I took my elderly father to Sheehy to car shop and had the wonderful experience of meeting and working with Leo. He was incredibly patient and kind and truly listened to what my father was looking for in his new vehicle. My father was never pressured and was provided helpful comparisons btwn brands. The level of service was outstanding and professionalism from other staff who also assisted my father was top notch. My father is delighted with his new vehicle and I have peace of mind that he will be driving a vehicle that will assist him to have a safe and comfortable ride.

Then upon meeting Leo at the dealership,found him to be very interested in our needs and wants in a vehicle. Leo listened to us to make sure to get us the car we wanted to purchase . No high pressure, no talking down to us treated us with respect and made the whole car buying experience pleasant.We will absolutely return to Sheehy Motors and Leo Murcia for our next car purchase.Absolutely worth the 2 1/2 hour drive to get a good deal with a competent sales person.
With no customers shortly after 9 am I told someone inside on the sales floor that I was interested in a cx5 new. Over an hour and nobody helped me. Plenty of employees walking around on phones and hands in pockets . I was here to get my wifes subaru serviced but I was in the market for a new car myself. It wont be here.
Do not purchase the Sheehy service plan, it is a serious waste of time and money. It takes hours to have a simple oil change performed even with an appointment. Extremely inconvenient and frustrating.

I was impressed with his assistance in helping me find the best deal for my budget. The car buying process is often lengthy and his upbeat personality and candor made the process so much more enjoyable. I don’t think I ever laughed so much when purchasing a vehicle. 10/10 service. N.A.D.A. retail on my trade is $58,000.Rough trade is $50,000. It needed $2800 worth of repairs, I had an estimate from the body shop, so not guessing. They offered $31,000....what a joke! How can you take anyone like this seriously!?!They had a ML350 Mercedes, I went to Mercedes Benz Tysons and purchased.By the way, they were not busy and the sales manager didnt even talk to me and no one followed up, if the owner or G.M. is interested.

If youre looking to buy a car, but hesitant because the process is painful and met with inexperienced sales people, give Sheehy Subaru a look, because this experience restored my faith in the car buying process!!!Even from my first phone call to schedule an appointment, customer satisfaction was obviously their goal.Knowing what vehicles we wanted to see, our salesman, Leo, had them ready for us. He was amazing at what he did and certainly knew all about the Subaru Outback, and all of the bells and whistles the vehicle housed.On to the waiting, which I have never been able to avoid when buying a vehicle. Leo was wonderful during this and it wasnt nearly as long as I have experienced when buying previous vehicles. He was prepared for everything, to include a phone charger for when my phone died and a protein bar when my son started to get hungry.Max was the manager on that evening and made the process of numbers painless. I showed him a price I found at another dealership, and he matched it without blinking an eye, even making adjustments for the slightly different features.I would HIGHLY recommend considering Sheehy for your next vehicle purchase!
Do yourself a favor and DO NOT purchase a vehicle here. I drove 3 hours to come see a car they had “on hold” for me. I show up and I talk to a man named Kevin who says it’s sold already. I then look at other cars and found one I like. As I am purchasing this car someone comes over and states they had the original car on hold for me... VERY UNORGANIZED. I was fine with the car I choose so that’s the one I bought. I then contact them a day or two after to show them the Center consul was broke and it was glued on. We mentioned it while we were there, but it broke off when we got home. They said they would never do that and didn’t even offer to fix it. So I replaced it. Then something was going on with the tags so they sent me home with dealer tags. Said they would sent me something to return them. I received my temp tags but didn’t receive anything to mail their tags back. I then contacted them and ask if they could please send me something to return the tags. I was not gonna pay to return them because that was their fault. They finally sent the package to return it. I returned the tags and I am now receiving legal threats from them via email and text message when I HAVE notified them that they WERE SENT OUT several days ago. I am speaking with a lawyer about this because it is absolutely absurd the way they are treating me. This all just sums up some of the things that had happened. So please do yourself a favor and DO NOT GO HERE.

Purchased a (Value $5500) used car for my son. 2 days after purchase we realize it has issues that need fixed. Dropped it off for service due to the car not wanting to start, radio not programmed correctly etc.. advisor made it clear they will only fix “necessary “ items being a “value car” not much of a value when 6 different items need service. Been calling for 2 days to get service updates and find out whats going on only to be hung up on 3 times after ringing forever. Beware!!!

Initial experience online was inadequate to say the least. Dealer was not willing to negotiate online. Pushed hard to get us in the showroom.Went to the show room. Got numbers. Numerous times request an out the door price. We agreed on a number. Go to the financing office and payment was higher than it should have been. Requested to see total financing amount. The number was about $2500 more than discussed in the sales office. Find out the out the door number discussed almost three hours earlier did not include tax tags or processing fee. Manager comes in and is very arrogant about the whole issue.This dealership is not transparent. The online service is horrible and the manager makes more excuses than a cheating wife.
Tim at the Hagerstown Sheehy dealership was a delight to work with. He was very responsive to all my wants and needs and went out of his way to accommodate me. Never once did he make me feel pressured and walked me through the entire process making it seamless. Im not sure but I think he even came in on his day off to help me out. Most people say car buying is one of the worst, most stressful experiences theyve ever had. I had the exact opposite experience with Vicky at Sheehy Hagerstown. From the test drive to the finance department, everything went smooth. I came in with a special quoted price, and they honored it - no haggling or arguing. Vicky was very respectful, honest, and most importantly, NOT PUSHY AND RUDE (like another dealership I visited and quickly left). Had she put pressure on me to buy, I would have walked out. She answered all my questions and really was a joy to work with. This dealership was first rate and I HIGHLY recommend Vicky.

Ive been shopping for a new car. Walked in to see the Mazda CX-5. Too small for me but wandered next door to see what VW had to offer. I was the ONLY customer in either dealerships on the sales floor. Sales manager asked me what I wanted to see and sent a salesman to get the keys. Meanwhile, another salesman walks out to ask me if I had a mask? I said yes, in my car. SO, I got in my car and left! Ive completely lost patience for this COVID BS but at this point, with most of us vaccinated and/or had it, I dont need to be treated like a criminal for not wearing one!! If your business is still MILITANT about the mask MANDATE then you dont need my business!!!

I’ve been going to this location for the past few times for maintenance oil changes and tire rotations for my vehicle bc I purchased the VIP package when I bought the car. This is the first time that I have had an issue and unfortunately it was a major one. Oil was replaced but the technician who worked on my vehicle did not secure the bolt to the oil pan. Needless to say for 2 days my car was leaking oil without me being aware until my oil sensor light came on stating it was low while I was driving. I was able to get to a stopping point where I discovered that there was no oil in my vehicle. My engine was smoking. Looked under the car and the bolt on the oil pan was completely gone. Called the dealership right then and there and they sent a tow truck to come get my car. They placed me in a rental for a few days. The technician who worked on the car personally apologized to me and said he felt bad. The apology was nice and all but that doesn’t replace the fact that my engine is now compromised. Mind you the car is only 2 years old and I bought it brand new. Of course they do not want to replace my engine, even though they are at fault. There inspection is supposed to suffice. Doesn’t mean I won’t have problems down the road due to their negligence of their supposed highly trained technicians as stated on my receipt. I gave them my car uncompromised and they are giving it back to me compromised. Doesn’t seem pretty fair in my eyes. If you get service at this location, please learn from my experience and check over there work.
I have been a long time customer of Sharrett Volkswagen. The employees there have always been top notch, whether you visited for Parts, Service, Sales or Body Shop. They always made you feel like you were their priority. This was my first experience since Sheehy had acquired Sharrett Volkswagen so I was curious if the new ownership would have as much focus towards customer service as the previous dealer group. I would have to say that the Salesman Koty and the Sales Manager Ron have totally exceeded my expectations of customer service from a large dealer group. If you are in the market for a new vehicle, parts service or body shop, I cant recommend them enough. Thanks again guys, keep up the good work!

My car buying process was not easy. I had to make 2 trips from hagerstown to Chambersburg, once to get my title for the car I was trading in.. not their fault. But then NO ONE told me they werent able to accept a debit card, check only, for the down payment all the hours I sat there and I had to go home yet again for my checkbook. So I sat in the finance office with a miserable man who was pretty short and rude with me for no reason (they should be happy I was making a purchase!) which was old and almost a joke signing horrible copies of ancient documents that could barely be read. After about 5 hours, I finally left with my new vehicle. The service department, however, has Elizabeth who is very nice and was on top of everything with my vehicle when I was there for a sunroof issue.We made another GMC purchase with a different dealership a few months later and the process was so much smoother! Sheehy has been around for awhile, but they need to get with the times.

I purchased my car from Sharrett of Hagerstown (now Sheehy) with Preston, who sadly left. My experience with purchasing my car (my first ever) was wonderful! It’s the service center that was a total let down.I’ve been taking my Buick there since I purchased it in 2015. As of September I stopped taking it in - my last oil change I had my family do since it’s a hike from my house in Carroll County, MD. With the COVID-19 pandemic, I haven’t been able to get to them. I had a local repair shop near me diagnose an air bag sensor warning, which Sharrett / Sheehy had replaced at my 55K mile mark for free under the warranty. The issue came up again past the warranty and while my local shop was ready to take on replacing it, they recommended I work with my dealership since it’s safety-related and a pretty hefty repair. When I first called, I spoke with the service manager (Jeff) who pushed back and sent me to GM, who treated me poorly and pushed me back to the dealership. When I called back in I got another associate who said that Jeff was with another customer. He told me that they couldn’t do anything, would need to charge me (again) to diagnose the issue (only to tell me the same thing I already knew from my local guy), and worst of all, said that since I hadn’t been in since September of last year that they would most likely not be able to work with me and I would have to pay full price to repair it. Not cool! I’ve been a customer since I bought the car but haven’t been since then and you hold that over my head? I told the guy that what he said wasn’t right and that I would be taking my business to the local repair shop, who I know will give me the care and attention I have been wanting all along. You just lost a customer! My family also bought their cars from you and will also not be returning.

I recieved professional care when buying a used car from Sharrett, the sales man Mike really took his time to go over the whole car fax report with me too. Most importantly I was able to get a great deal on my daughters first car. I also use Sharrett for service and have always been happy with them!
Oil change took 1.5 hours. The price was OK. The sticker they put on the windshield did not have the correct mileage listed. It indicated that the next oil change would be due almost 300 miles sooner than the correct mileage. They fixed it for me. I will watch everything they do like a hawk in the future.
Maria is a very friendly, patient, and knowledgeable sales person. I came in with a very rough situation, and she made sure to give me the best deal possible. She and Khy spent almost the whole day going through my options with me, making sure I was getting the best out of a bad situation.

The Buying experience with Evan was GREAT! 5 stars there!However, service I only rate at 3.5 stars... Heres why:After 2 months, we had a tire with air we could hear coming out, run it to the shop (Pulled over on the side of the road a few times to fill it up) They THOUGHT here was a nail in the sidewall. (HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN?Also, it wasnt there when they looked) that had come loose and fell out. We had to fight them a bit on the service end. At signing, we purchased the extended super warranty (Auto Care Platinum or something) that they sell with the car that covered road hazard on the tires and rims. They tried to tell us we did not have that coverage. We told them to check AGAIN, and called our sales person to confirm our Auto Care Platinum with service. 2 times. Finally got a call back Youre covered. and purchased a 2nd tired. Ive had so many issues with tires on my other Volkswagen, that road hazard was a must.Make sure you read the fine print on your contract for service plans and push them to honor it. We almost had to pay an extra $150 for a tire that was covered.

Good job putting the stolen Malibuber back together. Id just like to recommend to all to bring prices down to earth. Get back to raising family rather than selling a phone to each person for instance. Im on a train of thought. This car got stolen and it hit me that the car had GPS even though I couldnt keep up the OnStar and the built in phone. But keep that in mind they stole the car with GPS. I should of had some way to shut that down. So should others. Sure we need to make a living . Minimum wage is going up but lets keep striving. Good job putting that back together Alan Jeff.
