Researched and made decision I wanted a Lincoln Aviator. Looked for local dealers and preferred to stay in S. C. I DID comparison shop but my decision to buy from Ballentine came down to people. I contacted dealership and Bailey responded quickly, I rode to Greenwood and Mark Roberts greeted me and thanked me for giving yall the opportunity to sell me an Aviator** He had never met me! Guess I had told Bailey Id be the Senior with a box of donuts and Mark kept an eye out for some glazed treats! Bailey had a quote ready ( before trade) and I was very pleased with it, she showed me an Aviator and had my Buick Enclave evaluated for trade in which took just a few minutes. I left and assured she and Mark I would make a decision within several hours. My decision was to call Bailey and ask that she and Mark have a joint telephone conversation with me at which time I asked for the DONUT DISCOUNT which sealed the deal!!People are who you deal with and Mark, Bailey and Shari Adams all were professional but more important, personal.To conclude** An Aviator was found, it had more options than I originally requested but between Mark and Bailey I was convinced it needed to go home to North Augusta and it did!! I wish to thank all as its a team effort and many of the team are unknown but VERY important. I love this fine Lincoln and look forward to a continued friendship with Ballentine.
Room by navigator in for a check to see what was draining the battery while vehicle is sitting and off. The service department did a complete check and told me the real issue was only the battery. My car needed a special larger battery. Not often that shops tell you the real diagnosis and not try to get you to spend more on unnecessary fixes! Very pleased and will continue to use their service department for all my maintenance needs!
Very easy, pleasant, friendly, well prepared, professional, helpful, going beyond the call of duty and most of all not pushy. Will buy from them the next time I purchase a vehicle even though it took me one and half hours to get there from where I live. Bailey was our salesperson and gave me all the information I needed without pestering me. Also, Wells showed us all the old vehicles they had and the story behind each. You felt like you were a person there and not just someone there to buy a car.

Really disappointed how my wife was treated the other day when we went to pick up her car, having the transmission and motor mounts replaced. When they went to remove the battery out of the car to install the new mounts., the terminal came out of the battery. I don’t think I should have to pay for a battery that was fine before they removed it. They did discounted the battery some. The car didn’t rattle like it did but there was still a vibration when you put in gear. When Ricky came outside to talk to my wife about it, he got in it and felt the vibration, He said that he replaced what was broken and that the car was about 15 years old and that you are going to feel vibrations because how old it and that it wasn’t a new anymore. After being talked to like this, Ballentine Ford lost my wife as customer for good and because this is second time she was treated badly there.
The team at Ballentine Ford has been good to me and my family for going on 3 decades. From sales to service, Ive always felt taken care of and in good hands. Great experience! Did great work. With the exception of one piece that didnt snap back on right. However i pointed it out and they offered to make it right by order a new part and bringing when they receive the part which will be a 5 minute fix. Also they buffed out a scruff on a side they didnt even work on.

The selection of cars was great!! Shorty did a great job in helping us find, test drive, and purchase our car. He explained everything and demonstrated a lot of new features. I wasnt pressured, and I was given an extremely competitive price for what I was looking for. I even called months later to ask about some warranty scam that I thought might have had a sliver of legitimacy and they quickly confirmed that no action was needed for my warranty and that everything was already in place.Great, great experience. Recent experience trying to purchase a truck was handled poorly by the dealerships and in particular the management does not seem to respond to issues. I was in the midst of a transaction to purchase when the vehicle became unavailable from the transfer point they were using. I was assured they would locate a vehicle for me but I never heard back from the sales person nor management responded when I tried to voice my concerns.

First off, thank you for repairing my 2014 Ford Escape, again. Since this is the same problem you “fixed” last year. That being said, I can say I am not pleased with your service or your service department. You had my car over a week, the first time and charged us $100 for a warranted service. This time, as I was departing for a trip to Florida, for a week, it happened again. You kept my car almost 3 weeks, with no offer of a loaner. When I returned and inquired about the status, I was told it had not been touched and that you had 3 weeks of work before my car was brought in. When I checked the 3rd time, I was told the parts were in and my car would be next. When I was called to pick it up, in the third week the manager was on vacation, no paper work, no explanation, just another $100 charge for warranty work for the same problem that was “fixed” last year. Since it was a transmission problem I was told after two times of “fixing” it, Ford would not pay for a new transmission. To say the least, I am not happy with this whole situation. With that being said, I cannot say with any certainty, that I will be purchasing another Ford product from Ballentine Ford. Seems your products are inferior, your service is lacking, and your customer service is sad.Best regardsCLatham

A few years ago I wrecked my truck had insurance with nation wide and Ballentine was the body shop that they used. When I got my truck back later I noticed that the bed wasnt straight so I took it back and the guy over the body shop told me that all of them were like that so I went to a dealership and checked out a truck and it was straight. They had to replace my rear end then I noticed that only one tire was spinning when I went back the same guy told me that the problem was that I had one new tire and one older tire so when I put two of the same tires on it still only one tire was spinning then I got in touch with my insurance company a week later they called me and said that they had another rear end. Then I went to replace my brake pads I thought that they gave me the wrong ones then I found out that the rear end they put in was a 2009 which had smaller pads. Then I noticed that the plastic piece that went in the finder well was missing so I went back and the same guy told me that only the four wheel drive had both plastic pieces then we looked at the pictures of my truck it showed the plastic piece hanging down and on the invoice it showed where they had charged the insurance company for it there was a couple more things that wasnt right . I will never go back or recommend them to anyone.

Never really had any issues with this dealership, I needed my factory code read recently on my 2016 Ford explorer and the cost was only $20 so that was a win in my book!

I drove about two hours to look at my Ford Edge and she helped me get pre-approved before I arrived so all I had to do was test drive and sign a few papers. I sent a picture of the truck I wanted to Randy Pike and he immediately got a plan together to make the truck I wanted. Very friendly and did not try to sell me something. In the past I have used dealerships for car services and would sit in amazement at the service personnel trying to sell someone something. Example; Ms. Smith it looks like your whatever needs replacing; and usually she would say yes because she was trusting them because she did not know better. I personally had an experience at the Toyota dealership where I had took my Camry in because I believed it to need a water pump because it was leaking, I think pink, fluid on my garage floor. I paid to have it replaced. About a month and a half I return for service to have the service personnel to come out and tell me the water pump needing replacing. I informed him if it did they would pay for it because it was only a month and a half old. That made me think if I had not known better I would have bought a new water pump. Hate to think if I had been a little old lady on a limited income, she would have been taken to the cleaners. That was my last time going there. I trust Mike Carruth. He takes care of us and if he says I need something, I know I need it. Dont let him get away ever!!!!!
I am always pleased with the service at Ballentine Ford. It is prompt and thorough. The car is kept clean and the waiting room is also. I found a dent after arriving home and returned to the dealership. The General Manager said a dent specialist would look at it in three days and it was repaired free of charge. My Escape is seven years old and it has never been serviced at any other shop.
The best dealership in South Carolina. We have been doing business with them for 8 or more years and the service is excellent. We just bought an Edge and love it. The sales personnel is the best, we are treated with great respect from everyone. There is not pressure from them and they meet our wants as soon as they can. We bought 4 vehicles from them and have never been disappointed. We travel 65 miles each way to do business at Ballentine Ford. The service department is the best, making sure all requests are met with our satisfaction. Shorty and John have gone above and beyond to take care of us. These two sales people are great. The Ford dealer in Florida could not adjust the cost of a new battery with out a receipt for the battery from Ballentine.Bringing the battery back home and Ballentine (Ricky in Service) worked a miracle to get me a full refund of cost at the Florida Ford dealer.Five plus stars for Ballentine Ford and Ricky in Service.Thanks and keep trucking.Bob😎😷
9/19/14 Listed below is the issue that I had several days ago, however following my review, i received a phone from the service department directly to my cell phone. They offered to adjust the bill for the difference. I appreciate the offer and wasnt dissatisfied with the work, just the shock of the difference in the bill. Due to the manner in which this was handled following the review, I appreciate their commitment to customer service and adjusted the previous rating of the experience.9/17/14 Have had both of my automobiles serviced here for years. Been satisfied with the timeliness of the service on most repairs and didnt mind the inflated cost of doing business since most work would be dealer-certified with factory parts.Yesterday however, I was dealing with a person in the service department that I hadnt before. I was very specific on the repairs that were needed. I told them what I thought would happen once they looked at my brakes. I sat in the waiting room, the service person had to recalculate several times the final cost of the ticket. I wrote the final price down.When I went to pay the ticket, it was higher than the final price I was given. Another service person did a good job smoothing things over since the one I dealt with was a lunch. There was no adjustment made even though the mistake wasnt mine.No one likes surprises and I dont know of anyone who jumps up and down with joy about spending money on their car repairs. This was the least pleasant experience that I have had at this dealership.
I had the best experience here..I would recommend anyone going to Ballentine and talking to Shorty, Manny, Craig Williams, or Mark Roberts at Ballentine because Mark and Craig will do their best to help you in any way you can. I love these guys and will always give them 5 stars anytime of the day. I am glad that I went to Ballentine instead of anywhere else because I will visit them from time to time just to see how everybody is doing because to me they are my friends now.

Excellent work. Although it took a day or two longer than originally estimated, the results were well worth the wait. They suggested that one service not be performed because it was not needed (!) - never had that happen at other places. Kept me well informed of what and why while they had the car. I highly recommend this service department. (And when it comes time to get another car, I’ll be buying my 4th from them, too.)
So pleased with how my first car buying experience went. I HIGHLY recommend Steven Lynch. He wasnt pushy and genuinely cared about helping me find the right vehicle for me and what I could afford. Truth be told it was not my intention to purchase a vehicle when i went for my test drive Saturday. I was planning on purchasing a vehicle sometime next month. Tanner Leopard contacted me when i put in my information showing interest in the vehicle. When i arrived he was very friendly and not pushy at all like he was just eager to sell me a car. The entire experience was very smooth. After the test drive we discussed financing options and Craig did a great job in finding me a really good rate. We were interested in a 2018 highlander. We test drove the car, and were buying a a certified toyota used car with a warranty. Upon closing on the highlander, we were told the car has a recall that they cannot fix at this time. This voided the warranty we were offered, and would have to purchase a warranty.The recall that they were refet9 to caused the car to stall, and they dont know why.After we did not purchase the car, they put it back on the lot for sale.How would you like to buy this vehicle with your grand kids strapped in, and get. Tee bonded while toyota knows theres a problem. This car should be crushed if toyota knows theres a problemWe bought a 2012 toyota from the same dealer. I would like to talk to the owner of the dealership to see if he can. reassure my confidence in there products.

Everyone that worked there was very proficient at what they did, and my salesman Steven very knowledgeable of the certain car I was looking for. He also worked with me one on one and really helped me with my situation with the total loss that had occurred with me in my prior car.
