I talked to Jeff last Fall (2020) about fixing the rear quarter window on my 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme SX because it would not crank up and down properly. After locating rollers from another 1970 Cutlass Supreme (new ones are not available) I called Jeff and made an appointment to have the repairs done. So, this morning (5/5/2021) I arrived with my car and he was ready and prepared to do the job. In just 2 hours, Jeff not only fixed my window that wasnt working correctly but, he tweaked other small things that he noticed needed attention. Jeff was not only knowledgeable about the job that needed to be done, he is also a professional. There were no cuss words (like I hear when in other shops) and he allowed me to assist him when he needed another hand. I liked that because he realizes that these cars are his customers pride and joy. I am sure that I will be sending my friends to Jeff and will return, myself, at a future date to have my car treated to some new paint. Thank you, Jeff, for being there for us car guys when we need you!!

Spent about 6 months being strung along by Mr. Shaffer to restore my car after he had agreed to do it and seemed all pumped up to do it. Finally he wouldnt even return phone call. Not a good way to do business.

Well i gave it one star cause you had to pick from one to five. I give it 5 rotten tomatoes. Place is low budget poor customer service.Always trying to find a way to swendle some extra money. Has no set prices on work with better customer service and honesty place could move up to two stars. For now it rates zero, owner of shop believes hes the only painter in town. Boast on his own work and its mid level at best. I wouldnt recommend taking a hot wheel over to this place. Had i kid working on my car that has no experience at all. The owner himself took over 60 hours to put on two quarter panels. Charged me for his incompetence of his work. Milks jobs to get paid extra or just flat out doesnt know what to do. I say its both, please stay free and clear of this place go somewhere else as i am doing only thing is i am going somewhere else now but i am taking the major mess ups that was done to my car and. $15,000 out of pocket with me. Oh he just got a rotisserie for cars thanks to me i got it for him.

I brought my 08 Roush to Jeff to replace a factory aluminum hood that was corroding with a carbon fiber hood. The catch was, it had to look factory and I wanted the matte black vinyl stripe replaced with a painted stripe that looked the same. Jeff took the time to listen to what exactly I wanted from the project and he made it happen. I couldnt be happier and it was well worth the trek up from the eastern shore.

Well its good to admit when your wrong.

They are working on my 68 Bronco now. Jeff has been great he even came to my home to give me a estimate on my project because at the time it was just a body on a trailer. Jeff and his crew have kept me ( in the loop) with every step of what they have done so far with text messages with pictures. I will update this review when the project is done bit so far I would highly recommend Shaffer Restoration

I stopped by Shaffer restorations after seeing numerous members in the local mustang community recomending them. Talked with jeff who is a great guy and explains exactly whats going to happen for prep, paint, all of it. I dropped off a few under hood accent pieces for my mustang. The color match is dead on and the pieces look great, they are just awesome.
