Debbie is the best! Wonderful to talk to, and she gives a GREAT haircut. Ive gotten a lot of compliments. The price is extremely reasonable, too. Five stars and then some! I cant wait to go back.

I’ve been coming here for quite a while and I have been nothing but happy with how my hair turned out, Jerry did a fantastic job on my hair! I would go to other hair salons and they would cut my hair way too short and I was not happy, which made me have trust issues with going to other salons. Thankfully, there were no problems when I went to Jerry, I told him exactly how I wanted my hair, which was only a trim (the dead ends cut off) and because I wanted to keep it long and ever since I’ve been going to him, he has done a beautiful job, because he would blow dry it and then straighten it and it would come out really nice and healthy.I would definitely recommend this salon, they are very sweet people, and professional, they keep their salon clean and they provide a warm and comfortable environment and make the customers feel welcome!

Jerry is well seasoned and absolutely knows what he is doing across the board. Very knowledgeable. You will not be disappointed from color to the haircut. The hair products he recommends to use which they also sell are fabulous, especially with the hard water we have in the area. I love the fact you are with the same person from the moment you walk in the door and not passed along like being on an assembly line like most salons anymore. I highly recommend this salon. You wont be disappointed.

I left the salon feeling like a million bucks! Debbie colored, cut and styled my hair-toperfection! My family and mostly my husband. Loved the look! I HIGHLY recommed her! She is phenomenal !

I had TWO appointments scheduled and they canceled BOTH only hours before my appointments. I did not see the cancellation reason at the bottom. I then received another cancellation of my upcoming appointments with the following denial reason BECAUSE I LEFT A NEGATIVE REVIEW: It was the morning get it straight and you are not welcome in our salon. They said I was not welcome in their salon because I left a negative review. I called to complain and the man on the other line was SCREAMING at me. The absolute worst service. You cannot deny a customer entry to your salon for leaving a bad review, just saying.

MY APPOINTMENT WAS DENIED BECAUSE MY MOTHER LEFT A BAD REVIEW. TERRIBLE.

I took my teenage daughter to see Donna. She really took the time to see what my daughter wanted and provided awesome advice on the best style. What I liked most was the candor with which Donna gave her recommendations for my daughter’s hair even when it wasn’t necessarily what she wanted to hear. The end result was great and most importantly my daughter loved it ! I am pretty sure my daughter will want me to take her back :)

As always my experience at Creative Twist was amazing. My stylist always knows exactly how to cut my hear to give it the best look because she keeps up to date on the current techniques and trends. The employees at the Salon area always very friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable and helpful. I always look forward to going to see Donna as she has become not only my stylist but my friend over the past 30 years that I have been going to see her.

Donna was so considerate and really listened to what I was going for with my color...I trusted her and together we came up with the PERFECT shade! So ready for fall, so happy with it. It was my first visit to the salon and I cant wait to go back!

Deb is just amazing!!! My hair always looks awesome after shes done but sadly I can’t work her magic and never can recreate the same look. I just don’t have her talent. This is my favorite salon. I have been going there for many years to get my hair cut, colored and styled by Jerry and have never been disappointed! The point system is great because you can get free quality products and services. It’s warm and welcoming and the staff is very professional. Free snacks and drinks make it an even greater experience.

I highly recommend going to Debbie! She was super nice and very educated about hair coloring! I came in asking for highlights but I didn’t want it to look streaky. This is very hard to do in dark brown hair. She gave me gorgeous natural looking Carmel highlights. I absolutely love it. Also the owner Jerry is extremely kind and caters to your needs. This is a really well run salon. Highly recommend!

Best experience Ive had since moving to the East Coast 5 years ago! Debbie really took the time to explain my options and make suggestions for what would work best for my hair. Which is great because I am pretty much clueless when it comes to hair. Great color, cut and atmosphere! I will be back. So happy to have found this place.

Ive shopped around many salons and barber shops, finally came here and they were the most knowledgeable and skilled. If you want your hair cut a specific way, this is the place to go. Professional and friendly salon, and most importantly they did a great job. Used Donna and she was awesome.

Went in for an eyelash lift and tint (and an eyebrow re-shape) and I could not be happier. It absolutely exceeded my expectations. Darlene was professional, knowledgable- her room was neat and clean- and I am thrilled with the results. Extremely reasonable priced and I will be back!!!

Great experience. I’m always nervous when I go to do something on my face. Lucky me I was on Marlene’s hands which the experience couldn’t have been better. She’s passionate about her job, very knowledgeable and always explains the treatment, options and subjection depending on your skin type. My facial and peeling were beyond expectations and I will definitely coming back. She’s not only experienced on her job but also very friendly and fun person to be with. Love it.

I cant say enough about my experience at creative twist salon(as usual!!)! Jerry is sooo kind, knowledgeable, patient, talented, etc. He LISTENS to exactly what I want. He makes suggestions, takes the time to show examples and really explain how things work, how it will come out, why he is doing things a certain way... I ended up with hair BETTER than I wanted! Took my daughter there this morning. She left feeling very happy with her hair style. That alone is enough for me to give them top rating, but besides that, the place is quaint and clean, I was offered a variety of drink options including cappuccino and lattè, my daughter was offered a variety of child friendly drinks and a snack. Ive never seen that kind of service out this way. As we walked out my daughter said lets go here from now on. Shes usually a tough customer :).

I come here every three weeks and Debbie and Allison are great; I love them. They are knowledgeable, professional and thorough. This is a great salon with many high end color lines. I would recommend Creative Twist to everyone!

First time getting my eyebrows done and they look great. Friendly staff. Was offered coffee/refreshments after being there for only a few minutes and felt very welcomed. Will definitely be back for more!

All though the salon is clean and staff is friendly. I do not recommend because of pricing, i got a simple trim and was charged around 70$. I’ve gone here twice once for a cut and then a hair color, although it wasn’t bad it was not the greatest for the price you’re paying . SUPER EXPENSIVE

I would rate it more stars if it wasnt for the fact I went there to get my hair done. But the girl who does the eyebrows and the lash lift was the first one to greet me and I ended up doing a lash lift and my eyebrows with her. I dont regret it! They were beautifully done!!! But this hair salon really needs more people working

I finally found a stylist who listens. I get my hair colored regularly and love it. The color is natural looking. The staff is very polite and friendly and make you feel comfortable. I would recommend this and have to my friends.

First time customer who needed an updo for a wedding. Came prepared with picture of my request. After 2 hours it was the worst look I ever had from a hairdresser. Jerry spent 2 hours and charged me $158! It in no way looked like what I wanted or even close to salon updo! I came home, cried, took all the pins out, rewashed and curled my own hair. Such a disappointing experience and waste of money!

It was not worth the $70+ dollars (not including tip, or the styling products I purchased). I asked for a trim and undercut without a wash/dry. The trim was fine, but the undercut was not well done (uneven, and was not done correctly). While the stylist was friendly, I just dont think she was familiar with what I had asked for. They offer a lot of services, products, and beyond, but I was left feeling disappointed, both with my cut, and the cost. I wound up stopping at a different salon on my way home who was able to fix the undercut.

I have gotten my hair color and highlights done by Jerry at the Hackettstown Michaels Salon for over 10 years. I am very happy with the service, as my color always looks extremely close to my natural tone. I frequently get compliments from friends on my hair color and highlights - that says it all. Also, Allison always does a top-notch job making my eyebrows look pretty : ) This is a comfortable and casual salon and coming here is like visiting family.

Not very pleased with establishment. The owner is rude and not accommodating. He is demanding and doesnt listen. I have no problem telling everyone to stay away.

I had an absolutely terrible experience at Michaels. For my sisters wedding a couple of us from the bridal party had appointments to get our hair done at this salon. We were under the impression that curling our hair would cost about $35. When we got there though we were informed that curling was considered a formal up do and would cost $90. When they realized they were going to lose our business the stylist told me he would still curl my hair for $35 but just in loose, bouncy waves. This seemed fine with me so I decided to get my hair done. It did not turn out the way I expected. My hair did not look good and the stylist refused to fully curl my hair because it would take too much time, which is odd because the salon was empty and it seemed all they had was extra time. Within two hours the curls were completely gone. The other bridesmaids were able to find another salon (Lighten Up in the Village Green) where everyone was respectful and complied to what they asked.In summary: Michaels Salon is rude and a rip off with unsatisfactory results. If you are looking for a salon in Hacketstown, go to Lighten Up instead. I hope I save someone the hassle and headaches that Michaels gave to many of us.

Do not go here if you have curly hair. Dont do it. Just dont, trust me.I have such a hard time getting a decent haircut since I have very curly hair. I decided to try this place out because its local. I straightened my hair out at home before my appointment and had a dry haircut done because I thought it would be easier for the stylist to get my hair cut even this way. Well at the salon it looked ok, but once I washed my hair at home I was shocked to see that my hair was completely uneven on one side. I paid about $60 for a simple dry haircut and Im sorry but I expected more. Now I have to shell out more money to go somewhere else to have my hair fixed. I really want to go back to Michaels and have them fix it for me free of charge, but how can I trust them? I have been growing my hair out for quite some time now and now I have to have it cut short again just to even it out. I am so angry and frustrated....

Allison was amazing ! She gave me a perfect blowout for a wedding I have to go to out of state. She showed me how to freshen up my hair so it will be perfect.
