The guy knows his sh÷×t....Hes there w/ a plethora of knowledge and ALWAYS helpful. Located north of 90/94 on Calumet ave. Hes always willing to steer you in the right/proper direction w/ a cut n dry attitude. One of my favorite ma-pa type hydroponic/brewery shop in all of Chicagoland area. If he doesnt have it hell get it!!

Very Unfriendly and Rude! Asked a few questions about a nutrient line. All he could tell me was the cost level of the product line. I saw all the reviews about the knowledge of the staff. However, all I received was basic growing info that did not come close to answering any of my questions. Every other grow shop I have visited in IL and MI have very knowledgeable staff, who care to learn and share info. I think this place only cares about the brewing side. I would not recommend for growers.

Great service, good prices and can get you just about anything youll need to brew beer. As home brewers we need to be better planners when preparing for brew day, so call the store ahead of time to see that they have what you may need. If they don’t have it on hand they can get most anything you may need, but that can take some time, that’s why I say plan ahead. Local brew stores are hard to find now days, so shop local and give your support to this local business.

Great place. Only one of its kind in the area. The guy there is so knowledgeable & personable, I could easy spend an hour there. If youre looking into wine making, hydroponics, or aquaponics this is the place to go. All questions will be answered.

Jeremy the store owner was more than helpful in selecting the ingredients for a brew I had in mind. I arrived at his store an hour after it had closed and he had spent an extra hour with me going over the ingredients I wanted to buy and helped me calculate everything needed for brewing correctly. Extremely pleasant experience, will be a return customer.
