FYE has a great selection of items, however, when you go to check out, the employees use high pressure tactics to get you to sign up for their rewards program. It sounds great! But the program charges you $11.99 a month without your consent. When you tell them no thanks they just keep going and going. When I said no, the employee turned to my husband and started asking him!! No means no!

Good but I wish the Vinyl was updated. My personal opinion though. Still a good store.

Shoutout to Jacob. Had a really weird experience with the Carleton location but Jacob answered everything I needed and was able to get me set. Customer service was amazing!

The mall feels like its slowly dying and this store more than others. It feels more like a flee market than anything else. The prices are more than double for somethings than other stores, and Ive been told by employees at other stores that prices are set based on trending prices which seems weird. The employees also seem on edge. I didnt sign up for the rewards thing after having been a member before and the employee seemed like he would be shot if I didnt sign up. Over all the entire experience was...sticky if that makes sense.

Its the BEST place to shop at the mall, hands down. It does what Think Geek thought it was.

Awesome place to buy stuff, however, predatory sales. You will be asked about a VIP membership, but nowhere will they say it costs anything. I assumed it was an awards program that many other places have for visiting often, but its a paid membership!Worse off, its not even just one thing they charge more for, theyll also sneak in magazine subscriptions if you dont ask questions. I had to have them remove the magazines at the register AS I WAS CHECKING OUT, and had to call to cancel what would turn into fees a few weeks later.

The clerk pressured my wife into signing up for a membership, she thought it was like a grocery store discount, so she went along with it to be polite. He didn’t mention until the end that it was something she would have to pay for. She attempted to cancel the service that same day, and the person she talked to said it was cancelled, but we have now been charged for it.Don’t sign up for anything.

They have a little bit of everything. Was even able to locate an old movie. Hard to find those unless you go online. Great little store.

Very small and not interesting selection of anime and music, shirts were thrown allover the place and I didnt spend long in there. If you love anime and music I dont recommend this FYE.

I love FYE, its for more pop culture and their international snacks are always really good. The majority has cds and small gifts here and there. Really good place for gifts in general.

Last year 1 of the employees tricked me into getting the membership and when I tried to cancel it after I realized I was being chartered I couldnt cancel it. I asked another employee about it a few weeks ago and he had the balls to lie to me about it being canceled when it had just charged me. Im gonna rip them both of them a new one if I keep being tricked and lied to. Im starting to hate and distrust your store.

My family and I were getting out for the day and decided to stop at the mall. It wasnt necessarily planned and we didnt have masks with us. One employee was super helpful (this was the first store we came to) and she was super kind. The next was a store manager, Im assuming, and told us we had to leave because we didnt have our masks with us. Im disappointed because we were paying customers and they lost our service because she was so rude about it. So, we went to Think Geek and spent our time and money there and they understood that we forgot our masks and they handed out disposable masks to us and explained that the stores were given several large boxes of them upon reopening and agreed that that shouldnt have happened at FYE. In a time of our country being chaotic, I expect to still be treated like every other living human that forgets things or isnt always 100% prepared.

I love this place for lunch! Their yellow curry is amazing! I typically like green curry, but be advised, the green curry here only comes in extra hot. They said they would make it mild for me, not the case at all. My dinner was so hot I could not eat it! Good food, but be careful what you order!

One of the managers was extremely rude when my mask dropped down for 2 seconds. She allowed an obnoxious family walk around with their masks barely on and didnt say anything to them.

The food court was clean and spaced 6 feet out for seating.

The employees will tell you Give us your email and you can get 10% off and a free magazine at checkout, but fail to inform you that you will get a monthly charge, not only from FYE, but from the magazine you chose too. I gave 0 consent to this and was never informed of any monthly charges, just that I would be getting %10 off on that order.

A little pricey but they have nice products. Everything is set up nice. Workers can be alright but you can definitely tell they have attitude and sometimes they cuss while talking to you or anybody else.

I wholeheartedly do not recommend this location, or their customer service for that matter. This location enrolled me into their paid rewards program without telling me it was paid. Now its a few months later and guess who is stuck with the bill. And when I tried to cancel it, the rep told me the benefits and said have a nice day trying to keep me from canceling it!10/10 stole my money0/10 will not shop here ever again

Clean store with lots of merchandise. All employees were helpful and made sure they were available to assist if needed. They have downsized their CD selection, but have expanded their vinyls and DVD collections. Great place to look for character shirts, hoodies, and accessories.

A serious hole in the wall, almost like they widdened a door on a closet. No music selection to speak of. Dont waste your time visiting this location.

I was thrilled when they had what I was looking for and at a good price...BUT when they enrolled me in their loyalty program I had no idea I was going to get billed for it and have to make three separate phone calls, one to cancel the loyalty program and two different times to cancel the ‘free’ magazines. Definitely not worth the hassle!

A lot of selections and really cool place. Idk why staff is always walking around in that place but a really good store.

Guy at the counter signed me up for their rewards card after i said I didnt want too. He signed me up anyway and it cost me 12 dollars a month. After I told him no and he said it wont matter It wont cost me anything, but if they sign you up and you use a card that gives them permission to charge your account every month until it is canceled.

Overly-pushy staff, but the products and experience is great. Im big into the Funko! pop bobbleheads, and they consistently have a variety to choose from.

Used to really like shopping here but the new younger staff is unmotivated and totally un-knowledgeable in its sale specials or it stock or what it actually carries. very disappointed.

Cashier Jacob scanned a paid membership into my transaction after I told him I hadnt been there in almost a decade and probably wouldnt be back. I told him to take it off and that it was his job to be more clear with customers. He told me, look, nothing like that is free. I didnt want it in the first place! Then told me he was the manager and left the floor when I asked for the district managers number. If you like being treated like garbage by smug staff this is the place for you.

I went to the store today and made a purchase. As I was paying I was asked if I hiad a loyalty card. When I said no I was told if gave them my email I could get a loyalty card and save 10% so I agreed. Never was I told that I was signing up to be charged $11.99 a month.. I was asked to sign that the information you provided to me was correct when I was actually signing to agree to term that I was never told about and never offered to read. If I would have not carefully looked at my receipt I would have not known any of this. This is extremely deceitful and dishonest and I have no desire to shop at a place who tricks their customers.

I am always amazed with the great prices. Combine that with the friendly and knowledgeable staff and that makes it probably my favorite place to shop for electronics.

Every time Ive gone they have been very pushy about signing up for their card. I understand that its part of their job, but if someone has to tell you no more than twice, you are risking losing the sale.

It was really retro, but modern too. A great place to buy movies, music, and get cool stuff!

Prices are absolutely ridiculous for CDs used and new. Actually everything in this store is pretty unreasonably priced. If you can wait then go online.

I dont shop here often but the cashier offered to sign me for the loyalty shoppers thing and would not take no as an answer and was extremely rude to me and kept pushing the promotion on me. As a fellow retail employee I understand the whole pushing things on customers but at some point you have to accept that the customer is not interested and just proceed with sale anyway. Terrible experience the staff really needs to be retrained on customer service. I will not give them my business anymore.

They have a bunch of really cool things. A variety of DVDs, music, pop culture and snacks foreign and domestic. But its all very high-priced. At least 10 percent more then other stores, so thats the downside.
