This was by far the worst customer service i have experienced in probably 10 years. the staff alone is so rude, i have decided to return my phone and just go with any other company. they acted bothered that people were in the lobby close to store closing. they acted really bothered that we were in their store. i will not ever step foot in their again.

If I could leave negative stars I would! I was lied to numerous times and basically called a liar! We got 2 iPhone 12s and were told we would get a certain amount for each phone as a trade in amount. Supposedly the tablet timed out so they had to push our deal through over the phone with our current plan. We were told once you get the phones swapped over just bring them back up here. Once we brought the phones back we were told a totally different amount we would get on both trade in amounts. This has been 4 different times we have been lied to in one week at the store as well as corporate. At this point I would not recommend Verizon at all not this location or the company as a whole.

I swapped my wifes line and my line over to Verizon in December from separate carriers. There was a billing issue with my account which showed up in February. Verizons chat-assist group wasnt able to see it or fix it. Calling corporate was no help - long holds and them not being able to find a problem. I made an appointment at this store and in less than an hour, Stephen and Sue had the problem located and fixed - no trouble or fuss. I had never set foot in their store before, but they helped me with my problem like I was a long-time customer - and that goes a long way in my book. Id much rather give them my business next round rather than my local Verizon store or the website. You guys have earned a customer - many thanks for that!

I have never been fond of Verizon customer service, but I must say that my recent experience was great. With Covid-19 you had to stay in your car until they come and get you. It was a short wait, but once in it went smoothly. The gentleman was friendly, he made suggestions, we got the phone we needed and we were done.

The only reason I’m giving 1 star is because you can’t leave 0 stars. Went in there on 2-13-21 to buy 2 new iPhone 12 pro’s. We were sold the phones and told not to turn them on till we were ready to set them up. And that they were ready to go. When we got home 18 miles later and tried to activate them they would not work. Dustin at Verizon griffin had lied to us. We wound up going to an independently owned Verizon store and they did way more for us than the store that we bought them from.

I don’t usually use this store only because there are closer ones in Macon Ga. but they were the store that had the phone I needed. I walked in and out with the phone I bought online in 5 mins. Very fast service after I ordered the phone they emailed me within 2 hours saying it was ready. I never have received one email from the store in Macon saying my order was ready and never get this fast service. They had great customer service!!!

So I went here to purchase a new phone. I didnt want to pay installments, I wanted to purchase a phone. They gave me grief about it. Then didnt setup my service correctly, and gave me false information about the transfer of my phone from the old to the new. If I could give less than 1 star I would. No impressed and will never return.

Stayed on hold for over an hour with tech support, because my wifes iPhone X stopped taking a charge. This is the second time it has happened. We just replaced the battery 3 weeks ago. Brand new, from Apple, at their service store. No answer. I finally hung up. Very disappointed in Verizon. I guess its time to start looking for a new provider.

Wow, had no problem selling me a very expressive phone and accessories, then left me standing there talking with an over the phone tech to transfer stuff from old phone to new phone. The over the phone tech kept asking for the in store rep who was now busy with next customer and was not happy to help. Took 2 hours and left me shaking I was so upset. The over the phone tech apologizing for the poor service. It will be a cold day in Hell before I go back.

Jackie and Jonathan were so pleasant! Jonathan helped me when my phone decided to completely stop working. He was honest, gave me suggestions to help save pictures I cant replace due to a loved one passing and did an outstanding job! He stayed at the store a little bit past 9pm to help me and was so patient. Jackie helped me a few days prior to this event and was so sweet. Im truly thankful for Jackie and Jonathan being at my local store. I hope their professionalism and kindness is rewarded!

The reason for the one star is for the dude that worked there was really cool with my baby boy!!!!!!!! But we showed up at Verizon when it was still daylight didnt leave till after dark was almost the last one out they locked us inside If you need to go to Verizon wireless you need to make sure that you have nothing else to do for the rest of the day because you will spend your whole day there then the price that they give you including everything taxes and all is always not the case they tell you they wont charge you for the activation fee but then they still charge you the activation fee these people are too much

I went to this store to look at upgrading from my Blackberry Bold to the iphone SE. I carry my phone in a certain pocket and no other smart phone up till now had a chance of fitting. I wanted to see if the Se would fit but it was locked to the display stand. I explained what I needed to know and asked if I could see if it would fit in my pocket. The lady said she couldnt undo the security device. I asked if there was another phone someplace in the back of the store that I could try and see if it would fit. Again she replied she could not remove the security device. I explained that I couldnt buy the phone without first seeing if it fit. She told me that it would fit. She didnt even know how big the pocket was. She then asked what phone I currently had, I showed her and she says oh it will fit. She didnt know and she didnt care. I left. Made me feel like looking at a different provider also.

Called to help a customer and spoke to the manager Derrick Parkey. He was NO help and had a very rude attitude and was not concerned with helping customer. Could inform me of all the reasons not to help but never would help. Thanks for nothing hope all customers drive down road a few more miles to get REAL customer service!!

Ive been on a Verizon prepay plan for years. I buy my phones used from eBay or Amazon, so the only reason I go into this store is when/if I need a new new sim card. (I could just order a sim card online, but then I would have to pay shipping and wait for delivery.) I usually get them to activate the device too, since Im already there. I admit, there is always a long wait (at least 30 minutes), even if they arent busy. I just sit down and read a book while I wait. The staff have always been friendly. Ive never had a problem activating a phone at this location. I did notice that if you are on prepay, they dont ask if you need additional help setting up the phone or transferring settings, but I dont want them to help me with that anyways. They dont pressure you to buy any accessories or upgrades if you are on prepay. I feel like they just want to get me activated and out the door without being rude. That works for me; I dont want to be there in the first place ;p

No one smiled, they walked away from me while I was talking, then I was told if I wanted to do anything but pick up my order, you know like activate the new phones, I had to get back in line.

Dirty filthy liars. They will tell you anything to sell a phone. They tell you a phone screen is covered by manufacturer warranty, then it isnt. Its half the cost of new phone because you cant add warranty now since they lied and said it would be covered. Dont buy from them!

Ive calmed down and this is the nice version... Similar to others experience. I stopped in on a not-too-busy weekend morning to see if the store sold the Arlo Go camera (since its on the Verizonwireless website) and was COMPLETELY IGNORED. The store wasnt very busy and there were initially two employees behind the counter. During the time I was there, others came out from the back room (I counted 5 in uniform shirts) and two of them assisted others. So far, no big deal. I stood about 5 feet back from the counter and hoping I could simply ask the quick question do you have the Arlo Go in the store? If no, Id have left. If yes, Id have waited my turn for a sales rep.Instead, I just stood there (awkwardly facing the counter) for like 5-10 minutes and NOBODY even made eye contact to say, sir, well be with you in a moment. An ignored customer is a disrespected customer and thats never good. It was Saturday morning and rather than being in business attire, I was in jeans/golf shirt/golf hat and must have looked like just some middle-aged white guy who apparently had an ignore me sign on my back.I may be too polite to interrupt someone whos helping another customer to ask my 5 second question, but that doesnt mean I dont care about how Im treated. Terrible customer service Griffin Verizon! From reading others comments, it sounds like it wasnt an anomaly. Somebody who cares (assuming they exist) needs to have a come-to-Jesus with the store manager. This is a leadership problem, not an employee problem. Never again... Ill go to Peachtree City or elsewhere, but not this store.

I came to the Tanger Outlet for some shopping since my birthday is Saturday. I googled the closest verizon store so I can upgrade to the newest iPhone. I walked to the guy at the desk and asked if there was a sign in tablet and he said NO. A few minutes later a guy came in from sweeping the outside premises (found out later he is the manager) and asked if I had signed in and I told him that the guy just told me that there wasn’t a sign in system. (I should have left then) He then proceeds to tell me that I was next anyway. I waited about 20 minutes before I was assisted. I explained to the salesman (Josh) that I wanted to upgrade my line and my Husband’s line. He pulled up my account, asked to see my ID and asked me to verify my account password, which I did. He says that my husbands samsung has an equipment balance of $280 which I advised I would go ahead and pay so he can upgrade early. Josh then went to the back and placed a Fraud alert on my account. He came out about 15 minutes later with a toll feee number written on a sticky note and said that there has been too much activity on my account and I need to call that number to straighten it out, which I did. The manager Mario comes to me while I’m on the phone with the fraud dept and says it will take 48 hours before your account unlocks. I tried logging in to my Verizon mobile app and I can’t access it. Now I’ve had my Verizon account since 2007 and have never experienced anything like this.As I was getting ready to leave I asked the store manager Mario for his business card and he said he doesn’t have one. I asked for the salesman Josh’s businesses card and Mario said he doesn’t have one either. He said that there was nothing he could do about my account and he suggests that I go to the store I normally go to for assistance.All in all the people at this location are not there to help and I would not recommend anyone to visit that location!

This Verizon store has come a long way in improving in-store customer service. My daughter and I visited this business on the day after Christmas because my phone had stopped working. The store was so crowded that we felt certain our wait would be long. Instead, Roscoe (a Verizon rep) took care of our concerns and had us on our way withing 20 minutes. Nothing but liars in that store. They told me changing my plan would lower my bill 20.00 a month and give me more data. My bill went from 250.00 a month to 800.00 I took my new phone back 2 days after buying it due to issues. Told them I didnt like the phone wanted to get a different one. They said we have to try a few things first if it still has problems well exchange it. I explained Im a trucker and could not get into stores that easy if the issues continued and it may not be possible to get into another store. They said that was their policy. They didnt fix the phones problem. Of course by the time I could get back in I was past the 15 day exchange. Theyre policy was send me another phone. I told them no. I paid for a new phone not a refurbished phone. They assured me it would be a new phone. Well the phone came in today. What did the box say? Like new refurbished phone. Im on the phone with Verizon now. If they dont get it straightened out this store will be personally responsible for losing a 15 yr loyal customer. One thing I hate is a liar.

I went in once to try to resolve data issues on my phone, my older phone wouldnt receive any data. A helpful guy tried to troubleshoot for like 1.5 hrs and he was great - trying very hard to help. But that experience with his attempts and advice was quickly upended by this unhelpful lady that was more interested in gossiping with her work friends than helping any customers. I was forced to get a new phone because the service went out completely a few weeks after the data stopped working. I explained to her that my old phone doesnt work AT ALL and needed help to activate the new phone that was shipped to me. She told me to hold on then said she just text me a reset code for My Verizon so I could log on and activate it. I have no data OR service how the heck do you expect me to receive a text, call to verify, or log into My Verizon? Then she proceeded to ask me the last 4 of every other person listed on the account and kept trying to restart and activate the phone which I had already done and now the new phone was basically locked. She told me to call up the other people and get them double check their ssa card and give it to me a 2nd time which I kept pointing that they had already given me and I had written down (and again, with what phone?!). Like lady, I just need help activating my phone, I have my ID and phone number and both phones registered to me and were all admins on the account and you cant help or understand the issue. Instead I had to go back home and spend 4hrs on wifi with the dead phone - Facebook calling the other 2 on the account to get them to call customer service to help me activate. Headache and a half.

Wait time here is horrible... I am waiting now to return a recalled Note 7, d told the about time would be 30 minutes, now Im being told the wait time will be 15-20 minutes longer. No excuse for not having dedicated people to swap these phones or in an expedited manner. After 70 minutes and still no help I ended up leaving. First Verizon badgers me to return the phone due to recall, then they arent staffed properly to handle the people returning their phones. Im a dissatisfied customer... I would give zero start if I could and Im contacting the Better Business Bureau

I went the this Verizon on Saturday because I was having issues with my Apple Watch that I just purchase. My watch wouldn’t hold a battery charge & it couldn’t connect to it cellular network. After explaing that to them, they asked me if I tried resting my watch. I said no. Well the lady who reset my watch not only messed up my watch even more he processes to tell me my phone was out of date that I needed to up grade my phone. I said you’re telling me an iPhone 8 Plus is “too out of date” your kidding me right? Proceeds to tell me that its my phone not my watch. I asked for my watch back & said if they would replace it since she messed it up even MORE! Now it won’t connect to my phone, it won’t stay charged, and it still won’t connect to the cellular next work 😑 she told me no. Sorry. I paid for 300$ watch that now doesn’t work & ive has LESS than a month & pay insurance on the watch & why won’t replace it! She gave me my watch back & told me to have a nice day & ignored me like I wasn’t even there. I tried talking to another employee there & she also told me there was nothing they would do about it. Its my phone. That store was a joke & VERY rude to meI went to another version store near the Ingles in Griffin. I walked in with tears rolling down my eyes because I just spend good money on this watch that DOESNT work now. Brandon (the one who was helping me) clearly looked at the watch & saw it wasn’t working or doing anything. He did everything in his power to make sure I was happy. He spent 3 and a half hours in the phone with Verizon customer service & Apple for them to replace my watch. If you go to ANY Verizon store go to the one near Ingles in Griffin. Glass broke on my moms phone, carried in to this store beside ihop to purchase a new one and have it installed (purchased original at this store). They turned us away, said they dont install them on used phones, even though the phone was only a month old. Carried the phone to my moms verizon store in eufaula ala. Brand new Verizon customer (left sprint after YEARS of service). Upon turning in my old phone, the employee removes my otterbox, and never handed it back to me. After getting home I remembered I did not have the old otterbox to the other phone. When the store opened the next morning I called and explained the situation, only to be told that my otterbox was thrown away. I asked if they would be replacing it, just to get a run around (he said-she said) to finally be offered only 1/2 off something in their store. The mgr even said he saw MY case laying on their counter and didnt bother to hand it to me, or bring it to my attention. I was inside the store twice and he never once brought anything to my attention. After calling Verizon, talking to 2 people, long holds etc.... I am now getting my case replaced 100% free to me. I WILL NEVER enter this location again. Why not handle something like this inside the store? Choose a new job solution mgr!!
