My first time here I was absolutely terrified. My n54 e92 335i had a pretty scary no crank no start that was kicked off by a sputtering death on my way to work. I was convinced that my pride and joy was a goner or it was gonna cost me thousands that I dont have as broke college kid.The staff here gave off an almost accidental calming vibe from the moment I walked in probably looking like a deer in headlights. This wasnt your usual cringey car salesman type of charm either; it was effortless and probably even genuine, unless theyre just Grammy award winning actors. I was also given courtesy calls from the head mechanic, Pete himself throughout every major step of the process. He was very attentive, descriptive, and willing to answer questions too.Finally down to the brass tax. The price was shockingly fair and reasonable considering that they are specialty BMW/Fiat/Mercedes mechanics. It was also a very quick turnaround as I was back in my beautiful Bimmer within two weeks after an in-depth inspection and repair. Pete even did the keys tradeoff himself, further explaining some extra things he discovered while under the hood.Needless to say, I will NEVER take my baby anywhere else for those more tricky repair jobs that I cant pull off with simple hand tools and jack stands.

Almost 2 hours for a simple oil and cabin filter change seems like an excessive amount of wait time when you have an appointment and are booked weeks out. Very friendly service team though and comfortable atmosphere. Safe during covid, only 1 waiting customer allowed appointment at a time.

I have taken several European model cars to Autobahn for work Im not able to do. It always pains me to hand over my car to anyone for service. This isnt the case with Autobahn. They are ALWAYS up front, honest and competent with my cars!

I bought a used car in Utah and decided to drive it back east. It was leaking coolant and I ended up at Autobahn late on a Friday afternoon. The guys here took amazing care of me and my car, got it in the air quickly, and diagnosed the problem within minutes. I fortunately made it back home without further issue, but I credit Autobahn for the help with their advice and supplies to let the car limp back home. If I lived in the area they would have won my business for life.

Finally someone that will work on a Land Rover! Everyone else refuses. They solve the problem, fast, and for an honest price.I have spent something like ten grand here and I have never gotten anything but excellent work.They won’t tell you need stuff you don’t. They won’t charge for work they didn’t do. They won’t pile on extra services to inflate the bill. They won’t refer you somewhere else because they cannot figure it out. They may not be the lowest price but they are the best value. You get what you pay for.

My son went for oil change. He had small oil leak, they suggest to fix for $800. Week later, when my son drove car off lot, engine shook the whole way home and never had any problems like that before. Very unhappy, hope they fix this situation or will consider calling a lawyer.

Always great service of import vehicles. Have used them for prepurchase inspection several times. They are very thorough and provide nice details. They can be a little more expensive than other shops, but they have the tools and expertise.

When my BMW developed a misfire, I brought it to Autobahn based on the recommendation of a co-worker who has been a long-time BMW owner. They quickly diagnosed the issue (bad coils), performed some other needed service, and got the car back to me in a very reasonable amount of time. I felt like they had the expertise and brand-specific equipment that other shops lack. This was the best experience Ive had with service and repairs on my new-to-me German car. I unhesitatingly recommend them.

Ive been a customer of Peters when he on smith valley rd. They have always done outstanding work. I never have to worry about any repairs. Since im a car guy, i also appreciate his detailed explanations. I just had a 98 Eurovan camper in for engine replacement, parts for a 22yo are hard to source. After a year, of both of us, getting the right parts, peter made sure EVERYTHING got taken care of. So, if you dont have a auto mechanic, well NOW YOU DO.

Have had all my Beamers and Mercs repaired by Autobahn and never had an issue. They always were able to fix my cars satisfactory.

This is the place to go if you have a German car in central Indiana. They are very knowledgeable, kind, and fair. I cant imagine taking my BMW anywhere else. I have dealt mostly with Tom and I trust any advice he has. He will explain clearly what issues are going on and what needs addressed immediately and what can wait. I know as long as I have a German car they will be the only ones to touch it.

First experience with them getting my Jaguar XJL repaired and serviced. They were extremely professional and thorough. They handled all the warranty communications, explained what was required and were very knowledgeable. I am hesitant to trust just anyone but they have earned my trust and gained a lifelong customer. More convenient, trustworthy and expeditious than the dealer in my opinion.

This is the BEST indy shop Ive ever worked with. They really do great work and their prices are EXTREMELY good. The only problem is they are always so busy so it may take an extra day or two to get your car done.... but believe me, its worth waiting for them.

I took an 04 Porsche Boxster for some miscellaneous repairs. Heres what I can share about the experience:1) It took a long time (especially considering the scope of work)2) Price was within what I expected. Not great, but were dealing with a Porsche.3) They left a trim piece off of my interior door pull. This isnt the end of the world. I asked them about it and they shrugged me off saying it was in the car. Problem is that it should have been ON the car. It was neither. The trim piece cost me $50 to replace used on ebay.Its unfortunate that a trim piece is going prevent me from ever going back. I suppose they have enough customers.

I just had my Saab serviced and Autobahn is CLEARLY FAR SUPERIOR to any other service center Ive been. Peter took time to listen to my concerns and made suggestions and Thomas took the time to explain all the issues so that I could make a decision on the repairs -NOT THEM-. I would drive from any distance to receive their level of professional courtesy and expert service.

My 2001 E55 needed extensive repairs. They were completed professionally, promptly and at a cost substantially lower than what I would have paid at the dealership.

When I purchased my VW, my thoughts were AutoBahn would handle any service. I had to tow my vehicle there which is very intimidating because there could be a chance of being taken advantage of. Not the case in the least. I spoke with Peter on the phone and he asked for pictures then gave me a plan A and a plan B in case. I was also given a price range that was very fair. My car was completed before anticipated. The price was right in the middle of the estimated range. AutoBahn is a very knowledgeable company but also very upfront and honest company. I will have no problems going back in the future. Thanks!

They do really excellent work here. Be prepared for the job to take a long time though and they are a bit rough on the pocketbook.
