Customer service was terrible, I was asking to return a gas line fitting that was $9.50 I found one at Walmart for $2.88 the owner gets in my face and yells at me to get out of the store

I normally don’t write reviews, but Bennie, Chrystal, Heather, Clint and the rest of the folks at H&L deserve the credit. They do a GREAT job. I have been amazed at how knowledgeable Bennie is about boats. He has fixed my Ski Nautique, pontoon boat, Carolina Skiffs (2) and bass boats (2). When they tell me what’s wrong and here’s the price, he’s correct and the price is what he said. He tells me how long he’ll need the boat and it’s been spot on. Basically, these days it is hard to find someone who is competent, knowledgeable and trustworthy, and when you do find them, stick with them. That’s been my experience with the six boats I’ve entrusted to them. Now I’ve sent all my friends and in-laws to him, and now they are customers too.

These guys gave us nothing but the run around. Could not rely on anything they said. We were more than patient and cooperative with them. I can not imagine anyone giving them a good review after what my husband and I experienced here.

I was Bennys first customer when he started this business. I had previously dealt with him when he worked else where. I have had numerous dealings with him. He is very honest and very reasonable with his prices. This is a family ran business that treats you like family.

I dropped off my boat on monday and incredibly they had it ready in 2 days. Very nice crew from top to bottom. I cant say enough good things about them.

My boat has been there for a year. It has had 3 jasper engines put in it and nothing worked I signed a waiver from jasper to get a refund that was sent to bennie. I was assaulted today after trying to check on my boat.Hes been paid 4 times over 4000 dollars and yet no boat. Im suing and would not recommend him to anyone. I finally was forced to pick it up they put the new engine in the back of my SUV and my boat is totally torn apart. Worst place ever.

Worst customer service imaginable. Would not send my worst enemy to this place. Cant fix the problem the first time then charges you again to try and fix it the second time. Simply put Unprofessional!!

I was camping at Lake Greenwood and the starter went out on my outboard. I called H and L and they told me they had one. They had to take a starter off of another motor and the owner said there would be no charge and for us to have a wonderful week camping. Now you cant beat that kind of service.
