Worked here for almost 2 months, and is by far the worst job i have ever had. I was hired as a delivery driver and worked over 55 hours a week. The owner of the store Anthony Gammel treated me and other younger employees like complete garbage. He is despicable. He acted like he hated me the moment he hired me. I did everything i was suppose to do, and did it right. He would constantly try and find something wrong with everything i did. He once called me over to him like a dog, and began to tell me that he heard i was slacking off and not doing anything all day. How would he know? Hes never there, and when he is there he just bullies me and the rest of the delivery drivers. He also came up to me once and told me to get out of his store that i am fired because he said someone told him i was dogging his mowers, and popping weelies on them. I mean does this guy sell motorcycles or lawnmowers? I had to sit there and beg for my job back, because i need a job to pay bills and support myself. He then told me if you f*** up one more time, youre gone i was like i didnt even do anything but okay. Eventually when i actually got fired, i missed a saturday i was suppose to work because i was up throwing up all night, and didnt wake up until 11:30 that morning. I had no ones number to call and i didnt want to call that late anyway cause i knew i was already probably fired. So i came in monday knowing i was about to be b****** out. I told a coworker that i was really sorry about missing that it was a really bad mistake on my part. Anthony came at about 7:15 that morning (btw thats the earliest i have ever seen him get there) and came up to me and asked me why i missed. I told him why and appoligized. After hearing my appolgy he told me to go clock out, that i dont work here anymore. I simply said okay, can you write me my check for the hours that i have worked he ignored me, so i asked him again, he ignored me again. So i just said i will be back up hete later to pick it up and i left. Long story short, i will never in my life shop at a NAPA store again and i recommend you dont either. And please dont work here unless you like being treated like a child and like being hated on all day by a guy that looks lile he just got laid off as a stunt double for that dude on duck dynasty.
