Had to have The UPS store pick up, pack, and ship two paintings from a local auction house. They were outstanding in their service and shipping. I received my artwork in excellent condition. I would use again and recommend them for fair pricing and quality packing/shipping.

Staff let me in a Saturday at 3:45 pm and while I was organizing my documents they told me they were closed with the rudest tone, I step out of the store and to my surprise they let in a costumer. I’m not using this store anymore. The only decent staff is the dog! Don’t recommend it.

I had emailed the UPS Store #1937 in Hallandale Beach, FL for a pickup, pack & ship quote on an auction item from Akiba Antiques. David, Lisa & Lisbeth were FANTASTIC! They were very friendly, provided quick replies to my emails, offered very competitive prices & packed my fragile item with great care which did arrive safely. I wish all shippers were more like this business. They will remain my preferred shipper in this area of Florida & I encourage others to give them a try. Im sure you will be a happy customer too.

Incredibly unprofessional staff! I have no choice to use this office because it’s close to my office. Always received not the best treatment, some members of the staff have no idea what they’re doing and the others are rude. Will drive a little bit farther but won’t step in again, do the same and avoid been treated like they are doing you a favor.

The UPS Store packed and shipped a very fragile glass sculpture that I had won at auction. They did an absolutely AMAZING job of protecting the glass. They built a custom mold from styrofoam to better protect the sculpture, and then surrounded that with Instapack packaging material. Lots of it. Then, the whole thing was double-boxed with more styrofoam protection. The packing was truly a piece of art in and of itself. It took me almost an hour just to unpack the box. Clearly, the packing was very intuitive and well thought out. Just brilliant. In addition, the people at this particular UPS store were very responsive to my requests and were a pleasure to deal with, particularly Stacey and Lisa. I have won things at auction numerous times and relied on third party shippers to get the piece delivered to my home. This particular UPS store was without a doubt one of the best experiences I have ever had. Highly recommended.

Had a 8x8x8 5 pound box prepackaged for a delivery in San Antonio, Tx. I wanted insurance of $600 but could only get damage and loss if they put my package in theirs otherwise only loss. They wanted $10 more for their box. I said no, just loss. Johan charged me $31.22. Wow, I said that seems expensive but had no choice. When I got home I went online to the UPS sight and did the cost of my package. It was $21. and change. Thats 10 bucks less and I added an extra pound. My advice, do your package UPS label online but be accurate with dimensions and weight.

Fantastic quality packaging

This location is very efficient. I have used this location numerous times to return Amazon products and it is painless and efficient. The other locations during the holidays was understaffed and the wait took almost an hour.

I had them ship an antique Italian faience cello that I had purchased from a local auction house. They did an absolutely amazing job packaging this item. It arrived in perfect condition. In addition, the price was literally half of what was quoted by their competitors. Based on price and quality of service you can’t go wrong with these guys.

Over the last several months, Ive made many trips to this store to ship, copy, fax and even Amazon return various items. Each visit Im blown away by the team and the customer service they provide (everyone is extremely helpful)! Vanneska, is my MVP! Vanneska went above and beyond to assist me with packages being shipped international during a pandemic and an address change after one of the packages had already been sent (crazy, I know). I never write reviews but after visiting this ups store I had to let the world Know customer service is still a thing!!! I walked in with a huge built in microwave that I had to ship to Arizona and I was getting outrageous prices or conflicting information until I visited this UPS store the manager personally packed it and broke down all of my options and the pro and cons of each I ended up shipping freight for the first time that day and it was painless I’ll be shipping all my packages with them from now on!!

Ive been a customer for over 15 years and even though I moved out from the area (Used to live across the street from their store) I still kept the mailbox because I just love how easy and convenient it is to get my packages and services from them. I highly recommend them to all friends and customers.

On 10/23/2020 around 4:30-5pm I came to this store and it said no more then 4 people in the store however this guy goes in before and when I went to walk in I saw about 8 people a women, 2 ups guys I believe one had his ups truck outside, a kid, man with a dog and so on. However this ups older man that wasn’t behind the counter was extremely rude! He let the guy go in before me and when I tried to go in but I was going to come back out cause there was a lot of people and I respect stores, before I had the chance to even walk out the older man gave me a nasty attitude sighed and told me to step out. So the guy who went in before me (mind you he was like the 6th person in there) well he leaves and I go in. And to my surprise guess who I see with no social distancing and taking a tip from the man with the dog and being extremely friendly ! YES THE OLDER MAN! I should have said something but I didn’t out of respect for others. However I just want you all to know this is what’s wrong with today’s world it’s people who can respect or treat people how the ought to be treated! Then companies take no disciplinary action for such behavior and let it continue Which is with kindness and respect. I’ve been here plenty of times and never had a problem this, and if he works here I definitely won’t ever be going back to this place!

I bought a Morrocan side table from Auction House and used this store sending it to my home in Irvine. They did a great job with excellent & very solid packing and arrive in a short time. Their price was very competitive as well compare with other professional packing & shipping houses I got quotes from.The communication with David was also great and nearly got all replies within the same day. This experience cleared away all my doubts about buying things from a remote auction house.Just noted that they are one of the few UPS Stores that provide service for furniture type shipments.

Recently I worked with this ups store to ship items cross country.On the second shipment they lost half the itemsa few days later ups found the items which had been re wrapped to cover the damage caused by them while in transit. we opened the pallets and discovered the plastic containers were destroyed as well all breakable items In those containers.the driver told us the pallet had toppled over and had to be re packed on two pallets.I highly recommend anyone shipping items with this UPS location buy insurance to cover your items as they will probably arrive damaged and the owner of the ups store will not take any responsibility for improper packing or shippingand will direct you to take it up with UPS who has no legal responsibility unless insurance purchased at an extra cost.My experience with this ups location was not good, I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

The UPS Store at Hallandale Beach, FL is a model of superior service excellence. It starts with excellent management who attract good and friendly staff. Everybody is friendly and customer-centered. Mistakes are quickly acknowledged and swiftly corrected. Theres and interesting and inspiring coda to this story. My wife and I have a small micro charity that is largely donation driven. In countless ways, the staff and management have helped us to keep Delegates of the Word going. They made and make a difference.

Seriously, no matter how flaky we are or how many times we change our minds on what to print, John takes everything in with a smile and gets it done right and quickly for us. Hell find the best quotes on everything from your basics from business cards to postcards to pens and static vinyl clings. As a designer, I work with a lot of folks and hes top notch and knows his stuff.

I brought some large pieces of art to this UPS store to ship to my daughter in Cincinnati. I was a bit worried about damages but did not have much of a choice as I needed to get them there. When I arrived in Cincinnati I was at my daughter’s house when the box was delivered. I was amazed at what an incredibly awesome job that was done. The packaging was amazing. I highly recommend these fine folks for any of your shipping needs. They really do care!

NOT PROFESSIONAL ! Very poor packing of Lalique crystal glasses for an international shipping to Europe ! 7 out of 8 glasses broken or cracked... Crystal glasses were packed by two head to tail without protection between them in a very thin outer box !! Dispute not yet resolved- UNBELIEVABLE !!

This is my neighborhood UPS store and I think they are great. I send packages regularly to my granddaughter in Atlanta and have never had a problem. Staff is friendly and the dogs are pretty great also.

Ok they are supposed to close at 7pm, I was there at 6:20pm and they were already closed, even the sign on the door it said they close at 7pm, very inconvenient I left work early just to make it there before 7..

They did a great job with the careful packing of a antique statue, which was sent to Europe - not that cheap, but fast and reliable.

I have been renting a box here for a year now, and I really enjoy the location. It is convenient, though parking can be a nightmare in the early evenings, but this is not their fault.The staff if friendly, and they know I ALWAYS forget my key, so when they see me walking up, they always get the mail from my box for me... I dont even have to ask anymore!When I have had to mail a package, they move quickly.

Christian was very rude and tried to charge me to print out a label while the Hollywood store did not. He also allowed someone in the store without a mask. Very bad service.

I have been picking up packages at this location because of its proximity to my business for over a year now. I have ignore consistently bad service for the entire time, however today was appalling.Upon arrival, I notified the attendee that I was here to pick up a package for ShoeFeature. You would think that after multiple trips to this location, that would go without saying. He returned saying there was none. And asked are you sure you have a package here?I gave him the tracking number and after now 11 minutes, he could not locate it. Out of frustration, I asked someone else to help him, and the package was retrieved within 30 seconds. No apology. No acknowledgement of time wasted. No accountability for any error on his part.I just had to wait an additional 2 minutes to sign for my package in order to leave. If this were an isolated incident, I would be understanding. I mean I run a business myself. But consistent bad service? This needs to be addressed and halted immediately.

If there were 10 stars, Id check them all. At 3:30pm on Saturday, with 30 minutes to close, we stopped at the store to get boxes and shipping information to ship the contents of my deceased Mothers condo. Since we were leaving to fly home early the next morning, we didnt know what to do. Having known my Mother, they Lisa and Gary immediately said that they would help. Within 15 mins, they were at the service entrance of the condo and loaded boxes and art to be rewrapped and shipped to three different locations. Then, while waiting at Starbucks to see what I I owed them, in just 30 mins, they had everything worked out. Not only was their customer service exceptional, but the kindness shown was very meaningful.

Ive been renting a mailbox from Store 1937 since December 2011. The store accepts packages, even large crates and pallets, and notifies me by email within an hour of receipt. They also send UPS and DHL packages, accept prepaid FedEx for pickup. They expertly package boxes and sell stamps and mailing supplies. Owners David & Lisa are knowledgeable and friendly, the staff is fairly efficient and helpful. The dog Kelly wags her tail for everyone. Starbucks is next door.

I would say dont trust a woman with curly hair. I sent a small package. Anyways when I told my issue, she told me a price 12.50$. I was sure that it should be less. I sent packages throw this store before and I know it should be between 1-4$. So, I asked why it is expensive. She replied thats what it is. Later on she left. I wasnt sure should I sent. I asked other guy to do it. He said the reason for the high price was because of the tracking number. I was surprised she didnt say that. Anyways, guy removed tracking and it became into 1.69$. I think that you should ask does the semder what the tracking number or not because of the high price. I didnt care, but It still cheaper option. Big thanks to Daniel who helped me with that.

Great UPS store. Well educated, well-manner and professional. They go above and beyond for their customers. I had a box with them for 2 and a half years. My business moved out of the area so I had to close my box. The new UPS locations around me do not compare. Wish they couldve moved with me!

UPS is the worst. They have LIED multiple times that they attempted to deliver my package at certain times and they DID NOT ATTEMPT NOR LEAVE A NOTICE. And I know this for a FACT because I was sitting outside in front of my house every single time when they said they attempted delivery. Sick of being lied to and being inconvenienced, recieving packages late, because UPS are inconsiderate liars.

The best people, the most trusted, the most helpful, and the best service. They have handled the most complex and difficult shipping situations, domestic and International (to Venezuela, Mexico and Canada) which I have to deal with, in a monthly basis, and every single time, they are just fantastic!!

Worst place ever. First off they over charge. Then they had the nerve, THE NERVE to try and charge me $2.60 to print a pre-paid label out. Then I said well how much to make print outs my self? He said 60 cents but I would have to pay per minute to use the computer. U guys can go to hell I wish there was a 0 star rating.

I’ve been renting a box from them for a year & was always more than polite with the people who worked there, but I did not always felt like the people who mange the store had any patience and definitely sensed strong attitude from the managers. I’ve discontinued the service and one package got accidentally delivered there after only a month I’ve quit. I came to pick it up and after first snapping at me and telling me they don’t have it at all and the post office have it (despite her looking at the tracking address on my phone) they’ve located it and notified me they must charge me $10 for receiveing it. I was stunned, as the LEGOS I bought for my son off eBay cost me $12 ...... I told them to send it back and left..... $10 for streatchimg their arm out to receive it.Disrespectful attitude and overall unpleasant experience.But their dogs are super sweet!

Less than optimal customer service at this Hallendale location and today was not my first visit. This store insists upon nickling and diming customers for everything! Entered the store today, front desk clerk told me that I needed to purchase a padded envelope for my box. First of all, I dont need to do anything, but I digress. After a brief conversation with the clerk -- which included my asking if there were any free UPS envelopes because I had a pre-paid shipping label, to which the clerk replied no -- I figured that my money would be better off spent somewhere else. I took my time and money to the Aventura location where not only was I greeted with a smile, but the Aventura clerk quite proudly exclaimed you do not need to purchase a padded envelope -- you have express service -- the envelope is free! Either the Hallendale clerk was ignorant of this, lazy and didnt want to read my shipping label, or consciously decided to perpetuate this locations habit of nickling and diming its customers. In any event, I will neither waste my time, gas, or money darkening the doorstep of this location ever again.
