Good price great work . Would use again in the future

Im not impressed. They fixed my check engine light and it came back on within a couple months. They didnt fix the problem. Not to mention my husband had his serpentine belt replaced and later found out he had a belt MISSING on his ac unit. Just found out today when he got his oil changed. Id recommend going somewhere else...

If you need your vehicle worked on or just need something checked out this is the place to go...not only do they have the best customer service for an automotive shop but their prices wont leave you broke for the next two months. The mechanics will take their time to explain what does or doesnt need done to your vehicle. I definitely recommend them for any of your vehicle needs

I dropped my car off and they diagnosed and called back same day !!!They run a $40 diagnostic fee but when I went to pick up and pay they waived the charge !!! That’s the way a business gets a customer for life !I declined the repair (ended up being something I could do very easily myself) but even the estimate was very very reasonable! Very friendly staff and they do a great job. Give them a try no matter what part of town you’re in and believe the great reviews.

Took vehicle in for a new sensor. Vehicle sat for 2 months. Called numerous times and they said they would call back. We finally ended up having vehicle towed out of there. Worst place ever.

Back in the summer of 2020 my Mazda needed tons of fixes (control arm, everything with the brakes, suspension, light housing, and more), based of Firestones quote I was ready to find a new car, but found Dart from a referral, Dart quoted less than half of what Firestone quoted, and my car was finished within a day. Here we are 7 months later, and my car still runs like new. I waited this long to review to wait and see how things held up, but now Ive decided Ill be using Dart for as long as I can from now on.

They tell you what needs done to your car with a quote, etc. before they start the work. Very friendly and nice over the phone, and if you dont want something done they wanted to do they are very professional. You have to remember this is a business, and they probably have a lot of vehicles to get to and people call off just like anywhere else. They told us when they expected to have it done, etc. I would recommend Dart to anyone.

Honest!!!! Dont go anywhere else. I wont ever go anywhere else and neither will most of my family. They replaced my head gasket after I got screwed over at ddds automotive on stringtown.

Got my car towed in after i slide on ice a hit a curb sideways. and bent some suspension parts on my driver side front wheel. they called my back and told me its going to cost 2400 dollars to get it fix. that sounds creasy to me lol i looked up the parts they said i needed to get fixed and there less then 200$. so they charging 2 grand for labor there scammers dont go here

I have been using this repair facility since 2008, and Dave, the owner, has saved my bacon time after time. I live in Clintonville, and cant afford the auto repair prices they charge in my area. Dart charges about half of what I would pay locally, and the expertise, both in diagnostics and quality of repair make it well worth my trip. Daves staff is friendly and always helpful. I have always experienced fine and ethical treatment. I cant say enough good things about this business.

Though I personally have only used Darts services twice, each time they have gone above and beyond the call of duty and helped with all my cars needs and repairs.This place was recommended to me by a family member, and several of my extended family members use Darts services.Dart has yet again done a quality job for about half the price that I wouldve paid going to other mechanics.It is a bit out of the way for me, but is always worth it because I know that the people at Dart offer the best possible service for a very reasonable price.I will be seeing Dart in the future for all my auto-related needs, and strongly recommend this place to anyone else looking to get their car serviced without fear of breaking the bank.

First time here. Dave was spot on with his quote. Dropped our truck off 4pm Monday, called at 2pm Tuesday to say it was complete! (Was told they were busy, and may take some time to complete)! We have found our new trusted mechanic!

The last guy said he doesnt know why there are so many negative reviews. The reason is that DART has gone soft. I have been using them for years and I cannot adequately express my level of disappointment. Drop my car off first thing on a Monday and wasnt able to pick it up until FRIDAY 15 min before closing and that was ONLY because I stopped in and told them I had been told the previous day the repairs I wanted were already done and to that point that was all I wanted. It was as if they had ONLY just finished minutes before I got there. $40 bucks for headlight install that were adjusted like 5 year old and no charge for buttoning down a shield that STILL MAKES THE SAME DAMN NOISE. Wow. But, I guess if you dont know, you will continue to fall for it. I have recommended what I know has ended up as thousands in business for them not to mention the money i have spent. I guess good and true work has now gone the way of the dinosaur. No worries; they still have great prices but - Ill pay more so I can at least get my car in a somewhat timely fashion and get a guarantee the work was done. Thanks a lot DART.

Absolutely take your vehicles here. Dave is awesome. My truck was overheating after blowing radiator fitting apart. I installed new part and anti freeze. Still overheating. Took to Dart. Dave checked it over, determined that there was an air pocket on coolant system. He added a gallon and a half. Test drove truck. All good. Didnt charge me one cent!

A good local auto service company in Grove City. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They do the work necessary without trying to do things extra just to add costs. The prices are reasonable. The work I had done on my car was done within a reasonable amout of time and done to my satisfaction. Will definitely return when service is needed.

Stay clear of this shop! Scam artist. Took the wifes car in (Impala SS) due to cranking and not starting. Advised them as it sat for a while, the battery was dead as well. (with a chevy dead battery, the key is stuck in ignition). The car was supposed to be looked at on a Friday and they were to let us know status by COB. Never heard back so we called on Saturday and was told no Mechanic on site and the person at DART, had no clue on any feedback. Monday, again no communication from DART so we called them back at the end of day and they advised the engine was seized up and no good. We requested price and a few days later they called with a price of $2100 to install a junk yard engine. We advised them that we were gonna get the car and not follow that path. Immediately received a call back from the mechanic saying that another mechanic at DART happened to have an Impala engine and wanted to buy the car. Bottom line, engine not blown, put a battery in and cranked just fine and another shop took care of it. what a scam....

My mother-in-law had her brakes done here. Shortly after picking up her car she lost all break pressure. She asked if she could run it back in & they told her she would need to bring it back the next day & leave it overnight. 😤I wouldnt take my car to a place that takes 4 days to fix breaks!

If you carefully read the negative reviews you can read between the lines. These people (the negative reviewers) are the rare customers that will never be satisfied...no matter what. Just because you purchase a bad car...that has nothing to do with the repair shop. A lemon is a lemon...period.I have nothing but a pleasant experience with DART Automotive. I have used their repair services several times and I have yet to experience a single issue with them. On one occasion they replaced my water pump. This was a very difficult engine for water pump replacement. I did have an issue with my car still leaking coolant after the repair (which was several hundred less than the mechanic down the street). I took it back to DART and they found the issue right away. I had a freeze out plug on the engine block leaking. They replace it at no charge and had me on my way in no time.Other members of my family have used them as well as my neighbors with only good results. You see, I dont blame them from my freeze out plug leaking. My car had over 100,000 miles on it. On an older car things break...and issues develop. That doesnt mean it is your repair shops fault. It just means you have an older car!A gentleman named Dave is the owner. Anyone who has an issue can call DART and request to speak directly to Dave (the owner). If he is not available (this place is crazy busy...so they must be doing something right) he will return your call, usually the same day. Any issues I have had he resolved quickly and professionally. His service is great and he is one of those rare, honest business owners who still takes great pride in his craft.

As lo g as I took my mustang I had the best of their shop had to offer even free parts .but Bad services on my impala, wheel bearings was worked on more than 2 times,bad parts each time still not right I almost wrecked when it broke on me. They said it wasnt the bearings its the ball joint...I know cars better than he thinks. So sorry I went back ..

Have taken both of my cars to dart and both times they have been fixed right and they dont try to add on any additional things. My Saturn was running rough and they fixed it for a good rate, they pay retail for parts but you can buy your own and bring them in and theyll put it on there. I love dart, and theyve got a customer as long as they keep these standards!

Purchased a used 2013 Ford Focus that had a warning light on for the traction control. Took it to DART for an estimate and they diagnosed it properly but told me the repair could only be done by a Ford dealer.The service writer at the Ford dealer got quite a laugh out of that and told me that anyone with the proper diagnostic/programming tools could have done the work and Im sure it ended up costing significantly more for the fix than if I had taken it to an independent mechanic.

This place is the premier place in central Ohio. You will not find anywhere that treats you better. Theres nothing they cant fix.

I had taken my car here for years and always trusted them to be honest. I always assumed basic fluid checks were being done with oil changes. But last winter (2014), with no heat and freezing, I was advised that I needed a new heater core for an estimated $700 dollars with labor. I couldnt afford it so decided to freeze the rest of the winter. Then this fall (2015) I had my oil changed at a different shop for a change, and had them check the heat while they were at it. The only problem turned out to be low coolant and the heat works fine. Seriously? I cant believe I gave this shop thousands over the years to find out they cant even check coolant levels when they have a heat problem. Thats disturbing.And in hindsight 2 years ago, I was diagnosed with 2 bad transmissions in 2 different cars within weeks of each other by Dart, and now I have serious doubts it was just a coincidence. Cant prove it wasnt coincidence but sure makes me wonder after the last fiasco.Also most of the front desk people were really nice but the latest guy was very short with me - not overtly rude, but just kind of snarky like youre interrupting his day. He actually argued with me once, smugly and confidently, that I did NOT request an oil change with other repairs. But I record my cell calls automatically and clearly had it on tape - not once but TWICE reminding him that I also needed the oil change.I think Dart management is probably not out to screw people by choice, but when you hire uncaring employees you suffer the consequence of business lost forever, lost word of mouth business, and poor reviews.

Ive never gone back to this place since a year ago basically because they seem to do service thats not needed. They gave me a synthetic oil change on my Hyundai Elantra SE and said that the cars manufacturer says it was needed. Later found out that a synthetic oil change is not a requirement for the 2015 Hyundai Elantra SE. Never went back again.

Stolen items out of my truck i left. He says they moved the truck to the back were it was supposedly safe and the truck was locked when i gave them the keys... over $900 in missing items. I would be willijg to let the charges im about to file go if they would just return the items... but we have a internal camera installed in all our work trucks on the dash that run on batteries is the truck battery is disconnected.So ill just call the camera company and review the cameras and proceed.Its sad but I can almost guarantee it wasnt Dave but probably someone working for him.

I stumbled upon Dart in 2009 after bad experiences with 3 other mechanics in Grove City and have never looked back. Dave is great at answering all my questions and repairing my car in a timely manner. His prices are significantly lower as well! My friends have even switched to Dart after hearing how great my experiences have been.

Took in my minivan to get the AC repaired. After $500 and two other trips back it still isnt working. I dont think they CAN fix it. Do not take your car to these guys.After much work I was able to get a complete refund from DART Automotive.

We were one of Daves first customers when he opened DART and stayed with him until we moved out of state last year. WE MISS DAVE!!!!We now have to go 45 miles, pay full retail on parts and pay $125 per hour for repairs just to come close to finding somebody like Dave.Yes, you may have to leave your vehicle a little longer than another place because the other place does not do the volume of work Dave does. You may on occasion have to take it back for some tweaking but that happens everywhere.However, you will receive the best job at the BEST price from one of the most trusted mechanics there is.Thanks Dave for all the years of your help.

Had a good experience the first couple of times I brought my car here for small repairs and the prices seemed reasonable. However, in subsequent trips the experience was not satisfactory. Things were not properly checked and was told things needed replaced that really did not after getting a second opinion with another mechanic who addressed the real issue for a fraction of what Dart had said. Needless to say I will not be bringing my cars back to Dart.

Takes forever to get your vehicle in Period takes forever to get your vehicle back. Found Used Parts on my vehicle and supposedly my vehicle was aligned and after 6 months of driving found out that the camber was so far off that I wore my tires bald on the outside edges. Found out my four-wheel drive didnt work when they said it did when I needed to use it. Went to Dart Automotive and they claim it worked when I left. Maybe its my fault for not trying it out when I left because I trusted them. I spent nearly $10,000 with Dart Automotive to only get screwed.

I have another automotive shop in Grove City, and when Im too backed up, or its a job that I cant do with the limited resources available to me, I always send them too Dart. Ive always felt that Dart does a good job for a fair price.Edit: Dart has unimpressed me over the last 1-2 years. The work has been bad, at best, and more often than not needs to be redone AFTER its done. A consumer of mine went there and had a crate engine from Toyota installed, received the truck back with a junkyard engine. One of my business partners trucks spent 8 MONTHS there for a small block chevy replacement, which was promised to be done in weeks. Other issues on top of that. Maybe theyve grown in business too big for their capacity/capabilities.Anyway, keep it in mind. Dave is the sole redeeming quality, hes knowledgeable, and i appreciate his candor.

Ive been taking my vehicles to Dart Automotive since 1996 for everything from engine replacements to brake repair. Between 1996 and now, Ive lived all over the country and Ive driven as far as 700 miles to have my cars serviced and repaired at Dart. Except for an out of town emergency situation, I wouldnt think of taking my car to any other automobile service center. Dave Hix and his staff are the best!!

I found Dart after breaking down on the highway. I was towed to Dart after they had closed on a Saturday. Being from out of town I was very nervous, not knowing if they were going to take advantage of this fact. Dart fixed my car in a reasonable amount of time and for a great price. If I were ever unfortunate enough to break down in Grove City again I would not hesitate to use Dart again.

I have been using Dart for years, and have had nothing but good experiences. All their repairs have fixed the problem, and Ive never had any serious issue with the work that I have had done there. I know their billing rate for labor is lower than some other places Ive had work done. One time I had a problem with an oil leak, and when the first time I took it in didnt quite resolve the issue, they didnt charge me anything the second time. Everyone Ive asked in G.C. says its the best place in town.
