I would like to hear from a supervisor in charge of the Hagerstown Office. Not the young unprofessional staff you have working from there. My post would not be pleasant here.

Check Dollar store first before you spend here,The staff at Hagerstown can be more polite and list all their rules and regulations properly.

Was there a couple weeks ago to get a senior appreciation gift. Great selection of all sorts of items.

Although the prices are a little high, Party City has rarely failed to have costume elements that I need for building cosplays for my sons to wear when attending Comic Conventions. Nice selection of wits and other details that can be modified to make sure he costumes my sons request.

My wife had a few items to pick up for a small party tomorrow. Myself and the rest of the family stayed in the vehicle. She had parked in the curb side pickup area by mistake. (I was honestly glued to my phone and didnt notice, entirely our fault.)While my wife was inside shopping a super courteous employee came out and asked if we were here for curbside pickup. I wasnt sure. Then noticed where we are parked. She very kindly offered to let is use the spot for a few minutes, but I moved the vehicle as I was unsure when my wife would be back out.Overall it was a pleasant interaction. The employee was super nice and we were absolutely in the wrong. Also my wife advised her interaction and shopping experience inside was just as pleasant.

The employees were very helpful and I got exactly what I needed to buy for a decent price

Im giving 2 stars based on the fact that the store has good selection and is relatively clean and easy to shop in. I would love to give NEGATIVE stars for customer service. Every time we have ordered balloons here, they have messed things up terribly. Today we had an order for 30 simple colored balloons, to be picked up at 10:30. We arrived at 11, and our balloons were nowhere to be found. We asked the man at the balloon counter, who told us he would ask someone. 10 minutes later he hadnt moved or spoken to anyone, so we got in the regular line to ask the manager, who told us to go back to the balloon counter. The entire time, people were running around talking constantly about how short staffed there were, even though there were at least 4 employees there. They didnt even START blowing up the balloons for our order until 11:30, but they apparently had time to work on orders for later in the day?? It took them exactly 20 minutes to blow up 30 balloons because they all kept getting distracted by one thing or another. I would absolutely recommend going somewhere else if youre trying to get ballons, especially on a Saturday. We were with at least 4 other people whose orders were late, but then people who came in with orders at 11:30 got to leave before us. Makes no sense!

Always well stocked. Employees are helpful. Would be nice if their check out went quicker. Its always the same slow check out.

I PLACED A DELIVERY ORDER THIS MORNING, THEY TOOK MY ADDRESS AND MONEY. THEN CALLED ME JUST NOW TO SAY ITS OUT OF RANGE. I CALLED THE NUMBER BACK AND ITS DISCONNECTED. SO NOW IM OUT MY MOM AND BALLOONS FOR MY SONS BIRTHDAY

Huge selection and well organized. The prices on most items are better than a couple of its neighboring stores that offer the same or similar products. Staff is extremely helpful and polite.

Went here to get a lot of stuff for our wedding good prices great selection. Very attentive staff. Perfect customer service. If your planning an event make this a must stop you will get most of what you need and at a low price.

Party city has a lot of stuff for parties but it took us about 25min to get 2 larger balloons with only one customer ahead of us.. Not really a big deal but if it were me Id have out a little more effort into getting my customers done in a timely fashion. The staff that was work seemed like they had no enthusiasm or didnt care on the outcome of what they were doing to help their customers.

Tons of different options for your celebration or party needs. Would have got a 5 star rating, but probably half of the 20 items I got rang up with higher prices than were marked. If I had not checked Id be out about ten bucks. For the deception they should get a 2 star rating. But the manager handled it perfectly apologized and refunded my money no problems. So they get 4 stars for the way she performed that day.

Honestly, party city is over rated and too expensive for what your are getting. For my sis’s birthday we bought 3 things there and it cost $39.98. We got a small tube of chocolate, happy birthday balloon, and streamers. Then we went over to Dollar Tree (right beside party city) and spent less than $10 and got napkins, table clothes, st Patrick’s decor, and a little gag gift. I 100% suggest you got to Dollar General FIRST, and then go to party city for supplies you couldn’t find.

Store has a great selection but it seems that the employees are very unprofessional. They are either gossiping in a group or no where to be found. One time i was in there and this poor boy was trying to fill balloons up and ring register. He asked for someone to help but no one ever came up. Luckily he was super nice and all the customers were cooperative.

Halloween selection this year isnt impressive I did find some neat decorations pretty cheap!

Prices are very high. You can go to Walmart or the dollar tree and get the same quality plates, table clothes and napkins much cheaper. However, they are one of the only places I have found with a good selection of specific character prints, so if you are looking for something specifically this is your place. You can occasionally find a coupon for here.

9/28/16 I called the Hagerstown, Md. location and spoke with the store manager, Steve Needy. I inquired about whether or not their store would be willing to donate balloons to an Addictions Recovery Event that Im facilitating for my company, as Im a Drug & alcohol counselor. Mr. Needy was VERY rude when he answered. A simple no we dont do that here would have been sufficient, but he proceeded to say that Party city is a drug free establishment and would not be Incorporated or involved in anything drug related. I understand that your establishment is drug-free and I wasnt asking him to support drug use, I was asking for support in Recovery Awareness for those struggling with addiction. I was more then willing to buy the balloons for this event if a donation wouldnt have worked. However, that did not and will not happen. This message was passed along to my staff, and the fact that this much ignorance occurred is sad. We are hosting multiple benefits and fundraisers in the next few months due to the opening of a 24-hr recovery center and would have used this store for many of our needs, including large balloon orders and supplies. However, that will not happen now. I felt that someone should be aware of the rudeness of your store manager.

It was bad enough they didnt have everything we wanted but when we got the check out no one was working. Waited like 5 mins and had to yell loudly twice for assistance and still took about 5 more mins.

Its like every other Party City. Clean, orderly, and everything in its place. Theres nothing I can say thats makes it any better or worse. Perfect place to get the stuff you need for any kind party indeed!

Theyve got a good selection of supplies and a lot of balloons to choose from, but holy moly is the store disorganized! I honestly dont understand how the inner aisles are organized but the outer ones featuring whatever holiday or season is going on look like a toddler has come in and completely destroyed everything. Stock in boxes, stock half in and half out of boxes, boxes laying around everywhere or stacked this or that way. Heaven forbid you go to the bathoom....more boxes in the hallway. Id rather drive to Martinsburg than deal with the disorganization and lack of customer service.

In the time it’s taken me to write this review, I’ve walked through the entire store twice. No one has asked me if I need help finding a product, let alone the fact that I haven’t even seen an associate on this sales floor since I’ve been in. The aisles are riddled with tripping hazards (small balls, product, etc.). Quite frankly, I’ve wasted time coming here.

Customer service needs worked on. How are u a party store but dont have safari or jungle themed party ware. Will stick with dollar tree & Wal-Mart.

On the 9th of Nov 2017 I went to Party City looking for a Pinata. When I could not find a particular one I decided to ask a sales rep. I appeoached 3 sales rep that were in conversation, and asked do you have any 21 birthday pinatas? One rep replied no and the other 2 just stood there. No effort was made to even check; obviously I was disturbing their conversation.My wife and I continued to look and found one of a few of the pinatas. Not wanting to disturb the reps anymore, I grabbed a ladder from the floor and retrieved the item myself. All I can say is poor service and for the reps, get a new job that better fit your skill sets.Businesses with great ideas often fall, because of the people the business recruite to represent the bussiness.
