The help was awesome. Went in to get windshield wipers and not only did the girl clerk show me where they were but also came out and installed the blades for me. Now that is real service.Thank you for caring in a world that their is to little of that going on.

The time I’ve been to the store and the customer service is awful they argue with you and do not fully under what parts they are selling you. Got the wrong part two times before getting the correct one.

My Vans Battery died & was being a jersey & that was causing me stress. I drove over to the Autozone to have it checked out & I was fully prepared to have to purchase a new $180 can battery.Anthony double checked the readings with his voltage meter reader & he double checked the batterys age... and I DID NOT NEED A BATTERY.Anyways, this particular visit to Autozone costs me nothing. Anthony & i trouble shot what could possibly be my issue, I think I figured out my problem & I saved my money & my van is working too..... Awesome 101

Good store, friendly staff and most things you might need in a pinch. Prices are most likely a bit more but worth it. Not too many stores left that you can actually touch and see what your buying. Cancel that amazon order and keep one open before its too late. Hey! Theyll loan you the tools also. My computer wouldnt let me do that.
I went to the AutoZone in Grover Beach, Ca on a Tuesday afternoon. I was given a welcoming greeting by Robert who patiently answered all my questions. He ordered the part that I needed, said it would be in on Thursday morning, and added we can probably help you install the part. When I picked up the part on Thursday, Robert was not working that day, however, Terry gladly stepped up to install the part for me. He was very polite and professional. 10 minutes later, the new tail-light assembly was installed in working order and I was on my way. Thank you Robert and Terry for the great customer service !! I will definitely return to AutoZone in the future. Highly recommended.I had another exceptional service experience at AutoZone this week (Feb 10 2020) . I needed a new battery for my truck. I called ahead - they had it in stock. I arrived and was helped immediately by Robert. Then, Nate installed the battery quickly and cleaned up the existing cables and area around the battery, all the while showing/telling me what he was doing and why. Efficient, quick, courteous, and professional service. I will be back again !!

Highly Disappointed. They sold me Blue devil leak fixing product for coolant system, telling me it was compatible with Toyota systems and appropriate antifreeze. Followed directions exactly, and product turned everything into gel in my cooling system. Apparently my experience is not uncommon, after a quick internet search. This mistake could have destroyed my engine. Called manager and instead of listening to my concern, he disagreed my experience was real. Manager Robert seems to value his pride more than customers experience. Unfortunately, I will not shop with any confidence at this location.

Quick and courteous customer service. The price of a new battery was fully justified considering free testing of the old one and free installation of the new one. Plus, the warranty is great (5 yrs).
This is such a horrible business. I would recommend nobody to this place. I called in the day before to put a valve cover gasket on hold and the guy over the phone told me no problem and that it would be there on hold for up to 12 hours. The next day I go in around 9:30 and tell the guy my name and he cant find the part and doesnt have my name written down anywhere. He searched for about 10 minutes for the part with no luck. After already being frustrated, because this should have been a 5-minute in and out process I go to my car and get him the part number for the part I need. The young guy then find the gasket for me and precedes to check me out. I pay for my product with a debit card the guy tells me after I already put my card in the machine that the sale didnt go through and we have to do it on a different machine. I go over to the other machine and he tries to check me out again but instead of sticking my card in there I told him Im going to check and make sure you didnt already charged me. When I went to go check my bank statement I was already charged the first time and he was going to try and charge me another time, but he said dont worry if we charge you a second time you can just come back in and we can refund your money. Good thing I checked my bank statement because I live in San Luis Obispo and it is not convenient for me to be driving back and forth. So after almost being charged two times for my part, then I wanted a receipt and it took them about 5 minutes or more to figure out how to get me my receipt. Long story short it should have been a in and out process done within two to five minutes, it took me over 20 or 25 minutes to get what was already on hold for me, or was supposed to be on hold. The negligent manager was just standing there watching everything go down and was no help for the young guy that was trying to help me. Screw these guys dont waste your time like I did. Not the kind of businesses I support!
My battery died and I needed a replacement. Good thing I had a warranty on it. Its awesome, because all of their locations computers are linked. I went in, told him my name a phone number, he grabbed the battery, took it out to my car, and even put it in for me. The customer service was amazing!

I went in for car battery my car was literally dead outside in the parking lot. I was told that their friendliest price was $169.99 for my car type. I didnt have that much on me, as I went to leave they all of a sudden remembered they had a battery that in stock for $69.99 for my car. My car finally started with prolonged effort with a jump. I did not buy a battery from that AutoZone, in Orcutt, mainly because I was irritated. The next day I went to the AutoZone in Grover Beach to purchase my battery and when the guy saw the battery sitting on the counter he says, oh, youre getting that cheap, tiny little thing? How about you keep your snide comments to yourself? Its what I could afford at the time and I dont need to be ridiculed for it. I cant see myself ever shopping there again.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. They are not friendly. They dont welcome you. They wont help you. They dont say thank you. They are rude. They also tried selling me a $106.00 part that my car doesnt even have. I will never go back in there.
It was late at night and our battery died 😮 But thanks to Nat & Anthony they found the problem of a bad cell, matched our battery and installed a new one right away. Its a good feeling to knowing when you travel full time you have a reliable source to go to like Autozone. Thank You!

They have gone out of their way to make sure I got what I needed and didnt try to sale me the most expensive items they shared with me information on all the items the up side and down side and let me choose the one I wanted. the other positive I noticed is their prices are lower than most of the other auto stores !

I bought a battery there and had a 2yr warranty. Well needless to say it expired like 10 days prior. The manger there Robert and Brett both worked on helping me out, seeing that I just missed the expiration date. As it was pouring down rain Brett still change my battery out for me. This place is a joke. Please know if you have a question pertaining to anything what so ever to do with parts. Do not ask anyone that works here. They will give you a look of confusion!! I wish it was back in the day when people could get a part based on knowledge instead of year make model oh no we dont carry that part. Just to find out they do but didnt know what category it fell under in the system. The employees are rude, under trained and have no people skills what so ever!! I could run this store and have a million happy customers.

I think to work there you must RUDE and not helpful! Do yourself a favor and go across Grand to the other auto parts store, they dont mind helping.

Service needs improvement. Stood there next to a manager, stocking items, and he offered no help with finding what I was looking for. Then went to pay for my stuff and the cashier picked up the phone and started helping that customer (while I was in the middle of my transaction).Lack of customer service now a days needs a kick in the mid section.
I Love going to AutoZone but Holy Cow this store in Grover Beach is a sad joke ... They have to pretty much order everything because they dont have what they need in stock ... Ever !!! Theres always a line with 1 cashier and two employees in the back ... Might as well order it online yourself ...
