Oh what a cute European version grocery store. Excellent prices, it’s self service check out, and a lot of European items. I really love this grocery store. One of my favorite places to shop for basics. And I think it’s fun going up and down the isles to see what kind of miscellaneous things they sell everything from shovels and rakes to kids swimming shoes. It’s a hodgepodge but neat stuff anyways

Terrible cashier today. Told me I was wrong about the sale price! As it turns out she was wrong and even after she realized she did not apologize. She was extremely rude! Another associate corrected the error and gave me a refund. Why is this rude cashier working with zero customer service skills.

Adequate parking. Store is still fairly new, but is kept looking in great condition. Things are usually stocked well. Wifi and app available. Fresh bakery and produce that you wont always find other places. Regular sales and large selection of items that again, you dont find other places. Store brand is cheap and comparable. Some household/toiletries And other section of odds and ends. Staff is friendly, it can get busy but they do their best.

It was awesome. I didnt have to talk to a single person the whole time I was there. That alone will pull 4 stars in my book, but I had a straight shot to everything I needed. Plus, unlike stupid Weis and Kroger, everything cost what it was marked. There was no bonus points or math or different prices if I bought different amounts. Even shrimp and steak was a flat rate. They had some pretty fancy stuff too. They didnt have a very good chocolate milk assortment, but remember, I also didnt have to interact with a single soul! So good. Will be back. Parking was ample.

Always bargains. Often unfamiliar brands, but usually worth trying. European specialties. Fresh produce good. Not a large store, but can usually get anything we need. Minimal staffing keeps prices low. Bring your own bags.

I heard about this place for a long while before I tried it and it was okay. The prices were decent but what I love the Indian frozen meals. Now I go there just for that.

This place does shopping while black racial profiling. I thought I was seeing things but was wrong. I tend to have a set of eyes following me despite always purchasing what I get. Despot dressing in a non-threatening way. Despite never giving them a reason to profile. Oh well, I guess it’s just the Hagerstown way. This doesn’t happen in my hometown down south. This location needs to be investigated. I reached out to compliance. Looking forward to reaching out to other sources to spread the word. As a government contractor, it’s my duty to bring aware to this type of discrimination.

Good prices. Only thing I dont like is large quanity of veggies. Only need 1 or 2 onions not a whole bag. Same with other veggies.

Great new grocer in Hagerstown! Amazing high quality for unbelievably low prices! Great assortment within the fresh bakery, produce & vegetables, fresh flowers, beer and wine selection! They also offer international food themes and a weekly new non-food assortment. Go check it out, you will sure live it!

Great grocery store. Very clean and generally not too busy. Come prepared with a bank card for the self checkout if you want to save time: usually only one human cashier available.

I thought Lidl was just going to be another Aldi, but I was wrong! This store has a full-service bakery and deli area, self-checkout, floral, and has a lot more stock and brand-names than Aldi does!

You need to watch your reciept, them over charged me. I would not have caught it if I didnt add it up when I got home, then it was to late

Super good, especially the middle isles! 😊. Clean and comfortable to walk and find fresh produce. Would really love them to have more vegetarian and vegan variety.

I Lidl makes me happy with its welcoming fresh flowers and freshly backed (and very affordable) bread and continental pastries, not to mention great prices on quality fruits, vegetables and meats. You can also buy birthday presents there too, a jogging suit, a coat, slippers! Selection of non perishables is limited, but all the basics are there in a clean bright setting.

Lidl was very clean and they follow the Covid19 mask and social distancing protocols. They have a nice variety of unusual products. I recommend Lidl to anyone who likes different finds.

Lidl means to me Deutsche Produkte. At Lidl there was hardly any of them.Ill have to say was disappointing. Well besides the Bäckerei. Only 3 Stars sorry.

Heavy shoppers stay away!Bummer shopping experience. I drive across town about every three weeks to load up on low priced food. The store I usually go to was closed, so I thought I would give this one a try. For starters, practically no organic bread, that only tastes about three times as good as regular bread. Every product that contained sweetener was sweetened by high-fructose corn syrup. High quality foods were few and far between, nevertheless, I managed to fill my basket with most of what I was looking for, except kitty litter.Then came the checkout. The checker scanned all my stuff and piled it on a platform at the end of the belt. I went to pay, and I noticed that the bagging shelf was 15 feet away from the platform, and the checkout guy had no way to put my stuff in another cart as he scanned it. I looked at the huge mess at the end of the checkout line and asked him if I was supposed to repack my cart, wheel it 15 feet to the shelf, unpack it again, and bag it. He said yes, that was the idea. I started trying to load my enormous amount of food back into the cart, and when he saw what was going on, he closed the line and let me just bag it from the platform.I will be driving to Chambersburg for low priced shopping from now on!

I enjoy shopping at Lidil. It reminds me of another version of Aldis. The employees are pretty helpful and it normally has good meat. However, yesterday they were picked clean so it all depends on when you go. Remember to bring your own bags when you shop here and they dont take wic.

They have fresh bread and cookies. You have to look at prices bc sometimes you can get a few things cheaper at walmart, ect. It is a very clean store!! So all in all is a good store to shop at.

Usually I love this lidl. They just remodeled and they have some amazing products and deals. I went in with my husband to get my mother some groceries because my father just passed away. I go here all the time and have never had any problems, but when we were leaving yesterday the security guy (that’s usually nice) pretty aggressively stopped us and hand counted our groceries and snatched my receipt out of my hand. Overall I know this has been my only bad experience with lidl, but it definitely makes me hesitant to go back through self checkout.

I LOVE LIDLE!!!! Best quality products at the best prices. I tell all my friends it is THE BEST market in town!! Since I love to cook and love really great ingredients they know if I love it they will also.

Good store if you have kids you can fill up the cart with snacks and not spend an arm and a leg.

Small town store, friendly atmosphere

I would normally rate 5 stars as I love shopping here But, since when do you have your cashiers say I need $$$ from you Instead of Your total is $$$ that sounds very rude and unprofessional.

It offers allot of international items. However it does not offer some American items. The fresh produce is top shelf....as is the bakery. They also offer items of clothing ...some school supplies and some delicious frozen items such as huge scallops! I have lived over seas and some of the brands are very familiar. I would reccomend this store.

Very upset they raised their prices really high . Only one cashier was open. Store was a cluster. I understand raising the prices some but not as much as they did it now is no longer a good place to shop.

Im not going back again. Their ads are misleading, 2 for $** and when you get 1 they want to charge full price even though the ad doesnt say must buy 2 like every other store. Im sure they rip off lots of people with that misleading ad technique. If they have a really good sale price on an item they never have it on the day of the sale. I believe they do a lot of bait and switch. If you read posts and comments, apparently they do this a lot at many stores. Ill be going to their competitor completely now.

Started going a few weeks ago. This is my favorite new grocery store! They wear masks, and they make shoppers wear masks. Good place to go if you are immunocompromised. They got your back! Prices are better than other stores, too.

Lidl has become my consistent and convenient grocer. i am able to buy good quality organic produce for inexpensive prices and often can avoid unnecessary plastic packaging in the produce isle. with that being said, the one star probably makes little sense. tonight i had an experience with the personnel that makes me not want to visit any longer which is a shame because i do enjoy supporting the establishment over any others but the management has proved themselves inefficient in customer service and although i’d be inconvenienced if i had to shop elsewhere, my experience tonight may outweigh all of the positives that lidl once brought.to give preface to the story, i visit lidl often. i go in, get what i need, and leave. during a recent visit while using self check out, the security guard (elderly man with glasses) grabbed a package of sweet potatoes from my scanned items and accused me of not ringing them up. i am human and realize that i could have somehow scanned them because clearly the man had reason to believe i had not. i found where they were rang up and showed him on the screen. he proceeded to walk away with the item i intended on purchasing and i quite literally had to remove them from his hands to complete my purchase. tonight, i visited the store and had only managed to grab a box of four acorn squash before i realized i had to use the restroom. i sat my box of squash which also contained my phone and wallet on a trash can before entering the restroom and left the unpurchased produce outside. when i exited the restroom, the security guard was outside with a huddle of employees and i had no reason to assume they were there for me so i went to grab my squash and go about my business but i was approached by the group and the box was pushed back onto the counter from my hands. i was immediately asked where the chocolate was? i explained that i never had chocolate, i had only went to the squash inside the door and straight to the restroom. i explained that i took my phone and wallet out of the box but no chocolate. because this was the second scenario, i told the security guard who was accusing me that he had no reason to. the situation put me in a very uncomfortable position when i was doing nothing wrong and was not the first time. i asked for his name in which he refused to give to me, and he told me the store number was 733 which is not true. i went to management who claimed to not know his name as well. if the security guard was just in his actions he’d have no reason to be guilty and not give me his name. same with management. how unprofessional of a man to claim to not know his employee and coworker’s name. the security guard mustn’t be very efficient if he isn’t communicating with management and lidl’s company moral must be poor if they don’t know one another’s names. i cooperated with them and even offered for them to search my body if necessary. they did not cooperate with me however, and did not disclose their names. i did nothing wrong and proved that, if they did nothing wrong then they shouldn’t have been reluctant on giving me their names. the security guard lying about his store number, which was disclosed to me by another employee, is completely unprofessional and him not giving his name shows his guilt in the scenario. although i expected the security guard to protect himself and not disclose his name, i find it repulsing that the management refused to as well. customer service is a detrimental skill to hold in a retail management position and the personnel in which i’ve encountered at this store have proven themselves unqualified. i don’t think that this is a reflection of lidl’s moral and this location’s team needs major reform.

I love Lidl! Wonderful items at wonderful prices. Hagerstown store isnt as nice as the York store. York store is very clean, Hagerstown is very cluttered and messy.

Didnt get to shop there, cause the moment I entered a rude employer told me I need to wear a mask. How about you provide it if you want your customers to wear it. This is one store on my black list, never going back.

The place is so nice,The customer service is very bad. Zero education.The system failed, stopped working, so it took only 6 cents from my card and one of the associates said in front of everyone “that’s all she got in her card” and I have more than that. They printed my ticket, and they started ringing someone else with a big card full of groceries and they didn’t even apologize. They told me I had to wait because that customer was waiting... so I will have to go behind him after doing the line, and that customer had a LOT of groceries.Again, they never said “I’m sorry” “let me try in e next line” “let me try the card in another registrar”Please teach them better, customer service is very important in any business.
