So we have been in a nightmare situation because I was in a serious car accident & we bought a vehicle from a dealership in Waynesboro & have had so many issues I won’t even begin to go into detail but my boyfriend called Meineke & the guy he spoke with was so incredibly helpful & then I spoke with one of the managers, Alex and she was so understanding, empathetic & helpful; we were both so thankful for them & on top of that, they did the diagnostics on the vehicle & unlike most car repair places who want to get as much out of you as possible, they were super up front & honest & told us that the car had so many HUGE issues that we should take it back. I’m very pleased with our experience there!! I wish they could teach the dealership how to treat customers as well as they do! I would definitely recommend them!

My daughter broke down near this shop on a busy holiday weekend, the only shop open. The mechanics working Sat.. 9-4-2021 from just after 1pm till nearly 4pm were respectful, kind, professional and just plain good at their jobs. As parents of this young woman we were so grateful for their help and the reassurance as she was travelling alone. Thank God for good people like them. !!!!

This was my first time coming to this Meineke location and the gentlemen here definitely didnt disappoint! I called about 30-45 minutes before arriving because I had to have my car towed there. Im so lucky because they were able to service my vehicle upon arriving. I had spoke with James aka Jason (inside joke) and he was able to plug my information in the system before arriving. His customer service was AMAZING, as well as Chris & Chris B! I think this is the best Meineke shop Ive gone to and I typically only get my vehicle serviced through Meineke no matter where I live. The knowledge, customer service, and willingness to help answer questions and solve problems...I highly recommend going to get your vehicle serviced here. I couldnt be more satisfied! Very pleasant service people, I made an online appt, I arrived and was greeted and taken care of immediately. The inspection was done and I had an estimate within 20 minutes. The service was done in a timely manner. I just picked my car up yesterday, so far everything seems absolutely 💯. I would recommend this meineke based on my good experience.

A bit insulted by the mechanic assuming I knew nothing about mechanics of a vehicle. Not a know it all, just disabled and lack the ability to perform many actions. Needed to fix my vehicles Inspected the work and it looks clean and professionally done. I received a veterans discount which was much appreciated and happy to see another business appreciating owe countryman’s service.

I was traveling along the nearby interstate when my car overheated. Not only did they fit my car into their hectic schedule, but they did everything possible to fix my car. They offered advise on how to get safely to my normal mechanic, and reassured me when I got nervous about how reliable my car had become. I saw many different people come through the shop, and everyone was treated with calm respect. It was amazing to watch.

Unfortunately I had my catalytic converter stolen off my vehicle but thankfully I found these guys. They were the most reasonable and fastest to fix this issue without making this situation more stressful. I couldve used my insurance to fix this situation but they made it so affordable that it wasnt even worth turning into the insurance which saved me time and hassle with that. Id definitely recommend them and theyve gained a new customer thru this situation. Thanks crew!!

Worst experience at garage in all my 48 years of life. Went in for brakes and oil change. Brakes ok. Oil change cost me $700. They stripped the threads in the oil pan. Said theyd have it fixed that day so i showed up an hour before closing. When asked if it was done was told they would check. Came back to tell me oil pan never arrived. 4 days later and $700. Horrible experience. Everything about it was horrible definitely my first and last time. STAY AWAY. Didnt care about fixing my car. Also called around and priced oil pans the day they were supposed to be fixing the problem. 2 local auto parts stores had my oil pan in stock both cost under $200 with tax. They charged me $406.35 just for the oil pan. 200% mark up is a little ridiculous especially when you caused the problem dont you think?

Got my car repaired and did everything I asked for. They also got it done quick. I was expecting a week for the repair I was asking for and they got it done in two days. Amazing work.

I have several of my cars worked on here, normally I would go to the dealership or do the work myself but a few years ago I brought my 350z in for an oil change and the guys here were so personable and professional in a real way that I could not help but give them more of my business. They do good work and are honest with their pricing. In my quest to find a shop that I could trust in this area, I truly just happened upon this group of professionals. I am glad I did.

The staff was friendly, to the point and did not try and pressure me into a costly trip to the auto shop. There were a few things they suggested and I declined one, and there was no back lash like some shops. They were quick and I was in and out within 45 minutes. Quality work in a quick amount of time. It is on the expensive side but I used this business for getting the job done efficiently and quickly. This was my own choice and didn’t want to give them anything less than 5 stars just because of the price. I went in knowing I would spend extra money here but I needed my car back quickly.

Beyond routine maintenance, do not use this location. You will be quoted at vastly inflated prices for both materials and the time it requires to complete a service. At $120/hour for labor and quotes of 5 hours for a 45 minute job, youre better off going somewhere else.Update: I was called and informed that all labor calculations are automatic and repeatedly asked to remove my review as my honest review seriously hurts their business

Terrible experience. After having problems around our wheel well, they replaced a few parts and claimed everything was good. Continued having problems a few days later, brought it back. Claimed it was another component of it and took care of it. No big deal. Later on that day, we go outside and see both front tires are flat. Went right into meineke respectfully asking for a refund, clearly you didnt fix the problem. When we asked James how could the flat tires not be correlated to the work they just did, his response was how many years have you worked in the automotive industry. Pat comes in later and backs up James and says we were trying to take advantage them by asking for a refund, ridiculous. Never received any refund. Took it elsewhere to repair. From the looks of it, they dont seem to be too competent outside of oil changes. And dont believe when they say they will reach out to you, they wont.

I keep giving them second chances because they use to be a great place. In the last year or so they’ve been nothing but sloppy. Didn’t discover the cap was left off of my oil until smoke started blowing out on the freeway. The next time they put the wrong oil in and just shrugged when I asked why. Then the last oil change they let me wait forever on an air filter they sold me but didn’t actually have. I was there an hour and a half total before I finally just left without it. The response has only ever been “we’ll give you a little off next time “. Sorry, but that was the last time.

Not satisfied. My car had a noise from muffler. Brought the car to them as scheduled for check up. 1 hour 15 min went by and they still havent looked at it. Neither they said anything about prolonged wait time until I decided to take my keys back. Arrogant people.

Excellent customer service and personalized service I was given options to fix my truck that would best fit my needs. All service was done in a timely matter and the staff treated my truck as if was theirs

I took my vehicle in with a coolant leak but knew there was something else amiss. I asked the team at Meineke to fix the coolant leak and take a detailed look at the vehicle. Unfortunately, the head gasket was cracked and leaks were found going into the transmission. With those two problems found, I knew it was going to be a little pricey but I had set approximately the same amount aside for such emergencies.During the repair process some more issues arose which caused me to dread an increase in price. Luckily for me, I was assured that the quoted price would be honored. The bad news was I would not receive my vehicle back in the timeframe I had hoped for. To compensate, I have been told that my next oil change will be free for the inconvenience of the extended time it took to bring my vehicle back to top quality.I hope that the repairs done during my last visit will bring a few extra years to my old vehicle, well past 200k miles.

Manager is courteous and helpful. Have had work ranging from minor to major jobs on multiple vehicles done here and can recommend the work. Theyll offer the usual up-sells (like fuel system cleaning etc) but arent pushy. A pleasant experience that I can recommend.

Patrick did a great job keeping me updated from estimate to completion of the work. He even stayed late to ensure I could get my truck back in 1 day! The brake service was done well and at a fair price, but the customer service is why Ill do more business with Meineke in Hagerstown!

I came in for a low air pressure check on my tire. They found a hole and a nail. I bought a new tire. The service was excellent and everyone was courteous.

Had full exhaust system replaced which included catalytic converter, exhaust pipe and muffler. Work completed in a timely fashion. Staff was very professional and friendly. The repair was a quality job!!

I took my pickup here because it was the only place that could align it that Saturday, and first off they told me that they could only adjust the tow in/out..... I knew it was a lie because I had just changed the upper control arms, ball joints and tie rod ends the day before, so I showed them what bolts to loosen for adjustments to be made. A few minutes later, they told me that it still wouldn’t be possible to adjust the caster/camber, because the bolts could not be loosened. Once again I knew it was a lie, because I had had them totally apart the day before (the bolts are pressed in, so you have to loosen the nut on the top). Once again, I showed them how to do it, then they messed around for almost 2 hours, and finally got it “not quite perfect”...... it should be fine they said. I agreed to pay, and come back if I had any more problems. I immediately noticed that it pulled badly to the right, and the steering wheel was not straight at all. It also began making an occasional clunk that it never had before. After work today, I stopped in, and told them what was going on, and that I simply wanted my money back. After going around the bush, I simply told him I want my money back, because they clearly did not align it as they professed to, and I do not feel comfortable with having them work on it. In the end the refunded me the full price. When I got home, I jacked the front of my truck up, to find that they never tightened the two camber/caster adjustment bolts on the drivers side. My whole experience with the staff proved that they were not competent.

Staff was very helpful and informative. I needed my air conditioning fixed and my air bag sensor checked out but they also found an additional code for a specific transmission issue. The staff explain everything and are very friendly. The time it took wasnt bad considering I had 3 major repairs and the staff were very professional and polite. The repairs I got were not bad for the prices I paid. Great value overall. Thank you! I used to live in Long Island and the Meineke there was very helpful and I was happy to see there was one in Hagerstown. Same great service. I will be coming back.

Called them several times to make pre-purchase inspection appointments but had to cancel because the seller kept cancelling, but the service they gave me over the phone was amazing. I could tell I can trust them and if I ever do business in Hagerstown I will definitely choose this place.

I having issues getting my car to start. Initially being told it was my alternator, after that repair was completed in the parking lot my car was still having issues. So I go back in and was assured that it was tested multiple times, so I thought maybe it was something that would get easier as time went on. Instead I continued to have issues, took it back in, then they told me it was the battery after it tested fine before, so they replaced that and gave me a $25 off coupon for the inconvenience of last visit. After leaving I was continuing to have issues so I finally took it somewhere else and they replaced the starter and all my problems were solved. Ive contacted Meinike customer service several times, being told that someone will reach out to me about my claim. But no one has called, my services were done in October. Really disappointed in this experience.

They fit us in immediately.After a few minutes, the gentleman came out to explain that the brakes and rotors were actually not bad enough to need replacing! They even checked to back. They were not bad enough to need replacing either. I was really impressed with their honesty. Not to imply that they would have...but they could have replaced what I asked them to and I would have paid. Rather they showed me everything and offered to bring me back when I had more time to spare for a more detailed look into the sound my brakes were making that brought me there in the first place.This was all done very quickly, free of charge, and with extreme professionalism and friendliness.I am so impressed. Great friendly service. I go to them for all my oil changes. I do most of my own work on my vehicles other than oil changes. They always tell me if there is anything else wrong with my vehicles and give quotes so I can choose to have them do the work or do it myself. Yesterday I had them back flush my coolant system. The machine can do a better job than I can do at home, also my heater core was clogged. They gave me a fair price and did great work.I am a loyal customer for life.Brian H

The staff and manager are very very nice. But I feel my repair was mishandled 9 months ago and that caused the need for the repair to be redone. No compensation was offered for the second repair. And they made me feel like it was my fault. Which it was not. They should have addressed the issue last time.

Went in with a check engine lite on. Got an appointment for next day and major repair completed by next day. Very happy with the work and the attitude of the people there.

Yes this franchise is professional, timely and does good work, but most important, they are honest. I came to them a few years ago wanting them to do an expensive job on my vehicle, and they explained how it was unnecessary. They cost themselves a big job and saved my a lot of money. Ever since then I use them for all of my mechanic needs because I know that I can trust them and they have conquered several complex jobs for me.

I would recommend here to anyone who is looking for auto repair in the town of Hagerstown. I worked with Pat the general manager throughout my cars repairs and he kept me up to date on the status of my vehicle while explaining to me what they have done. I needed extensive overhaul to my cars ac. Their specialist on site pinpointed my problems quickly, and gave my car the proper care needed to make sure things all the new changes last. I couldnt be happier with their service and respectfulness throughout this experience.

Not only do the guys here do a great job with our cars but they are super nice and friendly. Just yesterday I took my car for an oil change and while it was in, did my Christmas grocery store run at Martin’s. I had my cart full of groceries when they brought my car around and the gentleman who had serviced my car cheerfully offered to help me load them into my car. Made my day!

Good service by the staff there. Took my car there to change my brakes. They did a good job. At first, I had some noise every time I came to a complete stop right after I just installed the new brakes and went back to explain to them. They assured me that it was the painted rotors I had purchased and they were right. I recommend them for your future car repairs.

I only can say there was one other shop I used to trust for honest answers and fair prices back 20 years ago when I lived in Calvet county, it was a shop called eagle of rt 260, for years I have gone from shop to shop but every time I come here to this Meineke, they always exceed my expectations and I feel the same trust with them I did with that garage in calvet county.. you wont find a more honest shop up here in western MD then this Meineke. .
