Went looking for answer to questions we had on paint, since we are considering painting a full place. Well, the second we worked in we should have turned around and left. The worker Chris continued to sweep the floor no greeting for several minutes. Then had to keep answering the phone. We were estimating in close to $2,000 in paint that we needed. But his lack of customer service skills was enough for us. Out of paint to give us what we need if we needed 3 gallons he has 2 but was willing to give us a higher price one. He didnt know when it would be in. Seemed very uninterested in helping us. Like we were distributing him. So we didnt feel like we should continue getting what we needed and left. In which this place lost a big sale that we went to a competitor and what a big difference. Got what we needed and happy we left here.

The lady working at Sherwin Williams was amazing. She was very informative and guided me to a better alternative than what was suggested on the internet when painting PVC Shiplap on an interior wall. Although she was manning the store on her own, she treated everyone with care and personalize attention, never to get rattled or stressed by the number of folks coming into her store. (4 customers during the time I was there.)

Had them match a color I wanted that was on my other walls. They got the exact match for me. They help you figure where to get the piece from and the size you need. Great job and very helpful

Very helpful staff. First time painters and they talked us through the whole paint selection process. When we called ahead they were very helpful on the phone too. We went in half hour before closing and the staff was more than happy to help us, even though it was just before closing on a weekend. Definitely would recommend just because of the customer service!

Staff at the store was very helpful - explained all the different choices of paints - pros/cons of each. Color matching took 5 min and was out the store in 15min. The store is well spaced inside and no issue with safe distancing.

Was able to place an order over the phone and do curbside pick-up within a half hour! Associate was super pleasant on the phone and very helpful! Made the whole process very easy.

Lauren was a big help. There was another lady working there as well which I did have the pleasure of getting her name but she was amazing! The helped me try to find the color I was looking for which I kept seeing differently because of the lighting. They were very patient! If you are in need of paint, I would definitely recommend visiting the Hackettstown Sherwin-Williams. They will not disappoint!!

Ordered solid deck stain color and what I received was several shades lighter than the color sample. Additionally, I was quoted one price for the gallon of paint ($44.), but then, when she brought the paint to me, I was told that the price she quoted me was incorrect and she charged me $50.!

Good customer service. The one downside about this shop is that it didnt have the base paint that I had purchased earlier on with one of my projects, so I ended up having to drive to the Ledgewood location to get the match to my paint.

Dont buy Sherwin-Williams Paint. Over priced and the quality of paint does not wash well. I used soap and water to remove dirt from my wall and it took the paint off the wall.
