Excellent regular and seasonal selections of beer along with uniquely delicious spiked seltzer flavors. Imperial Progress IPA, June Bug IPA and cucumber seltzer were great. Comfortable inside and outside seating, clean restrooms. Friendly service.

3rd brewery in New Jersey in 3 days. The beer was absolutely amazing. Cool atmosphere. Great Merch. They were having their 6 year anniversary. Uncle Dino and I really enjoyed ourselves here before the wedding we were attending started.

If you want to treat yourself to a unique delicious drink try the Pistachio Seltzer, you wont be disappointed. The staff is friendly, the drinks a good and the music is the jam. This spot is worth a trip.

FAVORITE LOCAL BREWERY! We have a kegorator at home and it is always so difficult to pick which keg we want. They have so many good beers and great seasonal beers. The owner/head brewer is so nice and personable. Alway a great environment. It also looks like they have outdoor greenhouses now!! I also always feel safe there. I am not a seltzer person, but their pistachio seltzer is perfect. Really all of them are great.

Having an amazing experience at ManSkirt brewing co Joe the manager was very generous to introduce himself and asked if I needed anything and Daniel gave excellent recommendations based on tastes I enjoy(they even have flavored seltzer which was amazing!) from L to R in my pic octoberfest, cinque you Belgian triple, imperial progress ipa and jalapeno infused seltzer all phenomenal will def return here beyond doubt come try it out!

The beer and service are very good, but they need to put some money into the decor. The building is very cool as the brewery is housed in an old bank, complete with a vault door. But the seating is at folding chairs at fold up tables and there isn’t much to look at inside beside the brewing equipment. A little furniture and decor upgrade would go a long way. The beer is excellent and the staff, including the owner and brewer, are very friendly and knowledgeable about the beer. The list focuses on German styles which are nice and malty though there are other choices as well. It’s good for a beer crawl of the breweries of the area.

Of all the local breweries these guys have the best beer of the lot.Great tap room, great brews and very dog friendly. The bar staff if knowledgable and a great time is effortless.

Beyond impressed. Their beer menu is versatile and rotates throughout the seasons. Whether it is a pilsner or an IPA, a Man Skirt beer is of the utmost quality. That terrific care that they put into the product is also found in their service. Man Skirt has taken the COVID challenge head-on and now offers an outside option in the colder months, the Esigarten Suites. These private huts allow your friends and you to enjoy a beer or hard seltzer outside while staying warm and semi-enclosed. We noticed as another group left their suite, our server, Danny, took extra time to wipe it down from the table to the chairs to the walls to the door. They are COVID-compliant, enforcing state regulations while remaining welcoming and friendly. Man Skirt Brewing is worth a special trip.

Man Skirt is an awesome microbrewery with a draft list that has something to suit everyone. They consistently feature one easy drinking IPA, a few flagship staples, and some seasonal brews that are typically oriented towards Belgian ales. The staff are always knowledgeable and friendly, and they’ll offer to throw an extra sample in if you order two flights (so you can taste the whole lineup). The taproom has communal tables and high tops in a warehouse setting. A small selection of games and Man Skirt swag are available for those in need, and you can order food to bring from a variety of local options. Both the indoor and (new) patio are dog friendly. Highly recommend!

Loved the venue and how the incorporated the bank into the brewery. The beer was okay, they are more focused on IPAs it seemed when I went. I had a flight and I would say they were all about the same in my opinion, nothing stood out for me. The server was very nice and quite helpful in giving her opinion of what I might like.

It took me almost 9 months to finally stop in this place, but when I did I was impressed. The beer is fantastic, and the owner is extremely friendly. Joe has poured his heart and soul into this place, and while it is a little spartan inside, you have to understand just how far its come in a short time, and hes always adding improvements to the place. I love that its a smaller place, though its expanding and can get quite the crowd on the weekends. It has become a weekly tradition for me to try and make it out here to enjoy some beer.

Ok I dont normally do this but this is incredible and I have to share.A few months ago, my wife and I visited #manskirtbrewing in Hackettstown to eat lunch and have a couple drinks before seeing a movie. I had an Irish stout they made, and I really loved it. I made sure to tell the two employees there that I loved it, and that I wouldnt complain if I happened to see it at the local liquor store in the future. I left a nice tip and went on my way.Fast forward to today. I received a knock at my door, and when I answered it I was surprised to see one of the gentlemen from the brewery standing there with this 64oz bottle and an old receipt in his hand. He asked are you James? I responded that I was. He hands me the bottle and says on the house, have a great day! and leaves.Bear in mind, I am not a regular here, nor did I place an order for this. Ive been there three times since we moved in September. This was an action this business took entirely on their own. This is one of the truest examples Ive ever seen of a business that genuinely cares about its customers. You can be damn sure Ill be patronizing them consistently in the future. Thank you Man Skirt Brewing!

Visited Man Skirt Brewing BEFORE it was opened and Joe Fisher was wonderful. He let us in, gave us a personal tour and sampling of his brews all while he talked about his love of beer & brewing. You can see he truly enjoys what he is doing. Only good things to say for both Joe and the brews!

Very cool microbrewery in a building that had formerly been a bank at a main crossroads downtown.

Nice place, friendly staff, good beer. Good place for groups with a couple of communal long tables and a couple of high tops. Metered street parking with a municipal lot not far away.

Decent beers but nothing to rave about. Very good location right in the middle of town with lots of food choices nearby. I have visited 3 times so far and theyve never had more than 3 beers on tap. Id like to see more aggressive pricing, charging $6 for a 14 oz shaker glass pour AT the brewery is a little nuts, this is not NYC (in fact I can find beer cheaper in NYC!). They do at least participate in the NJ Craft Beer Club, 10% off, its not much but its better than nothing.

Good selection of good beer. Could use a little entertainment in the form of cards, a TV or something but otherwise a cool space inside an old bank. Had a flight and all the beers were a step above your average brewery.

Really good beers served in the relaxed atmosphere of a former bank. Joe, the owner and brewmaster, is a really friendly guy. They cant serve food but youre welcome to bring it in from other restaurants. They also have growlers for take out.

First time at Man Skirt. The space was smaller than what I though it would had been but it was good. The 2 beers I had were great. The guy that helped me an my friend since Joe was busy with others was very good an told us a lot about the beer and stuff

Been here twice now. First time on a Groupon. Brought two filled growlers home to enjoy after out beer flights. Returned to refill growlers with two new brews. Friendly staff. Can sit at bar for a beer or sit at a table as well.

Disappointed it took me this long to try this place! Great beer and friendly atmosphere, nice open area (most places have a smaller seating area). The bar staff was very attentive and friendly. Prices are fair. Will return soon.

Went there for the first time yesterday and loved it Try the Erebus a terrific black beer with lots of flavors. Friendly staff and very dog friendly so bring along the pup.

Fantastic experience, a real beer lover’s paradise. Lots of authentic options, trend-resistant brewing. Anyone can make a milkshake lactose NEDIPA, or goji berry pink Himalayan salt gose. The true test of a brewer’s skill is preserving the delicate balance of malt, bitterness, and characteristics of the beer in question. Man Skirt excels at this. Can’t wait to go back.

Stopped by Man Skirt Brewing a few days ago. They are certainly brewing some excellent beers! Tried all four offerings. They do offer flights, full pours, and growlers for take home.A golden ale: light easy drinking. A pale ale: nice body, biscuit and toasted up front, with a nice carmel finish. A porter: chocolate and coffee notes. And finally a hoppy porter which is a beer brewed by Man Skirt on behalf of a home brew constant winner, and I certainly understand why it won; this is a very nice brew - excellent body with awesome notes of chocolate, coffee, with a rounded hop finish.Certainly stop by - its definitely worth checking out!

This was a terrible experience. We bought a Groupon entiteling us to two beer flights and two tours. When we got there, the man waved his hand at the brewing equipment and said thats your tour, youre an expert now. The room was loud, overcrowded, and there were toddlers running around everywhere. I do not recommend this place at all.

Went here on a brew tour of the Hackettstown area. The beer here was great, they have a decent amount on tap and its delicious. I went with six people and we all got something different and shared, and the only one that received negative reviews was the Braggot. The concensus amongst us was that it tasted like cough syrup. Everything else was so good. The staff were friendly and helpful. I had to knock off one star because of the atmosphere. The old bank is cool and I liked the artwork, but the seating is very cold. Its not an environment that you want to hang out in for very long. I feel if they warmed and cozied up the space, it would go a long way to make it more more welcoming.
