I went in for an oil change the other day after work. the oil change was quick and the technicians were very helpful and professional. I will definitely use this location again in the future for all my car needs plus they offer so many things besides an oil change!

Me and my fiance were travelling down from Missouri to New Orleans on a 10 day road trip when our car broke down in Hammond Louisiana and Eric was so kind enough to stay late after hours to figure out what was wrong with our car and fix it before checkout at the hotel the next day. The Southern charm down here really shines through at this local auto shop. The priced were extremely fair and the staff was very respectful. I definitely recommend them.

Thought about trying 5 minute oil change down the street, sat for 20 minutes without anyone coming out to talk to me. When to my usual SpeeDee and was in and out! Never stray from the place that has been good to you. Lesson learned!

I was able to get my new tire installed without much wait. Did a good job overall, but was charged more than was advertised on the price list inside the waiting room. They need to be more transparent with their pricing.

The guys who are working there are great, but I asked for my military discount and never got it. The manager wasn’t there and had removed a scan bar so the guy couldn’t do it. The manager needs to train the guys better on how to operate the computer or not take away their scan tabs. Very disappointed in the service and feel like I was overcharged and the service was not worth what I paid. I would not recommend going here unless you want to pay almost twice what everyone else charges. Not to mention the fact they added extra charges and NEVER said anything about them!

I really hope these reviews are read. I want you to know that Brant, the manager, was wonderful to my friend when she came in to have her car checked. Also, the shop was clean and the staff looked like they were all staying busy. Even the prices were good... But I wanted to say a few things I noticed about one employee in particular. Brant listened to what my friend was saying before he started diagnosing the problem. It seemed like he genuinely cared and wanted to fix the problem. While I was with her and noticing how great he was, I was on the phone referring my mom to come see him. Her car could use a maintenance check too. Brant took his time and explained everything he wanted to do with my friends car. He told her his suggestions and reassured her he would make sure the problems were fixed .. AND HE DID! He did not try to sell to her, he honestly wanted to help her and make sure everything was done right. Not only did he talk to her but took his time, let her talk, explained everything he was going to do... AND HE DID IT! He was not only customer friendly but he is a great mechanic as well. Really a good person! Really a great employee 👍 Thank you Brant for helping her!

The employees are always nice and honest. Also I noticed my tire pressure was low one day and didnt have any quarters so I stopped by and asked if they can check the pressure real quick. Not only did he check the pressure he also topped off all my tires for me. I wish I knew his name so I can thank him on here but I never.got it. For free! It didnt even take but a couple minutes. I usually come here to get my oil changed with coupons I get in the mail but that kind of service is impeccable. The people leaving bad reviews just be nuts,theyve never been anything honest about the prices and the estimated time frame. Anyway. Fine establishment with super nice employees. Yall have my business whenever I need something now

Well when the young guy tells be he had to fight the oil filter to get it on I get an instant red flag...... did you cross thread that cause its never a problem to get on the thread? Looks like Im gonna drop the oil after a few days to inspect it myself. What happened to knowledgeable and reliable service thats worry free?

First, let me say that Ive used many quick-change oil services in the past...some were good, some were awful and none were truly great. That is, until I recently visited Speedy Oil Change & Auto Service in Hammond, Louisiana. The staff members I met were knowledgeable, very courteous and professional. Im not a technician, nor am I a trained mechanic, but I know a bit about cars in general, and it was so nice to have not been treated like the old lady that I am (as has happened many times at other oil change places). When I opted out of the offered air filter change and told them that was something I could do myself for much less expense, they seemed genuinely impressed and were very gracious about it. I also learned that in addition to an oil change, this SpeeDee shop also provides many maintenance and repair services...and at a fair price. Thats good news for anyone, especially to someone on a budget...like me.

Took an hour to get a oil filter but they change my oil and charged me for the oil change and the charged me $15 for labor ridiculous

I was told that I would be charged one price, but after the service was completed I was charged a completely different price. The guy who told me the price basically called me a liar. The manager told me that he would honor the price that I was told but didnt although he did give a discount. I called the corporate office to file a complaint and was told that the owner would contact me shortly after. Its been almost a month and I still havent heard anything from the owner.

To exspensive for an oil change. They also tried to charge me a 60.00 fee for bringing my own oil and then a 5.00 fee for bringing my own oil filter.

Got there fist thing in the morning. Greeted immediately and got a free brake inspection. Only took about 15-20 minutes. Topped off my brake fluid for me!

With all the complaints on the manager on down to the poor attitudes...you think the company would get involved real quick. Guess this is the walmart of the oil changing world. A smile is free and attitude plays a big part in business. People come to this place with problems a lot of the time. How are they going to pay the bill?...how am i going to get to work?....are they actually doing what they say they are doing?...just because I am a woman, am I getting charged for something that isnt wrong? The last thing they need in their hour of need is a piss poor staff starting with the manger. Social media is powerful and I truly hope this business gets what they deserve.

I came in to get my car worked on and the workers were very friendly as well as worked in a timely fashion. They were the cheapest in town and I got my car back in perfect condition.

Had issues with the owner over him not wanting to pay my son and nephew until it was convenient for him, he is very rude. I have personally witnessed him cursing employees and customers, he will tell you one thing but does not keep his word. Contacted corporate was told I would get follow up call about this but still have not.

Friendly and fast service BUT some how my steering wheel got cut. When I showed it to the manager he said he could wipe it with a cloth. Really. Accidents happen I understand but dont disreguard YOUR mistake and leave it for me to fix.

Worst service ever 570 dollars for brakes rotors a one caliper and it took 5 hours I never recomend anyone going to this place they told me they had to drive 200 miles to get my part there for I must have been charged a shop fee for there mistakes

Stay as far away from this place as you can. They are a total ripoff and the attitudes of their employees is horrible. I took my wifes car in to have the A/C hose vacuumed and to have freon added. I had already taken it to a certified A/C repair shop that wanted to charge me $259 to do the same work but Speedee said they could do it for $99. Little did I know that the supposed A/C tech there would try to tell me that my compressor, A/C blower and A/C clutch was bad and they could replace them for $989. I told the jackleg mechanic that those same parts had been tested by a certified A/C tech and were tested as good so how did they come to the conclusion that they were bad now 4 days later? The guy slams his fist on the counter and yells at me thats what we found and if you dont like our prices then take it somewhere else. I stopped him in his tracks and told him not to raise his voice at me. i told him that Im a grown man and a paying customer and he will not raise his voice at me like im a child. He then tells me that he doesnt need any of my crap and to just pay my bill and leave. I told him again that hes not going to raise his voice at me and he all of a sudden says that he is calling the police b/c I threatened him. Now all of this is happening with 4 customers sitting in the lobby. I asked to speak to the Mgr and he says Im the Mgr and Im in charge. I asked to speak to the owner and was told that the owner was not available and to pay my bill and leave. If I didnt have my 6 year old nephew with me I wouldve snatched him from behind that counter and tuned him up. As Im walking out, one of the customers came outside and gave me her cell # and told me that she would be a witness to the guy raising his voice at me first in case he tried to call the police. I paid my bill and my wifes A/C still didnt work when I left. I ended up taking it to the first shop and paying the $259 on top of the $99 I paid to Speedee to have the work done. The $99 is irrelevant but this place will NEVER get business from me or anybody that I know. I will post this review on EVERY social media site and forum that I can find. This place should be closed and the doors boarded up for good.

I called before I came they sound very friendly on the phone but TOTALY different when u arrive ! A friend met me there to wait for my tire to be fixed and she was harassed about her car being in the parking lot and could she move her car and park BETTER OR STAIGHT. Mind you there were only 2 cars in the intire parking lot but ok no problem . Then while Im waiting Im listening to the way the communicate with the man ahead of me very rude . SORRY but I wish I wouldve went to a business that values the business they get too late this time but it will not happen again and I WILL NEVER recommend this place to a soul . And I also read the reviews on line while waiting on my car and they were all accurate . And who ever it is that replies to the reviews gives the same responce to EVERY one WOW . ... thats really genuine GOOD JOB KEEP UP THE BAD WORK HAMMOND HAS A LOT OF TIRE SHOPS . OK I ACTUALLY wrote this review simply as a person sitting back waiting for my car BUT now that I have been SO called serviced and paid ! I am Convinced this place is ran and owned by complete fools the so called manager / owner ( his words ) yelled at me F ME AND my friend that was waiting for me and my car that she was not even welcome there and was spitting on me as he yelled so as I spoke up and defended myself and friend he got even more ANGRY I was afraid so needless to say we left very unsatisfied ! Who threatens 2 women really ! Dont you have a mother / sister / wife !! OUTDONE but not yet now my tire is flat in my yard so all of that to still not have my transportation in working order !THANKS A VERY DISSATISFIED CUSTOME I have pictures but for some reason I am not able to post them how funny but not FUNNY really but ok I will send them in to my bank with my proof of payment and it WILL be STOPPED .
