They were very accommodating. I accidentally got here an hour early right before their lunch. They offered to let me in during lunch and do my apt. I told them not to worry about it and they acted like I was doing them a favor! Excellent customer service!
Highly recommend! Very professional and friendly but ultimately very helpful. The doctor explain everything and gave tips for eye health. When I went to buy my first pair of glasses, Jayra explained my benefits and was truthful with me. She was also training and the trainee was nice as well. Overall great people great place. Thank you for taking care of me! Will definitely be back next year for my next exam!!
This place has been amazing. My husband and I came here last year for eye exams and it was overall amazing. The staff was so friendly and welcoming.I recently needed more contacts for vacation and when I called they did not have any in stock. Theron was so helpful and gave me a trial pack because we were leaving so soon. He was so nice and professional last year & this past time.Thank you guys for being awesome!!
I had a great experience with Pearle Vision Grove City. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and very helpful. The exam was quick but thorough and working with Theron to pick out frames was a very easy process-for me. I had a very specific style I was looking for and was very picky. He was patient and helped me pull many many options and gave me his honest opinions. In the end I ordered 2 styles I loved and they ended up coming in way earlier than I expected!New to the Columbus area and I am happy to have found my home for eye care!
I was in/out much faster than expected. Everybody was friendly. The doctor was very efficient in her exam. She also took the time to answer questions which I appreciated. The new test is worth the extra money to avoid dilating my eyes. Theron quickly helped me find the correct frames for my needs. I picked the glasses up a week later. They are great! I also appreciate Theron adjusted my old glasses so they dont slip anymore. Thanks for a great experience.

100% great experience. I’ve had problems over the years with temples pressing against my head, triggering migraines. I had some frames that bowed out in this area and alleviated the problem. Unfortunately, they were no longer made when replacement time came. Theron was able to locate another manufacturer with similar frames and spec additional width. New lenses and a special frame in less than two weeks. I am MORE than pleased!
Took forever to get the eye exam. But after that GREAT service. Theron was helpful put up with me trying on way to many frames that he had to clean before replacing on the wall. Ended up with new frames and new lens for my old frames. My second time getting glasses there both times he made the experience great.

I sure love this place. they even allow you to bring dogs and puppies in the office. Went in on 9/2/20 for an exam for contacts. She wanted to talk to my old doctor and sent me out in new contacts. After not hearing anything for a few weeks I called in and asked what was going on. Never talked to the doctor but the guy on the phone changed me to a more comfortable contact. Once again I had to call back to see what was going on. There was no follow up visit or anything. They ordered my contacts and said they were ready 11/9/20. I will never go back to them again.Going back to Dr Lehman the heck with the insurance.

One of the best eyeglass buying experiences Ive had!The ladies that helped me were super friendly. They worked with me on picking out frames and offered honest feedback on finding a style and color that worked on my face. I also feel I got a fair price given I had the extra coatings and features for my -8 (blind as a bat) prescription.Over the years, I have tried other places that make glasses cheaper, but I keep coming back to Pearl Vision because the quality of the glasses is so much better. The service here was excellent, so I will definitively be coming back to this location the next time I need glasses.

I was in such bind and Miss Michelle at Pearle Vision came to my rescue. My son broke my glasses in half rendering me unable to work, drive and do my other normal activities.One hr before closing, I walked into Pearle Vision, Grove City and Miss Michelle made it so I could see. She was so kind and understanding to my situation and offered me some options. We agreed that my glasses were not going to make it through the weekend. We chose a new frame and she switched my current lenses into the frame. It made such a difference and I’m so grateful to her for helping me. Every staff person is pleasant and helpful. From the time I brought my script from my personal eye Doc to order glasses to when I got them yesterday I’ve been pleased. The person I worked with to order them worked through my insurance to find me the best price possible. Post sale customer service also excellent. It’s not unusual for me my need my frames adjusted a couple times a year because I’m hard on glasses. Never a hassle no matter who’s working they will spend the time to get my frames back to a place where I’m happy!!

I am not a fan of the eye doctor. I get anxiety about the entire process. These ladies made me feel so comfortable. The front desk person was so warm and inviting. The eye doctor was super informative and laid back. The person helping me pick out my new frames was so helpful and fun. I 100% recommend this Pearle Vision. They may have changed my mind about disliking the eye doctor.
Very unprofessional having conversations with coworkers without addressing the customer first, don’t even have uniforms, and never really asked specific questions, then after my eye exam they let me leave while my eyes were still dilated. Would not recommend this place...
Terrible experience. They made a mistake getting my glasses which I understood. But what was upsetting was that come to find out they lied about my glasses that I had to wait a freaking MONTH for AND that I already paid in full for. It wasnt even the correct pair!!! So awful. They just tried to make it look like my old ones. I tried calling several times and they were purposely ignoring my phone call! 170 bucks down the drain. Very unprofessional and annoying. Will never go back. So pathetic stuff goes on like this....
I was able to get an appointment within a few days of asking for one. The staff was very helpful and kind. Im not a fan of doctors visits in general. But the ladies at this store were very respectful and kind. Dr. Bower was very informative and made the entire visit relaxing. I will definitely be back for my next eye exam.
Theron did an excellent job adjusting my glasses when the location at Georgesville did not adjust them after several attempts. I would recommend going to the Grove City location and asking for Theron.
This is for Pearle Vision on Stringtown RD in Grove City, no experience with other Pearle offices.First I`m not sure what another reviewer means by up-charging. If you mean they charge more for something than they paid, well yeah of course they do. I know my business does, and that is how my family can afford to eat.Anyway, I was honestly a little skeptical to try a chain optometrist due to bad experiences from others in the past. I normally visit a more established local doc but they were scheduling a month out for contact lens fittings. Meanwhile I was anxious to try contacts and Pearle got me in the door in 3 days.Turns out I was very impressed with Dr. Bartholomew and staff. He seemed to have a very thorough exam, probably even more so than my regular doc. But I still would not be writing this review if I were not so struck by how patient Dr. Bartholomew was during my very awkward time of putting in contacts for the first time in his office. I spent an hour struggling with those stupid things and he just smiled and took it like a champ. Congratulations on watching my crazy ordeal and making it seem perfectly OK. It really helped my confidence that I made the right choice.A month later, my Rx is spot on and I love wearing contacts. And no more spending an hour in the morning - takes about 2 minutes to put them in. Thanks Dr. Bartholomew!

I have been coming to this office for 3 years now. 9/13 I had appointment the person that called to verify my time told me my appointment was 10:40 pm on the morning of I called to ask if they checked to see if my eye Insurance qualified The lady told me My appointment is 10:20pm I tried to rush there but ended up getting there at 10:32, soon as I walked in the lady at the front desk was very rude to me for being late before I can speak she begins to ask if I have insurance Like it doesn’t matter if I did or not I wouldn’t be here if I can’t pay for it, she checks and let me sit there and wait for over a hour while they help other people, I wasted my time my gas just to not even be seen Very rude staff, I would never spend my money with any pearl vision location agin! Treat your customer’s with respect it’s million other providers I could’ve went too but I came there good customer service is the only thing that differentiate You from others,I will definitely Speak poorly of you guys to my family and friends!
First and foremost, the woman working behind the desk today (she was wearing a black headband and I didnt catch her name) was very kind and professional from the start to the finish of our interaction. I had scheduled an appointment with Pearle Vision for an eye exam as they were a listed provider through my insurance company. When I arrived, however, I was told that I did not have insurance, only a discount. I pay for my insurance and know my coverage, so I asked if that could be double checked. My insurance company was called and they confirmed that I have full coverage. Then, instead of beginning my exam or treating me like a human at all, the doctor and another associate began arguing about how the billing process was going to work, scoffing that the claim would likely need to be mailed in. At this point I had been standing in the office for 30 minutes and chose to leave. I did not wish to leave my eye care in the hands of people who had shown such little professionalism nor did I wish to financially support a business that is run in this manner. To the very kind woman at the front desk: if you read these reviews you deserve a better job. There is no way they are paying you enough.
I wouldnt go anywhere else from the doctor to the staff you couldnt ask for a better place. They take the time to listen to you and answer any question you may have. Would highly recommend.
This whole visit was a sham. Collected the fee for an incomplete eye exam (didnt dialate his eyes) a contact exam that didnt happen. After paying, for the service, we walked out withoyt a prescription or contacts. What we were told we would need to reschedule but left without an appt. We recieved training for contacts but not the contact exam after. Rest assured we were billed for it though. This was my first time here, and I cant t recommend it. Go somewhere else. This whole appointment was one shady water of time. We paid for services not received and no follow up to receive them.

I have been a patient for about three years now and my experience has always been both pleasant and professional from all of the staff there, particularly the optometrist. Driving in excess of 100 miles each time I visit from out of state the faces are always welcoming, the staff always knowledgeable, courtesy and most of all professional. Yes, getting eyecare comes along with a lot of options and cost ranges, particularly at a branch facility but there is no substitute for good service, pleasant people, great etiquette and most of all professionalism. Each time I have visited the staff welcomed me at the door and the physicians care was fantastic! Not only would I recommend others to receive their eyecare here but will continue to be a patient as in my opinion the benefits of care at the Grove City Pearle Vision do indeed exceed the norm.

Purchased 2 pairs of glasses from here. Not satisfied at all. We have been in multiple times to get them fixed and every single time they have not been fixed appropriately. Staff appears to be frustrated with me based on my complaints with the glasses. Most important, please know that the 30 day guarantee is a scam. You can not get your money back. Products are cheaply made. I would not recommend this store.
Been going seven years and have seen four Optemetrists go through the Stringtown office. I have never had a bad experience. As with any Optometry Practice, make sure you explain everything you know about what you want and the coverage(s) you have. They also do price matching on all contact lense prescriptions! I find amazing deals online and save a hundred or more on my annual prescription.-David B.

Really not happy with the service to be honest. Gave them a try because I live in Grove City and they were in my network. The Dr. who examined me was awesome and I was happy with all the information. The problem was the service from when I had to pick out my frames. I have worn glasses for almost 30 years and do not like contacts so I do this every couple of years. I felt like I was annoying the person helping me pic out the frames. Like it was a bother to her. I wear my glasses everyday so it is a big decision for me. I brought my wife in to help and she asked a few questions about if certain frames could come in different colors. The lady seemed annoyed to have to look them up and then said “well we are just trying to get rid of our year end frames so we are not really special ordering anything?” What? I am in sales and if the customer wants frames in a certain color I would think you would take the sale and order them for us. Well we ended up just picking some frames and they said it would be 2 weeks. I was in on Dec. I path and I called on the 27th to check on them because I already paid 1/2 up front. They put me on hold for like 20 minutes and then a guy said that UPS lost a box and they thought they were in that box. When I asked him a few pressing questions he said well we ordered them on the 18th and they were supossed to be in but UPS lost the package and they were waiting to here from UPS. Why did they order them 8 days after I paid them 1/2 up front? They should have been ordered the next day. The guy told me he was sorry and would definitely call me at the end of the day and let me k ow what was going on and just to be sure they re-ordered the lenses for me. Well he never called as he promised and now it is another day and he still hasn’t called. I think I will just get my money back if I can and get the prescription to order elsewhere. Very disappointed and don’t have glasses.
I was very disappointed with the service when I went there to see if I needed new glasses. I had a appointment and arrived 15 Minutes before. At first I was asked to pay $35.00. Then a very young Girl took me into a room for my exam. After that it was time to Pay a Big Amount. Five Months later one of the lens fell out so I went back and told the lady at the desk and told her I was having trouble seeing. It was so bad I couldnt see the signs,she said that was because I had cataracts and thats what will happen..I was not told after my check up.I was so lucky that I did not have a accident So on September 08 2017 I am going for Cataract Surgery Think twice before going here.
My sister and I were racially profiled on May 2nd at this location. It was very upsetting because we were loyal customers and brought four frames from this store. We went in to look at frames, tried on several, but didnt find anything we wanted. However, we proceeded to get our pupillary distance and then left. Just as we walked out some cops pulled up on us and told us someone in the store called stating that frames were not being put back on the shelves, and insinuating that we stole. Mind you there were three other girls in there trying on frames. One was removing them to sit them on the counter and show off to others, so maybe those were the ones they were referring to. After we were searched and they checked the cameras we were released by the cops. But why was that necessary? This behavior was completely unprofessional and shows that the people working instantly put a tag on us. As soon as we walked in there were mild judgemental behaviors being done, such as us being checked on more often, which we did not read into until after what happened. It was clear that they did not take into account the other people in the surroundings who were doing the same things as us except they were white. Will not be doing business here any longer.

Not for sure what everyones problem here was but Im from out of state and I came up here and visited. I visited this office for my yearly exam because Im in Columbus twice a week and the staff here was very accommodating and very nice. The Doctor was hot also lol. They had a very rude customer who called em up on the phone and started making all these demands on what he was wanting and what they was gonna do. If it had been me I would of told him to go fly a kite but I was really surprised on how they accommodated him and worked him into there schedule. They are very professional at this store and I would recommend them to anyone.

No professionalism when dealing with customer service. The guy that made the mistake of charging my wife $170 for glasses and forgot to place the order was very apologetic to us, but whomever answers the phone needs to find a job as a ditch digger. Multiple times she called trying to figure out when her glasses would show up after 3 weeks of waiting, and her order never existed but the insurance claim and transaction did. She snarkingly tried to tell her that she may have paid for something else, but VSP covers 100% of the exam and she didnt get contacts... what else could she have paid for? If you want new glasses go somewhere local, and not a franchise that hires youngsters who have a lack of an understanding of customer service, and as a individual who literally kills himself as a supervisor customer service based industry I would be canning anybody who would make a mistake and then get snarky and blame the customer for our mistake.

And then she didnt even tell me anything about the store she went right in to days they had openings. And when i stopped her and asked can you tell me about the place before i set up anything and she say ugh i guess i stopelped her right there and said forget it ill go somewhere else and hung up on her rude ass
