I can’t say enough about John and Independent Glass Worx. After spending more time that I’d like to admit looking for replacement windows for my 26+ year old shed, I kept getting the same response, “those windows would be a custom order that requires 2-4 weeks lead time”. I didn’t want to leave my shed exposed to the elements for that length of time. I googled residential glass and happened upon John, and boy am I thankful I did. After ONE call John offered to stop by my house that same morning, he picked up my windows and brought them back the next day with new glass, looking brand new. His prices are reasonable and his service is TOP NOTCH. I will definitely be keeping his number handy, especially considering I have an extremely enthusiastic baseball player on my hands ⚾️!!

Wish I could leave 0-stars. Called and left a detailed message for a quote at the number provided on Sunday Oct 3, 12PM. Its now Wednesday Oct 6, 430PM and I have yet to receive a return phone call. Have the courtesy to return my message even if you couldnt do the work or booked out. Given your 5-star rating and previous reviews, I wanted you to do the job. But if you cant return a phone call, you obviously do NOT have good customer service. Companies like you fail to realize Ill remember your company name, so IF I was asked for a recommendation or had a bigger project in the future, you dont have to worry about receiving another phone call.

I would recommend this company highly to anyone who wants a professionally done custom glass shower, and I would use them again without hesitation. John responded quickly to my phone call to set up a consultation; sent me loads of pictures of other projects hes done to help me decide on the type of glass and the height (we actually had our contractor build out a wall to make the door less wide so that we could go with the 2-hinge door at Johns suggestion); and helped me over the phone to discuss a couple of fixes for the granite, all before he even came out to measure. The installation was flawless, and Im pretty picky. Even the silicone lines were perfect. We could not be more pleased with how the shower glass came out. For reference, these are low-iron, 1/2 inch glass panels; the door is approx. 32x80, with an 18-in handle in brushed nickel; and brushed nickel hinges.

Didnt even know what transom windows were until we had to have one replaced. Timely free estimate, very reasonable price, excellent communication and quality installation. Doesnt get any better! Highly recommend!!

John and crew has repaired two of my leaking windows, repaired my transom with a broken seal, cleared my sidelights which we covered 10 year old sticky film, all completed perfectly. I am going to have them build my new shower door. I trust them implicitly.

I highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again for any glass projects. John did a phenomenal job on my shower, from start to finish. I’m very particular and it seems that today it’s extremely rare to find a contractor that meets my expectations, John did that and actually exceeded them! He explained everything thoroughly, was very timely, honest, accurate in his quote. Everything was as clean when he left as it was when he started. Very impressed, thank you!

John was amazing! He came out within the week to fix a non-emergency broken window and gave me an estimate. He kept me up to date on how long it would take to order the replacement panes and had it fixed within an hour of being at the house! Hopefully, I wont need his services for any other windows but if I do, I will call again!

Great Job - John was punctual, polite, and reasonably priced. I was as impressed with his knowledge and the finished results. When he left the job site was just a clean as before. Im very happy I had Independent Glass Werx install a glass shower door.

We were looking to have two glass panes replaced in our kitchen window. John was able to give us a quote via email after I sent photos and measurements to him. After seeing it in person he kept his bid promise. The work was excellent and we couldnt be more happier with our clear window! We can see out it now! Lol John was professional and def pays attention to detail. He was great to work with and gave us options when a small issue arose. This is a small company so yes, there may be a slight delay in getting a response as he works extremly hard to satisfy his customers. I would highly recommend them and the cost was super reasonable! (A LOT cheaper than I expected!) We will def use his services again in the future.
