This place is amazing. Everyone is so quick to want to help you and very patient. We were there twice and of course my husband could not decide if he was going to be in a particular wedding or not due to Covid. One week before the wedding he decides to be in the wedding. An employee Melisa helped us both times. The whole wedding party is from the Mobile and Pascagoula area so they were getting all their tux and dresses in Mobile. Last Saturday while we were there she had so much patience with us because I literally had to call the mobile tux place to get all the numbers to the ties, shoes, no etc. and she had so much patience. I went to Bridal and Formal Boutique to shop for a dress for an upcoming pageant I had. It was my first time going in, and I was blown away by how amazing of an experience I had! The boutique had so many dress options exactly like what I needed. Cole helped me find the PERFECT dress and earrings. Ask if you can pay in cash, and they won’t make you pay taxes. They showed me their sample sale room which I was interested in. I made my appt strictly around that. They offered to show me the other floor dresses as they were 10% off which I declined because I said 10% was too little. And my consultant SAID she respected that! As I’m going to say yes to the dress my dad interjected and said he will be paying. She then said the sample dress I chose was only 10% off. Why didn’t she speak up! It was the first dress I tried on. I was there an hour and she didn’t say a thing after I was clear that I was there for a cheaper dress. Why was a sample dress 10% along with the rest of the store? Might as well get a new one right? Then said she would try to get it 20% but her whole attitude changed she was so nice then so rude. Even if she was able to get the 80% off I would decline because I wouldn’t have given them a penny. Also if you know you’re offering cheaper dresses why would you have your questionnaire start at 1500? Then get mad at me when I choose the lowest number YOU offered? I wouldn’t be mad at the discount at 10% if she was just transparent. The. Telling me dad to get cash like that was just so wrong. You don’t know anyone’s money situation. And most banks have limits at ATMs!

Took my son to get fitted for a tux kind of last minute. They were wonderful and his tux was pretty much perfect. Love the atmosphere there and everyone is very nice and helpful.

Had to cancel my wedding in 2020 due to covid and we rescheduled a TENTATIVE date for 2021, and no one bothered to follow up. I called several times and no one answers and they have the audacity to say theyre going to charge me for two rentals. Sorry customer service!!!!

Did not expect to find my dream dress so easily but the very first dress I tried on at House of Tux was it! Whitney was amazing still helping me in and out of 20 other dresses even though I’d already chosen the first!! I was quoted an initial 6 months for my wedding gown, then told the particular designer I chose usually gets it in in 5, but before I even left the building I was told they were able to get my dream dress in ONE MONTH!!!! The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, fast, and efficient! So glad I chose HoT!!!

I loved Bridal and Formal Boutique House of Tux as soon as I walked in. The Christian music that was being played gave me great hope that I would be finding my dress! The service here is absolutely over the top! We drove an hour and a half and it was so worth the drive. I arrived at Bridal and Formal Boutique 8 minutes before they closed (shame on me!), and the staff greeted me warmly and asked how they could help. They made me feel welcome and instantly identified the exact dress I was looking for from a photo online. Even though I told them I was planning to order from another store (the bride is placing the order for all the bridesmaids dresses at a store in Georgia) and just needed to try the dress on for size, the associate treated me with the same kindness as she would’ve done for someone shopping for an expensive wedding dress. If I was getting married anytime soon (or going to a prom, or literally anything requiring a dress), I would want to give a place like this my business! Excellent service and inventory.

Purchased my daughters Sr prom dress and the entire experience was awesome. She received one on one attention while trying on her dress all way through alterations. Due to school rules we had to add a modesty panel and they totally exceeded our expectations. Kudos to alterations. The Coffee shop was an added plus where Dad could go and wait while we shopped. Can’t say enough good things about our experience. Tabitha was incredible and ensured our every need was taken care of. Highly recommend for formal attire needs.

My 2020 Senior worked hard to purchase her final prom dress. Seniors across the nation is in shock and despair with news that they will not have the experience of this lifetime milestone. Prom and graduation has been stripped from them due to this National Emergency. We called Bridal and Tux to humbly request our daughter be allowed to return the prom dress that she will NOT be unable to use. We were told that she could sell it herself, wear it next year (if it fits or she doesnt serve her country instead of attending college) because they could not take the hit. Placing the hit on these devastated students is apathetic and appalling. Where is your honor? Businesses everywhere are making special sacrifices due to this unprecedented event. Do not patronize a business that is willing to victimize 2020 Seniors even further than they have been so far.Received a call from the owner to accuse us of ‘bashing’ her business. I want to be clear, this is an honest account of what is currently happening. She continued to add by suggesting we have a prom in our back yard, make the best of it and good luck. Wanted everyone to know what you have to look forward to.

I had tried on so many wedding dresses before coming to Bridal and Formal Boutique so i was apprehensive about giving it another go. But my consultant Adrian listened to my wants and fears and hand picked 5 stunning dresses for me to try. After the first one I knew I had found my dress all thanks to her! Whitney was my consultant on this past Saturday (4/20/19). I had a huge entourage (11 people). She was very accommodating and nice. I ended up finding my dress within 30 minutes. Great selection of beautiful gowns. It helped that I filled out the bridal questionnaire before my appointment. I wasnt shown any gowns that were out of my budget (Thank God!). I had an amazing experience here and would highly recommend it to everyone I know. It was a great touch adding the doorbell to the boutique. Brides are able to press it when they find their dress. It was the icing on the cake! Going to go back and have my maid of honor find her dress here.

Does not do alterations for dresses that are not bought at their location. I asked for recommendations, figuring that a local person in the industry would have the best advise and they told me I need to go google it. Clearly I’ve already done that to find them in the first place. Was offset by the lack of kindness.

I 100% recommend this place for anything! They are the sweetest! I said yes to my wedding dress here and had Alexandria as my consultant. She was so so sweet and so understanding. She didn’t rush me or make me feel like I had to make a choice. She made me feel like we had been friends for years because she just has that kind for personality. I choose the dress for certain reasons I wasn’t sure about personally. A week later I called and said I wanted to change if that if possible if not it’s okay because there was a significant price difference and other difference. She said send me a picture of the dress that you want and I’ll take care of it. Five minutes later I had all the information I needed. This was honestly the best experience.

We had an awful experience with both of my grandsons suits for my wedding after 2 times of them trying to fix the problems we gave up jackets were too small that they couldn’t button them and one of my grandsons white shirts was so big we had to roll the sleeves 2 times. My sons best friend got married the week before me and their suits did not fit. Would not recommend this store, not to mention the suits came in 3 days before the wedding and in the mist of final wedding arrangements we were having to go back and forth to try to get the problems fixed

I made an appointment, receiving a text follow up afterwards and the day before.When I arrived everyone was pleasant. Ms. Cindy was my bridal consultant. I couldnt have been more pleased working with her. In the event I need any other services from this boutique I will request Ms. Cindy. She walked me to the showroom and based on my likes we pulled dresses. What I appreciate most is she took her time to listen to me. At no time did I feel rushed or pressured.I came without my mother or bridesmaids on this first visit and she did her absolute best to keep them filled in as I tried on dresses. On my return visit with a bridesmaid, she again exuded that same sweet personality and professionalism. As I tried on the same two dresses for hours coming to my final conclusion she was there and happy to help.Although this boutique is large, I am appreciative of the personalized experience they offer. There may have been lots of people there on my Friday and Saturday appointments, but I never noticed because of how tailored my experience was.Truly this shop has something for everyone ranging from flower girls to evening dresses. I bought my wedding dress from here, I had a wonderful experience each time. I went in telling myself I was not going to make a decision that day, and the lady ( she was young and I do not remember her name at the moment) helping me was so patient and not pushy at all. I cannot say enough good things about her. The dresses they have are gorgeous! I brought in pictures of the dresses I liked and she quickly found everything I like about all those pictures in one dress. I was super impressed I thought it was going to be hard to find my dress. after trying a few on I knew which one. I told them I would think about it over the weekend but by Monday I was going back in to purchase! The prices are not terrible either considering how much bead-work and alterations were done. Had a mostly positive experience with this store! Whitney went above and beyond for me to encourage and eventually chose my dream wedding dress. She was very knowledgeable, sweet, and helpful. I had been to several Shops before this one was always left discouraged but not here. I am from mobile and while it was a drive for me it was very worth it! I am using this place for my bridesmaids dresses and suits for the men. The alterations department leaves a lot to be desired which is why I said mostly positive. I have had many issues with that department that one one could seem to fix. Parts of my dress were taken up unevenly causing my dress to sit crooked while wearing, and the top to be an uneven number of inches from my neck. These issues were very obvious but the lady doing my alterations refused to acknowledge my problems. I finally got things to be fixed in an okay manner but was far from happy or satisfied but with my wedding quickly approaching I had no other choice. Over all a pleasant experience. However, I may suggest taking somewhere else for alterations.

Highly satisfied with the customer service, sent a message through Google on a holiday (they were closed) and still received multiple answers. I couldnt he happier with my purchase and the customer service, I will be going back for my next suit.

The Ladies at House of Tux were wonderful. I was very impressed with the selection of colors and tux options. Knowing I did not want to spend a lot of time in the store, Megan quickly measured me for the tux, then fitted me for my shoes and I was out of the door within minutes. Friendly and quick to help me. My sister is getting married next month, and she and the bridal party bought dresses and rented tuxes from Bridal and Formal Boutique & House of Tux. We should have known there would be issues when we were picking out the bridesmaids gowns. The fitter taking measurements wanted to order me a size 14 gown, but I am not a size 14 (I tried on a size 10 and it fit). My daughter is a size 00 and they wanted to order her a size 6. At the first fitting, my size 10 dress fit properly, but the dress arrived from the manufacturer with a broken zipper. When my daughter tried on her size 6 dress, it was so big that it fell right off her onto the floor. We were told there wasnt enough time to order another dress and they would have to alter it to fit - and they were charging me for the alteration. A $162 dress and they charged me an additional $65 to alter when it wasnt measured properly to begin with. On top of that, her dress also arrived from the factory with the boning and cups sewn folded in, and they wanted to charge extra to fix that as well. This drove the alteration price up over $85.When I tried to discuss the problems with the owner, she told me Im over it, Im done. This is not good customer service. It is not my fault your employee doesnt know how to take measurements properly. It is not my fault the dress manufacturer sent faulty dresses. Customers should not be expected to pay for mistakes made by your employee and the dress manufacturer. To make matters even worse, my sisters wedding dress has runs and stains on it that happened during the alteration process at your bridal boutique.Not once were we offered any type of apology. A simple Im sorry would have gone a long way. I will never again give Bridal and Formal Boutique & House of Tux a penny of my money and I recommend people shop elsewhere.

I went for a tux to get married in. I went 3 times total and this review is the overview from all 3 visits. The overall quality seemed very good to me. The building was kinda blah and parking was horrible, especially coming from the east, which is why I gave appeal a good rating. The service was excellent. I walked in the door (they have an annoying door chime, by the way) and was greeted by 3 people almost immediately. After I noticed the tux I liked, the staff showed me all of the colors available, all of the styles available, and the was willing to dress the dummy in all of them (I told them they didnt have to do all that). After colors were chosen, we figured out my sizes, and I told them I would be back to pick it up. When I returned, the staff immediately attended to me again and pulled retrieved the tux I ordered. They let me fit it right then and there to make sure everything was right. The tux itself fit like a glove. I paid them and left again. On the return date, we ended up forgetting to bring the tux back. It was the honeymoon after all. ;-) In any event, I returned it the morning after fully expecting to pay the late fee, and they took the tux, wrote in that I returned it, waived the late fee, and sent me on my way! Needless to say, I was thoroughly impressed. Its not often that people will give you little things that make all the difference.

Ive used House of Tux for many events and special occasions and they have been very consistent. The service is great, the staff is knowledgable, and the prices are very competitive! To be honest, I dont really look for an alternative at this point.

I went to pick up dress I paid 300 dollars for it had hole on side than came back wk later pick it up after they suppose to had fix it but seen my daughter put on started walking the hole they suppose fix was still there. I will never go back & I suggest if u need anything alter dont let them do it.

They have an abundance of beautiful dresses. Sharlette was amazing at helping me find my dress! I’m pretty indecisive and she asked the right questions to help me narrow down the dresses until I found the perfect one. She’s the best!

I paid $25.00 for my daughters measurements and they were not even correct. 2in off on her hips and they did it right in front of the front door. Couldnt even take us to the side or anything. Unprofessional and workers that obviously do not know what they are doing.
