The past three times I’ve checked their website, it shows they have things in stock that are not in stock. Twice I’ve asked the manager to honor a discount shown on the website, and she has refused to honor it. When I say that’s the specific reason I’ve come to this store, she’s gotten a little snippy with me. Instead of apologizing for the inconvenience to me (the customer), she gets defensive and makes me feel like I actually owe her an apology.This store is closer to my home than the Woodruff Road store, but I plan to avoid patronizing this store as much as possible. Not a good experience, and has gone continually downhill since they opened.

We went to Ulta today and was really confused about what kind of hair products to use.Usually associates at beauty stores are clueless.But I love the greer location!They always wear smiles and are always helpful. We went in today and I’ve never felt more seen and heard and truly helped!I wanted to give a shout out to BLAKE!! He’s super nice, super knowledgeable and intelligent .He was helpful in choosing the correct products for my daughters hair as she had bleached it and severely damaged !I will be back because he took the time for me in this crazy fast paced world .It was very pleasant !Thank Ulta for keeping neat stores as well !Love love love !!

Great makeup and nail products. But if you are African American don’t count on Ulta. They will decline to do your hair and make up excuses. Yet advertise they can do all hair types.

Would really hate for this place to get actual customer service. walked in for a mobile order was not greeted and 3 workers watched me stand there and even made eye contact. this is unfortunately the 3rd time this has happened and when i asked for a woman who i presumed to be a manager for assistance instead of helping she called for someone else in the store to come. i’m sure straightening up the self tanning mits was more important to here then a customer. if you wanna feel like a burden go here!! as much personality as a morgue

I went in for a hi- lite came out with double process unnecessary darker hair then my natural... after a few washes I have no clue what color my hair is. I have to wait and go to someone that knows what there doing now. Am I upset yes I’m am I should just not paid!

I walked in and a lady greeted me. The store was clean and organized but I didnt feel welcome. The employees gave off a tone and wasnt very helpful. Especially at the cashier I couldnt wait to get to my car, Im sure there are some friendly people!

Just left this store. Wanted to try a new skincare routine, came in with a list and ready to spend $$$. It would have taken 2 minutes for a store employee to help me find the items. The lady who welcomed me to the store pointed me in the general direction to find the first item. She asked other employees at the front to assist me and they declined. Lady who greeted me went off to do her own thing. I spent the next 20 minutes trying to find the items myself while the employees stood around the front joking together. The store had almost no one in it, so they weren’t busy. I finally left what items I had found in a pile and walked out. Completely unprofessional staff.

Savannah was very helpful and knowledgeable. She took her time answering my barrage of questions without making me feel like I was a nuisance.

Had a bad experience yesterday at store in gree. The girl that checked me out was not very helpful when I was trying to use my coupon. One item was on sale but didnt ring up correctly. I tried to tell her but she seemed like she was more interested in the line behind me than helping me. So I left and went to my car, added up the stuff myself, went back in and made them refund it all a d rering it and I saved 1800. I did not get her name because I was too upset to ask.

Wouldnt let my cousins husband pick up her makeup order even though he had her on the phone and had her email, to prove that he was her husband. Very rude, bad service.

I will never shop with Ulta again!I ordered a product for damaged hair,it said online free gift with 30 dollar purchase, so when I went to pick up my order curbside pick up,..they had every excuse in the book for why I wasn’t going to get my free gift, and offered no help to fix the situation,just stood there looking at me!!I have been shopping here for years but never again,,there is too many other beauty stores to go to without having to put up with this bull!

The one in Greenwood S.C. where I obtained a eye concealer with the help of this young lady that works there, turned out to be the best experience Ive had. She found me just the right color tone for my skin. Loved it!!!!

I absolutely loved the selections at this location as well as the fact that they have a MAC counter (mine in OH doesn’t). I had a wonderful sales associate who went above and beyond to help me with picking a new foundation and powder.I will stand by the fact that you can have the best products in the nicest stores but if you don’t have great customer service - your company won’t be successful. Tricia was wonderful, she took the time to help me and gave me the best one-on-one service I’ve ever experienced at an Ulta before!!

I had a great experience at this Ulta location today. An associate named Katie was so helpful in helping me find a color match for a drugstore foundation and concealer. She toke her time to get the match correct and was so friendly! My money was well spent today.

When I came in the door no one said a word to me. Just looked at me and went on about their conversation . I couldnt find any help finding what I was looking for. Seems like the price is a bit high for everything in there. maybe its worth it, I dont know like I said no one would help me. I left the store empty-handed. As I was leaving the cashier said have a nice day She could have asked me if I found what I was looking for but that would have taken too much effort and she clearly wanted to get back to her conversation with the other cashier. My point is, If the product is going to be that expensive, someone should be there to tell me why its worth that price. I drove all the way over there and left disappointed.I guess Ill go to Belk Update to owners response: They were perfectly able to assist me, they just didnt want to stop their own conversation with each other to do so. You should address your employees regarding their work ethic

Requested assistance with locating lipstick and liner. The representative (think her name was Zaria?) was professional and assisted me patiently, quickly, and to the best of her ability.(One Another Note: A different rep who was heavyset and had long brown curly hair, managed to magically appear every other place I was even though I was being well taken care of the entire time. It screamed profiling! as she tripped over her clumsy legs and knock product over to get out of dodge when she realized I was watching her back. Doing your job is one thing, but that disgusting behavior usually gets 0 stars and a complaint, but Zaria was amazing so I will give at least 4 stars.)

Place was crowded and shelves where not kept organized. The layout of the store itself is close to disorganized. And prices where way over priced. I went to the store over and found the SAME product $5 cheaper. Sorry but if your looking for the best bang for your buck this is not the store. If your looking to buy overpriced items in a cluttered environment with judgmental eyes from the employees, who couldnt even explain what their rewards program then this is perfect for you.

Customer Service is pretty good here. I just hate how the cashiers are with coupons that their company sends customers via email. I do understand there are exclusions, but before telling a customer the coupon simply wont work-you could at least try to scan first!

I love this place its just got everything a girl possibly needs and they have alot of good deals all the time but certain items r reasonable priced n also good stuff too but theres also alot of high dollar items but I guess its ur preference but they have every brand name possible from tons of hair protects to the best foundation, to eye creams n moisturizing products for all ages and customer service is always super nice n helpful . I often come into this store for my makeup products . This particular time I was looking for a certain product I found it but didnt know my shade of makeup for this new product I received no help starting out and eventually received help once I sat down at the Mac counter the young lady was nice and helpful it took awhile for us to find my color this store needs diversity in the employees that they hire even though the lady was helpful she could not help me find the right color one of the foundations looked orange on my face and she said it looked fine overall I like the store .

This ulta is always under stocked, they never have anything I need. I place online orders and it says it’s available at that store. I drive down there and can’t get it because it’s not in stock?!? If you dont have it why could I buy it online? Still waiting for my refund 7 days later. Also I ordered another day online around 2:00 one day went to pick up & got there around 5:30 soon as I was off work befor they closed... But they claimed they didn’t have it ready and I would have to come back tomorrow... really?! AND Not to mention the staff is always so RUDE. There are maybe 1 or 2 friendly staff workers but if you wanna deal with attitude and not being able to get the product you need then dont go there please. There’s another much more helpful and friendly ulta 10 miles down the road. 👍 this is my honest and true review. And what I’ve had to deal with from this ulta lately.

I was looking for some lipstick that would stay on and a better hair spray. I was helped by 3 different people and each one was patient, kind, full of information and very helpful.

Very unorganized seems the merchandising could use some help and their sales people were no where to be found. The cashiers talk to much amongst themselves creating a long wait time in line. And the order online pick up is a hot mess. Dont get tied up in that.

Every time I come in this Ulta (which is quite often), the employees are always friendly and at least one always speaks to me as Im shopping. The store is always really clean, and of course, the selection is great. The one complaint I have is that some of the testers get trashed, but I dont fault the store -- I blame the parents of unruly children or people who dont know how to simply swatch something and move on without completely crushing it or ruining it. Other than that (which, again, is not the fault of the store), its always a pleasure to shop here!

Just leaving the Ulta on Wade Hampton. Had an appointment and found out consultant went on break a minute before my appointment time. This is not the first time Ive had a bad experience at Ulta and I dont usually write reviews. I have tried 3 different Ulta locations and had the same results. I dont know if its poor management or poor hiring. When Im paying $50 for eyeshadow I want to be sure I like the color on me, when Im buying $70 for face cream I want to make sure its the right type for my skin type.

Im more writing this just to let whoever is in charge of the store what happened...not to get anyone in trouble, fired, etc. Walked in on 6/16/2019, Sunday afternoon. Never got a hello, how are you, can i help you, etc, from any one. At least 2 employees to the close to and to the left of the door watched me walk in. They watched me walk in the door. Zero interaction. They looked at me for a second..and then kept talking to each other. I walked towards the back, looking for my items. Nothing. At least 3 other employees past by me while I was there. Zero. And one of those actually looked at me, made eye contact for a moment, kept walking. Honestly. Say something. Hey, hi, how are you...something. So I just left. I love Ulta products and have always gone to Woodruff Rd. in the past, where this just doesnt happen. Tell the people to at least act like they care someone comes in the store.

I bought perfumes 400 dollars they hardly smell. in Macys i bought oneIt only takes 2 spray and it strong last long but when I bought Ulta perfums the smell is weak those doesnt last long at all u have to spray more then twice .

Excellent customer service but the process to pay on the store credit card is not user friendly. It takes an act of Congress to pay your billand you cant pay in the store. This can cause you to be late putting late fees in their companies pocket which is unethical

Had appt with Kathy ... She likes to tell you how good she is and all her many years of perm experience.... I had excellent experience with Ulta perm in Dothan Al... I explained my chemo history ... ask her NUMEROUS times to get information as to specifics regarding last perm....she refused again telling me how great her perms turned out...last perm required 1.5hrs...I sat in her chair 3 hours...again ask her to call regarding timing process...refused....she neither blotted curlers nor did she shampoo after curlers out..I left wet...dried frizzy...did not smell like new perm...today I look as if electricity got in my hair...does not respond to curling iron..just goes back frizzy. I wore scarves and hats for 3 years dealing with cancer...Fri my first time to attend gdaugh event... Ill be wearing a scarf again...called shop...told to shampoo...did10 so...even wet kinky...better off without perm...no understanding from shop...yeah, dont know what can do ... try a conditioner...never had my hair so messed up....at least there was reason when it fell out...will be talking to license board...rate - 10 if an option

URGENT READ BEFORE YOU GET ANY BROW WAX OR SERVICE AT THE ULTA IN GREER, SOUTH CAROLINA!!!!! I came into the Greer Ulta location with my child and I asked about getting a brow wax. I spoke to Melanie who is the brow girl for benefit and she said she could wax my eyebrows for me. So i sat down and we proceeded with the service and Right off the bat i noticed she appeared to be unfocused, giddy and in an altered state of mind. She was OPENLY talking to me about how she was high and i immediltly became uncomfortable. She was dripping hot wax and giggled about it when she waxed my skin off of my eye because the wax was hot!!!! As soon as the service was over i paid for my service and i left because My child was upset and i had to get out of there. Ulta needs to drug test all of their empolyees and i will be calling the corporations office for ulta and state board and letting them know that they need to drug test their employees because not only is this unprofessional it was dangerous and does ulta not have a policy that is in place and implemented for drug use?????? I will tell ALL of my friends about my experience here and to not shop here!

I will not ever go back to this location nor will I ever go to another ULTA anywhere, I was lied to by a lady named cat and Kristin in the salon about pricing on getting my hair done when I made an appointment I made sure to check the price again, I drove all the way from travelersrest s.c. to greer and when I got there they said it would 185 dollars and I was told 111 dollars the lady cat tries to make excuses as to why she gave me that price and then tries to say you couldnt do permanant hair color over greys well that just goes to show she just came out of school and I was glad to walk out and not let them do my hair!!!!! They are liars and I have plenty of friends and family that shop there but after this they wont nomore!!!!!

Extremely rude cashier/manager named Julia works here she will tell you that you cannot get a receipt or return an item without an ulta account which is extremely false.
