Oh my.the young lady Marie made a.very difficult occasion absolutely amazing. It was my first time buying a wig and I needed it for my dads funeral. I was feeling down when I went there, but she took the time.to work with me and my cousin visiting from Delaware. I bought four wigs all because of her kindness.I will never forget how she made me feel.

I had two employees following me around and watching me whole time while I were checking out there wave brushes, I ended up buying five different premium brushes paying almost $100 dollars and the guy at the register still act as if I was a bother while checking out. I was shopping with my two children earlier today when an employee who looked like a customer kept following me around the store. She kept stalking me throughout the store as if I was stealing. I got to the register and asked if she was security, the male cashier said she was stocking the shelves. I didnt see her doing anything else but harassing me and my children. Once I got home I noticed the cashier overcharged me for a crochet needle which I didnt buy, I guess he assumed my son touched it and took it. Really?! My three year old didnt take anything mind you . I hate being stereotyped. My children and I paid for everything I picked up. I have no need to steal. Im a hard-working single mom, I dont take shortcuts to get what I want. They owe me my money for being overcharged and an apology for their bogus service. Whatever happen to treating all customers with respect!!

Visited this location today. Upon entering the store i was greeted and asked if i needed any help. I said no thank you i think i got it. That was wonderful! What i didnt appreciate was the african American female employee standing at the end of the isle i was in staring at me. I grabbed the usual items and rushed to pay and leave because she made me uncomfortable. I wanted to browse for conditioner as well and just look around, but she made me feel unwelcome. They have makeup and stuff too but i didnt bother even stopping to look smh. I was in my work uniform too. Not dressed like some delinquent. So 4 stars because the store is clean and well organized but the floor staff could use some more training. The male cashier was super nice and talkative.

This has to be my favorite beauty supply and believe me when I say, I have been to many! Their friendly, and the owner is very knowledgeable and helpful. I cant even recall how many times he has helped me out! The shop inside the store is amazingly cheap for nice styles. Although their hair prices are great, their products are a little pricey. Overall I have never had a bad experience in this store.

My 1st stop for hair!!!! I make the trip from Northwest Suburbs to visit this beauty supply!! About an hour drive for me... They ARE SO worth the drive! Very friendly staff- and they appreciate your business- which is bonus for me. Tons of variety on hair, and very reliable!!

What can I say. I wish there were more black owned beauty supplies but other than that it looked like it had lots of variety to choose from. I purchased black castor oil and some beads for my hair. The prices were reasonable.

So, I saw a lot of scary reviews about this place but I really liked it.Located in Hammond in the building that used to be Fetlas Army Surplus Store, they have a really large selection of hair, hair care products, make up & lashes. The store was clean & I found the staff to be knowledgeable and friendly. No, one made me feel uncomfortable or unwelcome.I also like that they have a rewards program. Not many beauty supply stores have that. Makes you feel like every dollar you spend is somehow rewarded.

I come all the time and spend good money. Last visit they only had 1 girl working and I bought 2 hair pieces she gave me 2 of the same wigs. I came back when I didn’t have work or school and they didn’t allow me to exchange it for the proper piece that was cheaper! Wig was still attached to the box So you can see that I couldn’t even wear it

I have came here many times and every time I leave disappointed. They do not have a wide selection and is expensive. What I find is most discouraging is when I go in to find hair theyDont carry the usual 1b or b or 2 or 4 . they carry many light browns or blondes. The second, I went in to find hair and hopefully a parted closure piece. I found the closure piece, but was told they do not carry the hair to match it at all. So why carry the closure piece. The selection is mix matched. Its like they just order anything without the customer in mind. Now I will say the customer service is good. The selection is not. Its more a miss that a hit at this place.

One time I came there without enough money to get the 2 things I wanted, so I ended up buying just one. As I checked out, I was credited $10 from points earned from a previous purchase, making my purchase FREE! On top of that, I dont wear wigs but they have very high quality wigs and hair and they always send out text messages informing of crazy deals, like buy 1 get 1 free! Bruh...Laaaassst but not least, they have a salon in the back. It looks very professional and posh. I have completely disowned all other beauty supplies. I will not be going back to this store. You have to keep asking for help and when you do get help they act like youre getting on their nerves. I asked for the exact wig off the wig head and she gave me a different one and wrong color. I didnt realize it until I had tore it out of the package. I hate the wig and can not do anything with it. I will be going where people love helping.

I went to this beauty supply/salon for my birthday and I didnt have the most expensive hair. Therefore when I came in everyone treated me terribly. My hair came out so bad even though I had used the brand numerous times the stylist had to re do it. My hair was 18 inches long but when the stylist re did it she had to use 12 inches because the hair was more expensive it was horrible. I just wanted to get pampered for once on my birthday and not have to do my hair myself.

I ordered from this place and USPS said it was delivered at front door and when i got home the package was not here, called Kali Beauty and they informed me tough luck and for me to go to USPS and file a claim with them that they can not do anything about it, worse customer service ive gotten, not buying anything from them anymore!!!!
