These donuts are dry and nearly flavorless. Buckeye donuts on North High are a billion times better. Even grocery store donuts are better. I had Jolly Pirate donuts in 2000 when I first moved here and was disappointed, tried them again a couple weekends ago and was just as disappointed. Theyre beyond terrible and I dont know how anyone is eating these. Seriously, do yourself a favor and get donuts literally anywhere else. How do you screw up donuts? Ask Jolly Pirate because they know.

I love their cake donuts. Buttermilk is my favorite. I just tried a Dutch Crumb that was really good as well. If you are in Grove City and want a cake donut try them out. If you order a dozen you get a free donut. The employees are friendly and the donuts are affordable.

We had an event this past weekend for Youth Advocate Services foster families and a donor decided to provide a half dozen for each family (50)! Jolly Pirate worked closely with the donor and our staff to make this happen and our foster families couldnt have been more thrilled to receive the surprise gift! Thank you, JPD, for helping us shower our foster families with appreciation and give them some joy in the form of a box of the most delicious donuts!

There donuts are really fresh and good! Sooo much better than Dunkin Donuts. I went to DD a week ago and the jelly doughnut was stale and the Boston Cream hardly had any cream in it. Jollys donuts jelly doughnut was super fresh and their Boston Cream was not only fresh but it had a LOT of cream in it like I like it. The apple fritter was ok, I was a bit doughy, it didnt have enough glaze on it.

Great donuts, but no bismarks left. Gotta get there earlier if you want the best donuts.

What a train wreck. I was called and harassed on my daughters wedding day. Somehow THEY duplicated our order. We picked up and paid for our order at 8 a.m. Around noon, a young lady called and asked if we would be picking up our order as it was ready. I advised we already had our order. She insisted that was impossible and demanded we come back in to pay for more donuts. Mind you, all this while preparing for a wedding. Not even 20 minutes later the manager called. Again, insisting we needed to come pick up these donuts. After several attempts to make it clear I already had our order, I had to hang up the phone and was in tears. As if a wedding isnt stressful enough. I WILL NEVER do business here again!!!

So many choices, all delicious! I got a dozen regular donuts (which really means everything except the fancy ones in the glass counter display case), and a medium coffee to go for slightly less than $10! The glazed/honey dip ones are traditional, I know, but theyre my absolute fave! The best part? Theyre open 24/7!

Im so glad this place is still around. It has the old Grove City charm. They dont need crazy stuff like bacon donuts. Convenient location, clean seating area, nice staff. The old uniforms hanging on the walls is a really nice touch, too.

This was my familys first time actually going to Jolly Pirate Donuts. We were greeted by a very nice man & when I told him it was our first time there he did a great job describing what each of the donuts were that my kids thought they might like. We just kept adding & adding until we had picked out 12 of the most yummy looking donuts! But then he surprised me & said that we got 1 more for Free! Yes, please😁Honestly, after going thru this 15 minute delightful donut haul, I was sure he was going to tell me my bill was at least $15 or more. But, instead it only cost me $11.99 & I was definitely a happy customer! The actual donuts are all amazing & I would totally go back again soon! Keep up the good work👍👍👍

One of the few jolly pirates left. Loved it, not only for the nostalgic pirate box with a bakers dozen (13 - not 12 for those who may not know) and the fun pirate hat for the kids, but because they delivered on the same great taste and lots of filling that I remember.

Cincinnati born and raised there. My family and I came up to visit COSI and Leggoland. My son recommended doughnuts for breakfast and we excitedly agreed. We shouldve stuck with IHOP. We each chose different pastries only to find the same result...grease laden. With a bite of each doughnut (except the glazed blueberry) we spit it out. Waste of money for us and oil filled stomachs.

Great fresh donuts at 3 am. Guy behind counter was cool, so thats a plus. We made a stop here in the middle of a 3 hr drive home from going to haunted houses all night and my most pickiest friend who doesnt eat anything loved their glazed donut. Thats huge. Lol I had the pumpkin and devils food. Both great but the devils food with chocolate icing is the best. Plus, cool boxes. 😁

The girl that assisted was a little ehhh when I couldnt make up my mind, but once I explained that it had been over 10+ years she seemed to have cheered up.

I’ve been going to this donut shop for over 20 years, since I was a kid. They have the best donuts.I will say that they run out of donuts before 9am. My favorite one to get is the chocolate devils food and it’s hit or miss if they have any. My suggestion is if you’re a donut shop..... be fully stocked to get you through the morning at least! Common sense. If they don’t have any then I just leave without making a purchase. I’m not interested in any other flavor. Sales lost for them.

I called to order 6 dozen donuts and coffee for pickup on Monday morning and prepay for the order ahead of time. I was passed to 2 different employees just to be told there is no manager there and they are not allowed to take an order! Really? A donut shop open 24 hours are not able to take this order? Unacceptable!

Update. The two people who waited on me today were fantastic! Their cream sticks are good, but when you ask them to double stuff them they are the best anywhere period! Some of their staff will double stuff them and some will not. Im going to reach out to the owner and see if I can get her to add a Ricks special double stuffed cream stick to their menu so it will be easier to get them. I cant rave about them more. Even if they charge more for double stuffed cream sticks its well worth it. When they explode with cream they are at their best! If you love cream sticks I highly recommend going to Jolly Pirates on Southwest Blvd in Grove City and ask for Ricks special double stuffed cream sticks! Ok, you can drop the Ricks special and just ask them for double stuffed cream sticks! ENJOY AND GO OFTEN!!!Ive gone to Jolly Pirates in Grove City since I moved here. Their donuts have been average for the most part. Todays visit was exceptionally good though. All their donuts were fresh and tasted really good! They have a good variety of donuts and are open most times when you want a good every day donut!

First time trien jolly pirate ...Although wasnt all what i expected and. Selection was pretty slim for a doughnut place I was expecting more to choose from also no regular glazed dougnuts i thought was odd being a common but popular one amoung most.

Donuts are good and the employees there are always very nice. 😊 You get a free extra donut when you buy a dozen donuts! The filled donuts are nicely filled and they are so soft! I havent had their coffee. 100% recommend.

The best 🍩 and coffee shop in Center Ohio. All of their donuts are made fresh on site, and their coffee is never more than an hour old. Their donut holes are a specialty and generally dont last long, because even the most calorie conscious lady cant resist just one donut holes. Great place to order donuts for early morning events. They are open 24 hours.

Jolly Pirate we love your donuts and went tonight to get some. The sign on the door said that customers were required to wear a face covering, yet the lady working there didnt have one on AND didnt put one on either. When my husband asked why she wasnt wearing one, she said Here it is and picked it up off the counter, everythings moving too fast. Mind you, no one else was in the store but him. Follow your own rules please or dont post them.

I love this place way better than the newer 🐉 donuts South of them off 665 this place it tried and true and a real staple of Grove City! Way better deal bigger donuts better value and flat out tastes better. Sad when they announced closing a while back but happy they are back better than ever. Just left the 🎅 event they posted on Facebook. Kids got free 🍩 and saw 🎅 thank you jolly pirates youre the best!

I love donuts, lets just start there. Jolly Pirate NEVER disappoints. I have loved this place and its people since i was young and have always recommended them to everyone. Today i went in for our typical mixed dozen well it must have been a busy morning and they had sold out of one of my favorites, of course, they are all my faves. After a small wait time they severed up what i thought was my 2 fresh and hot apple fritters. After arriving home to my family with everyones favorite i notice that they had added extra to the box for my wait! Who does things like that? The best donut and customer service businesses! I just cant say enough about this place. If you love to treated with respect and kind words this business will never let you down.

Jolly Pirate, Grove City should offer curbside pickup. My husband and I are high risk and our taking extra precautions to prevent getting COVID. I called last evening and asked if I could preorder 2 dozen donuts for pick-up. She checked and said she could place my order. We confirmed pickup at 8:00am. I asked if we could pay prior to pickup and she advised no. I asked if they had a drive through like Reynoldsburg and she advised no.My husband arrived at 8am and my order was not ready. He stood there amongst the other customers in the confined space waiting as they used the order slip to put the order together. We arent able to take the risk and wont be returning. I just hope he doesnt get sick.
