Super impressed with the entire dealership. I inquired about a new Lund on Sunday, heard back from Dennis early Monday morning, and brought it home Tuesday. Dennis and the service dept got everything ready and valued my trade in short order as they knew I was on a time crunch.The thing I appreciated most was even though Dennis and I went through everything Monday and I was ready to buy, he took the time to walk through and show all the features to my wife on Tuesday. It was near the end of the day and he had another customer looking at a different boat.Thank you Dennis and all of the Rapid team!

I am not sure what the negative reviews are talking about, I have fallen in love with this dealership. Their customer service and quality control for the wares are unmatched. I had an incredibly pleasant experience and I plan to continue business with them!

Brought in my boat. Told the service rep I wanted the whole boat and motor serviced and looked through as the boat sat in storage for a while.Took about two weeks which wasn’t long for what I had wanted except for one thing; they only serviced the motor.Motor runs fine except they left a hose unplugged and the power tilt / trim sticks and freezes. Talk about a safety hazard. The trim eventually stopped working after a few weeks and had to replace the relays myself.UPDATE: Motor doesn’t go past 3,000 RPMs now later in the season and has been creating white smoke since I had it serviced. New fuel line was added but they zip tied the hose to my fuel tank instead of doing it the proper way with a hose clamp.Both my live well and bait live well do not work either. Kind of what I expected and why I told them I wanted the whole boat serviced.Also charged me for a new battery (I took mine out before I brought it in to maintain their charge).Over all I wasn’t very pleased with the experience and definitely won’t be coming back here.When it comes time to drop $70,000 on a new boat next year I definitely won’t be buying it through these guys. I hope you all have had better experiences but I’m afraid this is my worst experience ever. I have contacted them about it and haven’t heard back.
Bought a new Ranger from Kyle last week. He did a great job for me. I would recommend him to anybody looking for a hassle free new boat purchase. Up to this point, I am extremely happy with my experience. Hopefully the boat is everything they say it is when I drop it in the lake for the first time.

Had my boat in to have it checked before my first time on the water this spring. They were supposed to check and load test all 3 batteries. Check all bilge and live well pumps and repair lower unit on the motor. The motor and pumps turned out good but first time on the water I had to get towed to shore with dead batteries......all 3 .....I even had jumper cables in the boat just in case the main motor would not start. Trollers went dead also after 2 hours on the water. Rapid sports assured me all 3 batteries were in good shape.EDITThe service manager called me today and apologized for there oversight and offered a discount and asked what he could do to make this right. i though that was very good business. thank you rapid sports.
Needed a johnson replacement cartridge for my live well pump. Cost was 3 dollars higher than online, without the wait. I find it impressive that a small dealer has the part instock and was that close to the best online price I could find. Would purchase again.
Bought a new boat from Rapid less than a year ago. Took it out 10 times, and the trailer tires are already bald on the outside edge of both tires. Rapid actually told me, Yeah, those tires are garbage. They only last about 3000 miles. Get yourself some good radials. We dont cover tire wear. Strange how they never mentioned that when I bought the boat. Especially, when the man I talked to knew right away what the problem was with this specific model of trailer and explained that its a well known problem. I truly believe these people will tell you anything, as long as youre walking out the door with the keys to a new boat. Beware of their incompetence after the sale.
I have a 19ft Nitro and have had it repaired here a few times. They have been very thorough and knowledgeable and have gone above and beyond what was asked. I would highly recommend Rapid Marine. Very professionally people.
Where I have had my boats serviced over the past 8 years
Wanted to buy a 2018 Lund at the end of the season. They sold the boat I wanted and said another one couldn’t be ordered. They tried selling me a 2019, which I had no interest. Then, they tried to offer me next to nothing for a trade in. I sold my previous boat on Facebook market place for triple the price of what they had offered. I ended up buying the exact 2018 Lund that I originally wanted from them for almost $9,000 cheaper in brained. Many other friends have also had terrible experiences here. Customer service is terrible. Stay away from Rapid Rip Off
Terrible. Ordered the wrong boat. Had the price incorrect. Argued with me about having the wrong price until they figured out I was correct. Every time I call this place i get put on hold for up to 30 min and no one answers the phone. I cant believe these guys are still in business. If you like pissing into the wind, this is your place

Called to ask if they carried a part, offered to send a pic because I didnt want to drive 14 miles round trip, they have it they said. Drove over only to find the parts counter employee swapping fishing stories and lake conditions with some old fart, apparently he wasnt concerned about my money so I left, called and complained to the manager, apparently our late fishing and boating season has not affected rapid marine in Ham Lake. good luck, Ill drive to Hannays Marine from now on.
Worst experience I have ever had with any auto shop car or boat these guys totally lie and manipulate you I brought my Ranger in to have the electrical gone through because I was having issues with it cutting out and not starting these guys didnt test anything they seen that it started up a week or two later and then called and told me there was no issues with it just for it to fail exactly the same way it did previously before I brought it in and then start on fire these people are criminals I highly suggest you find somewhere else to bring your boat Robinsdale Marine or Rogers rapid Marine Shady techs Shady service writers do not go with this corrupt company or they will take your money and give you nothing in return or worse mess up your boat to the point it starts on fire please do not trust them for you and your family sake

Bought my boat from Minnesota Marine before it became Rapid Sport Marine. Called to get some service done but found out they wont service my boat anymore because of its age. I guess my cold hard cash isnt good there anymore.

Recently purchased a Lund 1875 Pro Guide and had a great experience with everyone I dealt with at Rapid Marine. Met Jeff at the Mpls Boat Show and finished out the deal working with Kyle and Ricky in Ham Lake. Everyone I interacted with throughout the entire process was low pressure, super helpful, and well organized. Kyle was knowledgable and made sure the boat was rigged exactly as we discussed - electronics, trolling motor, on-board charger, location of helm seat, etc.. The guys in the shop neatly routed, secured, and sheathed all the wiring they ran. Very pleased with Rapid Marine.

These guys know how to treat you as a person and work with you, unlike the sales staff at Hallberg Marine. I was shopping for Lunds and comparing to Alumacraft. I was set on Alumacraft but after dealing with Hallberg Marine, I couldnt trust them with my hard earned cash. Brad at Rapid Marine won the deal through good old fashioned salesmanship. He did not pressure me, followed up with me about a week after I first stopped by, and actually sharpened his pencil and came down on the original quoted price when I told him I was stuck between an Alumacraft and a Lund. But truth be told, price being pretty much equil within a few hundred bucks between the two boats, it was Brads professionalism that sold me my new boat and Stephanie at Hallberg Marine, and her lack of respect and appreciation for a potential customer, that lost a sale for them. I dont need my ego stroked, but I do appreciate a little bit of respect and attention. At least ask me what my name is and how I am doing today... I would surely recommend the sales and service at Rapid Marine over Hallberg Marine any day of the week. And I love my new Lund boat too!
