait time

This place is horrid four girls at the desk and it took over an hour past our appointment just to get stuff done. Afterwards no one walks with you to choose glasses no recommends no explanation of which frames should fit your face or which frames are for his or hers. No one helped us try any glasses on to make sure they fit. Basically they just tell you here’s where you can pick from and they just walk away. I have a problem seeing close and further away. I was told I was just having a problem seeing further but now when I put the glasses it’s even worst to see up close. Go somewhere else because I’m pretty sure I got the wrong prescription as I’m reading this is an occurrence there.
I have known and worked with Alex and Kathy for a number of years. Very knowledgeable, straight to the point and honest. I would and have highly recommended them to both friends and family.

I left my phone number with them for them to call me whenever my glasses and contacts were done but they NEVER called me. I had to call them. Then I was told I owed money from the previous years exam. Like why wasn’t I told about this the year that I had gone? Then they told me a manager will get back to me to look further into things. Done going to this place. They’re not consistent at all and won’t bother to follow up with you.
Mother in law absolutely had worst experience ever. Not only was she over charged. She did not get what she thought she was paying for. I have also bad experience with vision quest in past and will never give my buisness to any vision quest. Go elsewhere.
Good doctors. My questions about my vision and my daughters were answered in detail clearly. Wide selection of glasses. Person assisting with selection of glasses at that time was not that helpful and reception that day was more into her Facebook page and kinda short with me verbally. But what Really counted to us was the Eye Exam and how the Doctor treated my daughter and I.
The assistants in the front desk are very nice. The optometrists are very knowledgeable. I have been here before and each doctor has their own personalities but all have your eye health in their best interest. I believe that there are some areas for improvement. They need to slow down when it comes to confirming the eye exam prescription. Make sure you don’t leave without confirming the prescription with both eyes open. Eyes are strained when closing one eye.
If I could rate a zero I would! DO NOT come here! Very unprofessional and beyond RUDE! If you have any complaints there is no one to complain to. When you ask for the manager their response is that they are not available. You ask when do you expect them in and their response is I dont know what!!! Call the main location and no return phone calls. I have insurance coverage through my employer yet you are treated like they are doing you a favor. They claim to call you when you the glasses are ready and they do not. They do not even input the correct information in their computers. I have given them a chance and yet they have not improved nor provided a service one pays for. Buyers BEWARE!
I like to think of myself as a fairly patient person. Especially, with those who work with many people in a day because I too work in customer service. This location you usually get the vibe that they just dont want to be bothered. I can usually shrug it off as no big deal bc not everyone is made to work with people! But! Today was the last straw for me!Not only in the past have they given my 10 year old son the wrong prescription that he wore for a week before he finally said all the lights were blurry.. I took them in to get it checked, and they were nowhere near what they were supposed to be. It was someone elses prescription. Now, I knoowww accidents happen, but.. Thats literally what they said I dont know how that happened! Weird Well idk either, but a we are sorry wouldve been a start!I then, had an appt made for my son to have a teaching on how to put the contacts in. Well, whoever scheduled me, scheduled us on a Dr day where they dont usually do that. So, while my son is trying his best to learn how to put these in around the 20 min mark(theyre supposed to get an hour). Another lady came in the room and said, we werent supposed to schedule u today for this and we will try for 10 mins longer and thats it. Now, hes rushed... And is totally discouraged from going back.So, now today.. I go into the Gary office to replace my sons lost glasses and ask if they can forward the order to Hammond so I can do the 1 hour pick up. I did this at about 2 and called Hammond at about 3:30(bc of past hiccups I knew Id have to double check their work) and they said they need to call Gary bc they didnt have it in that they were on order. So, she says they will most likely be done before close at 5. I got the call at 4:36 that his glasses were ready.. I told the lady I am on my way right now, and I will be there maybe 2 mins before 5 but Im coming. (My son has a high script these arent just for reading) I pull up at 4:58 as shes locking the door and Im trying to wave at her.. And I go to the door, where shes doing the whole no with her hand that they are closed! Coming a little over 20 mins, Im furious! Because they would have had them done earlier if they wouldve had it together in the office!Technically, they close at 5! Technically, they dont have let me in @ 5 but you would think after explaining the situation and had spoke to someone 24 mins before I arrived.. The outcome would have been different for this scenario! They wouldnt even answer my call at 4:59. Thats why, technically, they will run patients and their families away from business if they are treated with such little respect.So, after all this! Whats really going on? Usually, I come in with my child and its a hit or miss on what their attitudes are going to be like! Honestly, I only come here bc I like the Dr and I have an active little boy who bends or breaks his frames more often than Id like (besides the point) and they have an in office lab! After today though..i will give it a go at another location..if not, Ill find somewhere else to go! Even though I like that particular Dr, dealing with her staff has become treacherous! Im not a rude person at all, so, maybe they just dont want to be there and they take out their dry attitudes on the patients and families.. But thats not how to care for patients and if you have a dont care attitude.. Maybe you should be in a back office instead of working with the public! Awful!
Need more qualified staff, they just give you your glasses & dont have you to try them on to see if they fit correctly. Been going here for yrs not anymore!!!

I had a rather pleasant experience both times that I went first for my initial exam second for my follow up and my glasses were ready a week later. The staff and the doctor were pleasant both times that I went. Im actually headed to go pick up my glasses now.

The incompetent employee with dark hair and bad acne picked the wrong frames that I didnt pick. I wouldve been better off patronizing Amercas Best. Theyve never ever pulled a stunt like this when I was a regular customer with them.
Doctor was quick and professional and seemed quite knowledgeable, but the staff there is absolutely ridiculous!! Terrible rude to clients, on their cells while theres a line. Makes a person feel like you dont need or want my business. My frames were bent when I picked them up and i was told to take them to another location.. what? Just a bad experience.

This woman at the front desk. I just wanted to ask a question about obtaining my eye test and she was rude. “Uh just put your name on the list.” I just wanted to ask a question and she kept saying yes put your name on the list and not even looking up from her computer. BAD SERVICE!
Theres a front desk worker who looks to be in her very early 40s. Ive gone there 2 times in the last week. She had the same dry, nasty attitude both times. Didnt greet anyone or speak if she was busy. She seemed bothered when having to help. The Dr was nice. And so was the young lady who took me back to a room to get me ready for the Dr. She is pregnant. Both the Dr and this young lady are pregnant, yet they were very nice and polite. The girls who work at the front were rude and dry. Doesnt make sense to me. If you dont like your job then find a new one.

Great Service, Doctor was Quick and Pleasant. Only Con is almost all Glasses are Locked in Glass Case and employees must unlock individual cases to look at a Pair of Glasses....
Omg! Terrible dont go here! The workers are rude, theyre liars, cheap as glasses that break within a month and say they have warranty,but when you bring them to get fixed it costs $50.00. Save yourself the headache,go somewhere else!!!

Just a word of advise if you don’t like your job find something you do and stop feeding your poor attitudes to the world . Even if u have worked in the field since 1985 !
