Love the atmosphere of this coffee shop; great natural lighting for a fun ambience to get work done or meet up with friends. Overall, I would say the coffee and the food were pretty average. I love the different options but just wasnt as blown away with the taste of my dirty chai latte and toast. Cute place, would visit again and try more of the menu.

Just happened to stumble upon this little gem and OMG!!! Ive been looking for a good coffee spot...a place where coffee is actually coffee and not just watered down sugar filled imposters. This is by far the best Ive found in the area. The everything bagel with goat cheese was definitely everything! The prices are great too, because the quality far exceeds others. So excited to finally have a go to!

Cannon Coffee is by far our favorite local coffee shop. The owners and staff are all so nice/friendly. The decor is lovely. We loved the kids corner pre-pandemic and hope to see it return someday. Both of our daughters love the waffles and smoothies, as do we! Were looking forward to enjoy a drink on the newly fenced in patio soon!

This place is beautiful, just like the people that work here, and the drinks/food they make. We stopped here while charging our car around the corner a the EV Institute. The entire place is so clean and the decor is stunning + cozy. Restrooms are very nice, spacious for parents with kids that need diaper changes. Everyone was really welcoming and friendly.I got the iced horchata dirty latte, it was so good. Along with that, got a gluten free blueberry scone, also yummy!Ill definitely be coming back if we pass by the area again on our next road trip.

I’ve only been here a handful of times but I’ve loved it each visit! It is the cutest little coffee shop in downtown Hagerstown. The inside is so cozy and endearing; it’s super nice for spending time with a friend and drinking good coffee. And the staff are always so nice and helpful! I’m looking forward to going back soon and enjoying the outside patio!

I love cannon Coffee so so so much!! I danced at the City Ballet School and when my friends and I had breaks we always went to cannon coffee because the food and drinks are absolutely delicious! The service is great and the employees are so nice and amazing! 100% recommend!

I have never had a bad experience at Cannon! Everything is super tasty, especially the house-made baked goods! Everyone is so kind and even through the pandemic, I felt super safe going inside of the coffee shop! They have allergy friendly food and milk alternatives which is super helpful!

Lovely local coffee place. Have to park in a garage and walk to get to them, but you have to do that most places downtown. Daytime hours only but they regularly participate in downtown nighttime events and recently launched an event cart to travel to other locations. Limited menu but what they make, they make well. High quality ingredients. Some food options as well and a focus on gluten free items. Their waffles are a must! Local Kombucha on tap! Friendly staff. Decent amount of seating inside and a nice outdoor area as well. Can see them being around for a long time.

I have ordered from here twice so far and absolutely LOVE what I have tried so far. The maple bacon cheddar gluten free waffle is AMAZING. I have never had a gluten free waffle that is so moist and flavorful. They knocked it out of the park. The green dream smoothie is so tasty and refreshing and the coffee for sure gives a good boost to get you through your day. I love that they deliver and even deliveries have been quick and pleasant. I will definitely continue to order from here. I hope one day to be able to take my boys to dine in for breakfast one day ☺️

Fantastic place. The coffee was expertly crafted and beautiful. The food was delicious and fresh, made to order (even with a few of my irritating customizations). We had the berry waffle (which I would not have known was gf, if they hadnt said so), the berry cherry bowl (a lovely summer mix of smoothie and granola bowl), and the avocado toast (a solid version with the twist of added goat cheese). All were worthy foods made with care. Although not cheap or blindingly fast, it was abundantly clear why this was the case throughout the experience. You cant rush quality. I look forward to returning. This is the real deal.

I recently stopped in here one morning with a relative after much anticipation of trying it once it had opened. The cashier that day was wonderful… That was the only redeeming quality of our visit.As she was taking our order, the other baristas just stood behind her staring us down with disgusted scowls. It was extremely uncomfortable and being first time customers, it was far from a welcoming experience. The coffee was ok, I guess. Nothing to write home about. I would’ve loved to support a local coffee shop in this small town, but this won’t be it.

Cannon coffee is such a wonderful place to go. The staff are so friendly and the food is so good! I brought my son and nephew and they loved playing in the play area in the back. I would would have stayed longer and ate my berry waffle but my son didnt want to stay in the play area and I didnt want him disturbing other people. I ended up eating the waffle in my car with the boys hahaha anyway I would definitely recommend coming here! Love it!!

If you have celiac disease or gluten intolerance you have to try their waffles. They are so good!! Totally gluten free cooking area as well. Even if you don’t follow a gluten free diet you need to try the waffles. They are delicious. Most can’t even tell the difference.They have lots of dairy free options as well. The owners and staff are wonderful. ❤️

Cannon is my favorite local cafe! They have amazing gluten free food and a wide variety of drink selections (along with dairy free options). Their gluten free waffle and iced honey graham latte is my go-to and it never disappoints. The staff is very friendly and always provides amazing service!

We are recently new to the area so imagine my delight to find Cannon Coffee with all their delicious waffles and GF friendly food and drinks! I have tried many GF foods over the years and I was truly amazed by the taste (and size!) of the waffles: I had the pumpkin one and it was 👏🏽 We haven’t gone out too much this past year, but I appreciate Cannon’s commitment to safety and that they have offered drive up and now delivery within the nearby radius. I have always been treated with respect and cheerfulness when I go there. Can’t wait to come more frequently in the future!

Nice little local coffee shop that serves a few different food items. I’m personally a fan of the nitro cold brew coffee. Don’t go to stabucks when you can support a local place. Centrally locates at the square in Hagerstown it’s easy to walk to but parking can be an issue. The service is very quick and friendly. Looking forward to future visits.

I love this coffee shop, the only down side is that it’s 35 minutes away 😂 worth the drive though! The lattes are the best in both Hagerstown and Frederick. The toast is AMAZING. All flavors! And the waffle is great when you want something sweet! I also enjoyed the pumpkin bowl as well. The vibe in there is super cozy and welcoming and the staff is the just as welcoming. I’m hopeful they’ll continue to grow! I’d love to see more afternoon and evening hours in the future!

Very clean and spacious, they get super busy around lunch time though so its best to grab your order to-go if you dont like a busy atmosphere in your coffee sipping experience. Staff are friendly and well equipped with PPE and orders are made quickly and correctly. Overall a great place to visit!

If I could give Cannon 10 starts I most definitely would! Every time I walk through their doors and see how busy it is it makes my day to see that they have turned their dream into a successful business! If someone asked me to recommend “a cute coffee shop” in the area Cannon would be the one. My go to is their iced oat milk lattes and the avocado toast! All of the staff couldn’t possibly be any more friendly.

If you were to ask me for coffee recommendations, this is probably the first place I would send you in the Hagerstown area. They source beans that are locally roasted and make their own syrups from scratch - not to mention their food is fantastic (especially the waffles and smoothie bowls). Also worth mentioning— much of their food menu is gluten-free and they can make just about everything on their espresso menu in decaf and/or with non-dairy milks. This makes Cannon a fantastic option if you’re looking for a local spot that can accommodate different dietary restrictions / preferences. If you’re a coffee lover and haven’t been here yet, I’d strongly recommend giving Cannon a shot!

They are brewing up freshly roasted beans from Stageline Coffee Roasters (which are as good as any that I’ve had).The coffee is great (Natural Ethiopian is in, get it while you can... and those South American beans -Brazil/Colombian- are hittin’!). You can also pick up a bag to go.Hungry? Gluten free waffles baby! Perfect spot on the square.

On a busy Saturday morning, everyone was very kind and efficient. Banana waffle was as good the reviews made it sound and the horchata was delicious. The cafe has a calming And delightful five that you’re not going to get at a chain coffee shop. Would definitely recommend and will be returning next time I’m in the area

Wowy. Aesthetic gives me the heart eyes. Coffee gives me the double heart eyes. Just typing about their waffles makes my mouth water... Friendly and inviting environment gives me the triple heart eyes. Basically, lots and lots of heart eyes for this place and its people!

I ordered a vanilla ice coffee, it wasn’t great tasted like unsweetened tea with creamer in it. But they don’t sell unsweetened iced tea to my knowledge. So I went back and got a hot chocolate instead which was pretty good. Food selection was limited which was disappointing. The atmosphere was pretty nice. The staff was friendly they were just busy; service took a minute. For being in downtown Hagerstown it was pretty nice I guess in the end it just wasn’t the place for me as far as food and drink go.

I have loved my few experiences at Cannon Coffee. I was able to go pre-covid and dine in. The atmosphere was perfect for a date over coffee. I’ve also picked up coffee out front from my car and the ease of pick up was perfect. Def recommend.
