The man there was very nice and explained anything questions we asked. He was never pushy and was very pleasant. Wish I could remember his name.

Well I went to Clayton homes because they said that they will help you get a home regardless of what your credit score is. I went in there with a decent credit score and even the sales person said my credit was decent but then I got turned down by the two companies that were supposed to be able to help me get into a home. Seems like they found every excuse to turn me down whether I had good credit or not. I feel like they were discrimative towards me because Im a single mom with less then perfect credit. I guess Ill be trying elsewhere since what they offer is false advertisement.

The homes were all decorated beautifully!! I was a little bummed that the decor &/or furniture wouldnt come with the home. I fell in love with several of them but only one was large enough for our needs & available right away.

RUN from CLAYTON HOMES OF GREER! There are PLENTY of other dealers within the State. The attitudes from all of the staff especially management doesnt deserve our time or money.

BEWARE!Picked out flooring, siding and shutters. Salesman scheduled closing for the next week. Next week I called and he said he was on vacation but you are locked in and dont worry. The next week they had a price increase and of course the LIARS didnt honor their word!

I was visiting in Greer SC and stopped at Clayton Homes. Very helpful on site manager or sales agent there, Im sorry but I forgot his name but he told me that he used to work in Florence SC. Thanks again for all your info

So far i love CH is greer the layout and the employees there are super professional and 100% honest. we wanted to start our process in may and waited for our credit to go up. Joe was Real with us about what we needed to do we will gladly be going through Joe for our sale we are focused on the Chantilly they have for our family and i had friends that went through them as well. we hope to start process in late august!

Joe is awesome and very nice. They got great variety of homes.

My wife and I went in to ask about a modular that we had looked at on lineOnly a picture of the outside but the craftsmen style we wanted. We got absolutely no help from any of the salesman and they seemed like they really didnt care. I asked for the manager and he was as cluless as the rest. Really surprised because they werent busy. I wont purchase a home there

Personally, can I Rate myself? We looked at the homes ourselves, we found the home we wanted online and then went in to view it. We did the application ourselves and had to explain to the team at Clayton how to access it (sure our situation was different since we went to Oakwood at first). We stayed in touch with our loan provider to ensure what we could get. We searched for our own land because their advertisement says they will help but giving an email with some listings is not help. We contacted others about finding and seeing land. We continued to call and stay on Clayton when our person was absent (for a week). We handled the miscommunication between the manager and the sales person due to him being out. We always reached out to Clayton since they didn’t reach out to us. When we reached out saying we’ve looked and looked to no avail...the response, “it will be here Friday around noon” no other response.. no sorry I didn’t help more. No, I still want to help you let me do this. No, at least thank you for considering us. Just that our check would be there Friday. We may be buying just a “mobile home” but if you suck-you suck and there’s nothing that’s going to make that sound better. You guys need to do better since you work off commission and I can’t deny your commission because you don’t do good job, so it’s important you stay in contact with the customer so they know what’s going on. Why do we have to always call you? Why do you advertise you will help find land if you don’t really help? What do you define as help? This review is legit and a direct reflection of how we felt about the whole process. We are grateful we got approved and we are super bummed we can’t find land but that’s just something they don’t make more of. Do better guys! I may not be a seller but I could definitely sell people homes (it’s in my DNA) and I’m glad we sold the home to ourselves because you didn’t do it.

I will start by saying Greer is the store to go to. Ask for joe! He got me everything I wanted plus some that Greenville location wasnt even willing to try for me! So dont go to greenville location! Greers group is amazing and nice people to work with. We have had some issues. I will say some things were a little misleading. Word play. Vinyl flooring. Nope its sheet vinyl (linoleum) said upgraded real wood cabinets. Nope! Inside is real. Outside is just press board covered with some type of vinyl maybe, and it a horrible design. It peels off easily. I highly suggest if you go this route do different flooring and cabinets. We had issues with our floor. They wound up cut all up and looked hideous. Clayton homes didnt want to deal with it so they just settled out. We had to replace floors. They paid for materials but we had to find and get all the materials and pay labor. 1200 sq ft. Worth. Ask for better appliances. Frigidaire is terrible to work with. Clayton homes doesnt take care of that warranty. You have to deal with the dreadful frigidaire! Our walls are terribly curved. They came out and told me about levels. Its a level 2 they said. Out of 5 which is acceptable to them. Theres just a lot I would take into consideration before purchasing a mobile home in general.

Good customer service--we were guided through the home selection process easily, and every step of the way Brian and Joe advised us closely as to what was happening in the process. A few misunderstandings and miscommunications along the way, but that happens somewhere anytime theres a large business transaction. Almost to the end--we havent been easy customers to deal with in everything and theyve still given it their best. Five stars.

Met with Joe he was more interested in the ball game than answering my questions. Comming from a sales background you never know who is a buyer. Will find another lot.

If I could give them zero stars I would. We bought a home there, and they were wonderful up until they got their money. They will tell you it takes about a month to get set up, but by the time they get us in, it will have been around 45 days. They had two weeks of beautiful weather and no work was done. They will tell you that they are waiting on the brick masons or the deck guys. Here is a thought...Hire more contractors to meet the demand of your customers. I feel like had we not paid up front, they would have gotten it done a lot quicker. If my business was in jeopody of getting a bad name because i couldnt get the job done in time, then I would access the problem and fix it.

DW was super helpful and answered every single question we had. Beautiful homes on display. Overall had a wonderful experience.

Clayton was next on my list to look at homes. After reading reviews of the problems people experienced, I think Ill take a pass

Very nice homes they were high priced by the time u get land and all of the set up fees the sales man was nice and very informative but it would cost the same to buy a house as it does to buy a mobile home at this place

I just wanted to say we are buying our home from Clayton homes in Greer it will actually be delivered soon but I wanted to say that I have borderline personality disorder and everyday tasks and all are very very hard for me its quite debilitating but as soon as Joe found out he did so good with my disorder even letting me go get my sister from the parking lot when I was overwhelmed and couldnt understand something we were discussing (if you have a mental disorder that makes life difficult always make sure to let people know it really makes things easier) so thank you to clayton homes in Greer
