If you would like to be humiliated and have money stolen from you and a non fixed car then this is the place for you!! This man was very rude, incompetent and unprofessional. I brought my car here for an ac repair and I told this person on the phone I wanted a diagnostic only. The car comes out and he told us the car was finished, filled with Freon and ready to go. So I’m assuming it’s fixed. After the card has been swiped and payment made he then proceeds to state oh and by the way we couldn’t find a leak or a problem but it’s filled with Freon and it’s still not blowing cold. It may be a compressor issue which will be another charge to figure out and then replace. So you mean to tell me you couldn’t tell me you didn’t fix my problem not diagnose before charging me for Freon that did absolutely nothing??? When I was lying I thought it was fixed which he made it seem to be. Then when I proceeded to ask for a refund he laughed in my face. Whatever you do never ever ever take your car here. There are better more professional mechanics that truly care about their customers and will not rip you off. A mechanic looked at my car for free after I told him this and he fixed my ac and it is now blowing the coldest it has ever been. And guess what? Only a sensor was blown. Not only are they rude here, but incompetent. Please take your money elsewhere. Hope this review saves someone else the trouble !**in response to their comment below… I contacted corporate and they told me they would reach out to their store as it was locally owned. Kimberly at the corporate resolution center got back to me and told me the store said they were not giving me my money back and basically I as a customer was wrong. Goes to show you what they think of folks who spend their hard money to try to get their cars properly fixed.

The team at the Creosote Rd., Gulfport, MS location of Meineke is amazing! I had an unusual problem with a piece of custom trim on my Mustang GT, but they took care of it in less than an hour like it was an every day request! Their customer service rep Heather and mechanic Michael did what I needed but then also came up with creative ideas for an even better solution. And it didn’t cost me $400 like it did at a local Ford dealership to get my spark plugs changed! I will be back for everything I need related to my Mustang GT Beast. Outstanding customer service. Joe is great, the work was completed within 24 hours and I have my car back. It was a very frustrating situation for me thieves tried to steal my catalytic converter good news was they did not get it bad news was the cut through half of it. I wish the Honda dealer had not charged me way too much to say there’s a hole in your catalytic converter. Meineke charged me a fair and reasonable price thank you

I have visited this Meineke location a few times for oil changes now. The staff & manager there have always been very helpful & pleasant to interact with.. I will say that this last time I got my oil changed there, after sitting in the waiting area for a while, I overheard the employee mention that their internet was down. I did not think much of it, until I overheard the employee tell another customer that they were only accepting cash at that time for payment. Upon asking I was informed no checks would be accepted, which in this day & age I understand why, but it is still an inconvenience. After that I noticed they put a sign on the entrance to let people know.. Quite a few people, including myself, ended up having to use an ATM (having to pay $$ service fees) at a fuel station across the street to be able to pay for services. Which is the reason I only gave 4 stars.

I won’t be goin back. Charged me $1,200 and didn’t get truck fixed. Charging the highest price I believe. My back tire on driver side as I was headed back to my hotel room started smoking! I take it back and he says “ Oh it could possibly lock up on you”! Isn’t that something I should know before you put it parts on?? So I took my business to Good Year and they fixed me right on up. I appreciate you Good Year!!

Be sure to ask how many tickets are ahead of you and how long you may be waiting before your ticket is started.b). Be sure to ask how long your services may take.c). If at all possible have alternate transportation, because if not you may be sitting there all day, they are very busy.Overall they are very helpful.

Very nice and friendly staff . I live in La.and went to Mississippi for the weekend my spark plug went out they changed the plug and coil in a timely manner. I just feel it was a little higher than it should have been . When I changed the other one at home it cost around $100. for plug and coil . I was charged $164 for the coil . Other than that it was a pleasant experience.

Update: they refuse to fix the damage they did or refund the money on the vehicle. Say it’s our word vs theirs and they didn’t create the issue. The owner will tell he isn’t a mechanic and doesn’t understand mechanics, goes by whatever the manager says.We took in our 2014 dodge to have the spark plugs changed. They ended up having to replace a head. We were originally told the head was salvaged, today he stated it was re-maned. We were extremely patient, they had the truck late September until February. We ended up paying $1400. When we got the truck back the exhaust manifold was not on all the way, it won’t shift correctly, and the engine is knocking. At this point it will need an engine swap to run again. We contacted cooperate and the manager said he would be by to look at the vehicle, this was late February. He still has not been by. We contacted cooperate 3 more times due to lack of response. I then walked in today, end of April, he would not provide contact information or allow me to speak with the owner. He also said he only attempted to reach us 1 time last week and left a voicemail, my husband does not have voicemail set up so that was not the case. He also informed me they would not pay for the truck to be fixed at a different location, it would have to come back to them to “fixed”.We are currently in the process of reporting to the better business bureau and opening a small claims case.Do your homework on the place before taking anything here. After seeking advice on how to file a claim I heard MANY stories similar to ours of vehicles that were messed up during “repair” and was contacted by a former employee who provided me with the entire rundown of how they messed up the truck.

I brought my car on an appointment mainly to get an wheel alignment & secondary for an oil change. After over 3 hours, they did the oil change, but said they ran out of time to even diagnose my wheel alignment problem. Didn’t even ask if I would like to make another appointment

The gentleman that work in the front at the cash register was very polite and courteous. My truck was done in less then two hours and the atmosphere of the garage was beautiful. I went here because my air condition was now blowing cold. I waited 2 hours (I was told it would only take 30 minutes) only to be told that I needed a compressor. They hooked my car to a machine that immediately read that code and charged me $103.00. Yeah, I am female - they got me. I left there and went to a AC place in DIBERVILLE and they hooked my car to the same type of machine and told me immediately the same thing, I needed a compressor but DID NOT charge me for the 5 minutes of work. INTEGRITY- this is just my experience and my loss of hard earned money; he might treat you different- not many customers had to wait for service 🤨

First time using them it was awesome service leaving that piece at the bottom. This last time had an appointment at 9am to wait and didnt start on my car until 3 hours later. 4 hours total for an exhaust diagnosis. Not acceptable with an appointment.This was first review. Able to set an early appointment on a Saturday which was very convenient. Friendly service. Very knowledgeable staff and took the time to really find out what sound my son was looking for in hisperformance exhaust. Son is super happy with his loud Jeep. It was also fast insulation we were able to wait while completed.

They couldn’t take my truck to be serviced for at least 2 weeks!! The manager seemed very stressed and was showing through his customer service! He normally is friendly but not this time! Was really short and seemed like he was about to break down ! Not a very good experience

I was charged $100 dollars for A/C refill just to find out i needed a new compressor. I was still charged full amount which i feel was not fair at all.

Got an oil change and asked them to check front brakes due to hearing noise when braking. They didn’t check front brakes but replaced back brakes and rotors. When I picked up my car there was loose lug nuts and the front brake caliper was missing a bolt that they didn’t catch until I asked them to look again.

This was my first and will be my last time ever getting service at this location. Untrained technician was assigned to my Mercedes S65 AMG for a simple installation of stainless steal SLP mufflers. The manager stepped in to do the welding absolutely POOR job!!! Total peon insensible manager. A technician not working on my car was very knowledgeable about cars and commented how shi%y the job looked that the manager presented. Afterwards, I then had to take my car to another AMAZING muffler shop in Gulfport on Pass Rd. National Muffler hands down the BEST shop on the entire gulf coast. This Meineke location should invest the time in having one of technician from National Muffler properly train their technicians. The manager at Meineke has very clouded judgment on expectations of quality. Nice guy just wrong one for the position. He seemed more concerned with the cost of receipt paper than handling the customers with expeditious manner. This location can really be a diamond financially if the quality of work equals to the verbal knowledge they have thats not expressed in the results of work. Its busy with new off the hwy clients. Im sure not repeating customers unless its for simple tune-up or brainless oil changes. Absolutely 1 out of 100 scale. I would appreciate to hear back from the owner of this franchise for full refund. Hopefully I can upload pictures on here if not Ill search for another total must see before and after!!

About a month ago I let Joe and his guys mount, balance and install the TPMS sensors on the new wheels and tires for my Dodge Charger and they did an amazing job. 2 days ago I picked up a screw and had them repair the tire, again.. amazing work. They took good care of my wheels to not damage them, the guy even cleaned his hand prints off when he finished. I was in and out in about 25 minutes. These guys at Mieneke Car Care have impressed me. I would definitely recommend and will be a return customer.

Called to set up a time to get my timing belt changed and the guy said he’d call me back before the end of the day. I never heard from him again but I got sent this message asking me how the service was.Over all I’m sure they’re busy and i just fell through the cracks a little but I’m sure most people, including myself, don’t have time to be waiting on poor customer service when it comes to their vehicles.

My fiance brought my car in for an oil change on 9/29. By 10/7, the oil sensor light in my car went off so I took it to get looked at again. The oil and filter had not been changed at all and the oil was dangerously low.I called and spoke to Joe who was nice but had to leave a bad review because I drove 6 hours back to Georgia soon after where my engine couldve easily blown.

Got my car in and worked on quickly, did everything as I expected, and did it at a competitive price. Very clean operation. Will use again and would recommend to others.

I was traveling through Gulfport with my family on vacation. I was having an issue with a tire. I tried to fill it at local gas stations, but none of the air compressors would work. I went to this location and they saw me within 10 minutes, diagnosed the issue of a screw in my tire, plugged it, and inflated it within another 15 minutes. I am very appreciative of their helpful and speedy service.

In Mississippi for work and my AC stopped working. Due to it being July and during covid, I had a hard time finding places taking appointments (rather than 1st come 1st served and could take multiple days for them to look at your vehicle). Meineke was able to get me an appointment the next day and had me in and out within an hour. They were awesome!

I went in on a Monday morning at the start of business and they told me they would not be able to get to me until the following day. I made an appointment for Tuesday at 11 AM. I dropped it off a little before and came back two hours later and the car had not moved. They told me it would be a little longer, I ran some more errands and they called me and told me to come get it that they couldn’t get the part until Thursday.When I got back to the shop they told me they were unaware of what time it would be so I can make another appointment on Friday which I did. I dropped the car off at the set time and came back two hours later and they still hadn’t gotten to it and said it would be two more hours. I told them thank you for wasting a week of my life over a muffler and to cancel my order.

I had my a/c system recharged. They were excellent, very professional, the tech spoke with me and told me everything he found, what recommendations he had, and what he performed. They got my car in and out in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend this place.

I brought my car in to get an alignment and was told it would be an hour to an hour and a half to get it fixed. Three hours later I was told they couldnt fix it because when they finally got to my car to start the process their computer froze up. So I went home with my car still broken and three hours wasted.

I had an issue with my fuel pressure sensor and they were able to quickly order my part that was needed. The price was affordable and I am very pleased I will definitely go back for any repairs needed.

Came in when another shop in town told me I had to get my brakes done by the dealership, joe straight up ordered the parts and got the job done the same day, always great service and timely. I appreciated the honesty and how well these guys always take good care of my truck will be returning with any other issues with out a doubt

Update: 1-27-2021 so far, TWO* of the 4 tires installed have blown and were determined to be installed incorrectly, the beads being torn by the installer . Meineke tech Tim told me cool when I went to him with this. They are doing nothing to make this right. All 4 tires are being taken off now and I will be pursuing legal actions against Mieneke. Also, it would help alot if yall wouldnt let your techs run around the shop hitting THC carts . Place is an absolute dumpster fire. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE******** they will destroy your stuff and charge you with a smile, then give you finger when you come back to them . HORRIBLE shop. HORRIBLE customer service. They shouldnt be allowed to change wiper blades.

Great service, friendly people. Was able to make an appointment online which was great. They were running about 30 minutes behind due to shortage of employees but got me in as quickly as they could. Overall, I was pleased with the service.

Staff and techs were friendly but 1 star for the price and overall service. Called to ask about labor for installing brakes as I already had the parts. I was told they could do it for $110 and made an appointment. When I got there they quoted $350 with tax due to the car make and that it would take 2.5 hours. Technically it did take 2.5 hours, I watched the car sit for 30 minutes, then an hour into the service I get a call that they cannot complete the service due to an issue with the brake pressure. I walked over and fixed the issue (special maintenance menu on Mercedes cars) and they started the brake replacement. Less than an hour later I get a call that my car is ready. Car make and model was included with the appointment so they should have done research on how to replace my particular vehicles brakes in advance if they did not know. Arguably they shouldnt be charging labor hours for the car sitting once the appointment starts until they pull it into the garage and if they wanted to project good customer service there should have been a discount of some sort on the hour it sat in there since they were ready to get no money for being unable to replace the brakes but because I got it to work they completed the job.

Went for an oil change. I love that they didnt rush, didnt try to sell me something I didnt want, and apparently fixed a minor problem (error code from a tire pressure sensor). Great discount, too.

In town for a short vacation and car started acting up - steering wheel vibrating while driving/braking. Called around to get it inspected and Meineke had an opening. Rotors were warped so they were replaced along with worn brake pads and car was instantly back to normal, if not better than normal. Total time for inspection, parts delivery and installation was 1-1/2 hours (I also added an oil change). Guys at Meineke were professional and knowledgeable. If I lived here, this location would definitely be my go-to for auto maintenance.

Called several places explaining that on military orders in Louisiana in support of Hurricane Laura, and needed brakes, Mr. Cawles said Id have my vehicle back in hours not days, the shop took care of me, thank you all for your hard work and dedication to your craft.

Never have I ever had to deal with handling car business. I am happy that gentleman at the desk was helpful and knowledgeable. My only complaint was the guy who came to get the car could have let us drive to the door at least only due to the fact that it was pouring down raining and I had to run with my 3 year old son and pregnant wife. Other than that it was a great first experience.

They wanted to charge me a lot of money for a starter that I didn’t need. I was pretty sure that the alternator was the problem. The other work they did (an oil change and changed the battery terminals) was great. I got a second opinion from elsewhere and they were able to change out my alternator for half the price Meineke was going to charge for the starter I didn’t need.

So I thought they did and excellent job. Got us rite in and fixed our tire. Well today I see that they actually didn’t even do anything. The same screw is in the tire still. I so thankful it has not come out and left me and my family on the side of the road. This is very disappointing. Since now I’m gonna have to try and get it fix before we get back on the road again.

I drove to the closest one to me which is 45 minutes away in the burning heat of Mississippi to use an advertised coupon for a free a/c check. When I got there, the man asked if the air was blowing hot or cold. He didnt even come out and look at the car. He told me the coupon was only good for them to tell me if my car was running cold or hot. So, basically according to them the coupon was only good for a mechanic to ask the customer if his air is blowing hot or cold. This was a trick to get me there.I had planned to have them fix it after I found out what was wrong and about how much it was going to cost, but I didnt feel that they were being very honest so I decided to go somewhere else.

The best place I’ve found to get my oil changed and tire care on the Coast. Joe, the manager, gives the business a professional feel. My last 2 oil changes have been free due the points system they offer. But Most importantly, I trust their work and their turnaround time is awesome.

Work was done well, but definitely not in a timely manner as promised. Manager was an expert at putting us off. Kept promising to call us back “in a minute “ but we had to call several times for an update, a price, a pickup time.
