Mountain goat is a lovely coffee, beer, and bike shop. It offers great espresso, regional beer on tap, and an in house bike mechanic. They’ve also recently started making in house waffles and parfaits. The eclectic space is full of character and warmth. They also use the coffee shop to help fund and support a local nonprofit for the youth in the area. All in all a wonderful place to hangout.

Always nice baristas.. they use the same coffee as methodical so if you like them youll like it here. They have a small shop with t shirts mugs and some outdoor type items which is nice to look through while you wait.

The coffee (their own blend from methodical) is great, the beer options never fail me (and they do half pours yay).The atmosphere is great. Sometimes the music is loud for hopping on a zoom call, but i can always move somewhere quieter. There are a variety of sitting/standing options! And on days with nice weather the window-paned garage doors get opened up, so lovely!Great happy hour spot for beer!

First off, the coffee/brewery is pretty cool and the bike shop is an awesome addition. I’m out riding and see the staff guiding a bike trip with some kids and the way they interacted with them was cool to see. The vibe at the brewery is mellow and the people are amazing.

Great find in Sans Souci area of Greenville. Coffee, tea, and waffles on this day. Waffles were outstanding. Highly recommend. Also this is a nonprofit and all proceeds go to helping local children in need with bike repair and hikes and adventure.

Not sure if I really fit in here. I went in my work clothes although I’m a mountain lover myself - nalgene, eno, chacos and all. Was definitely given some looks and mediocre service. Traditional macchiato was decent, but nothing crazy. I guess I wouldn’t go back.

Relaxed open air space (with nice weather). Four draft beers and tons of craft in cans. Highly recommend for a quiet after work pit stop.

I’ve always enjoyed the coffee, beer, and the different food trucks but I just took my bike to get fixed here as well. It was quick and the communication was great. Great spot to hang and every dollar supports the local community.

I love this place. Im a recent transplant to Greenville and I searched for too long before I found it. The atmosphere is low key and super relaxed, the coffee is excellent, and Bailey, who seems to be the only person that works there, is super sweet and gives excellent service whether Im the only person there or they are slammed. Aaaaaaand they take underprivileged kids on adventure trips. Ive found my place.

Had at great time at Mountain Goat’s wine tasting. Staff was very friendly, not a big wine gal so I enjoyed a beer. Met some lovely staff members that told us about trivia night and we’re headed back shortly. Also, LOVE the charitable aspect of the bar. Cheers to making your community better one drink at a time!

Guys! This new shop is awesome. Has a very clean simplistic feel to it. So much natural light with the big garage doors. The people that work hear are super friendly and the coffee is delicious. Had their cortado and it was delightful and so tasty! They use Greenville’s very own Methodical Coffee, which is always a great choice! They have a large selections of canned beers. Several that Mountain Goat has the exclusive on in all of GVL. They have great pastries that come from Upcountry Provisions in Travelers Rest.Oh they also make their own syrups! Like lavender, jasmine honey, mocha and caramel.For none coffee and beer drinkers they have Teas, hot chocolate, LaCroix, and water ;)they are soon opening up a section in the shop that wi be for mountain bike repair and sales. Also they provide free after school tutoring for the kinds in the neighborhood.Go check them out!

Would give 5 stars had 2 things not happened. Outside tables were dirty and at 11am appeared to have not been wiped at all today. My friend accidentally spilled her practically full tea. She got paper towels from the one employee working and cleaned it up herself. Employee stated she would come outside in a few minutes. Over an hour later, nothing. No replacement tea for my friend disappointed me.

Not only do you get a great cup of coffee, you know that the profits are going to a good cause. wonderful people and friendly service.

A great spot for trivia with a very kind staff. Drinks are cheap, the atmosphere is good. Parking can be hard and the seating space gets extremely crowded on trivia nights, but thats the nature of trivia nights.

I came here cause my old man was fiending for an iced coffee. I cannot hype this place up enough. The coffee was fan-friggen-tastic. They also have a good assortment of quality beers (Im not big on alcohol, but it was nice to see they dont get cheap stuff). The blonde fella working the register was extremely patient and polite with my pops who can be very difficult to deal with. I will definitely be a regular here.

Visiting Greenville for the week and Im glad we stopped here. While in line a patron recommended the iced mocha and it was delicious. The staff was very courteous and theres a great atmosphere. I hope we have time for a second visit!

Curbside service was friendly. The latte was good. The chai was tasty, but it was not as spicy as Im used to.

Groovy coed cafe and bike repair shop with good beer and coffee selections.

So far I have had the coffee, beer and ate from the Seoul Republic food truck. All have been very good. At some point I will use their bike services. Definitely will be back.

Wanted to check this place out, seemed like a spot Id go to often. They have coffee and beer and a great space. I was impressed by their tap list, a little bit of everything. But, I got a red eye thinking this was gonna be a pretty good cup of coffee, but it was a step below diner coffee, thin, bitter, and lacking flavor. I could not even tell there had been a espresso shot added to the coffee. Also they charged me $5 for this terrible cup of coffee, which in hindsight I should have balked at.Gave 2 stars because I might go back to drink some beers!

This place is awesome! The coffee is so good and the beer selection is some of the best in Greenville! The staff is really great and helpful. I would definitely recommend going on a nice day - they open up the big garage doors and the vibe is so fun and totally Greenville! 🌟

I wanted to like this place but then I slowly realized something insidious was going on. Good coffee, good beer, bike shop, friendly and a nice refuge on a rainy day. But I started to get creeped out when I realized this is a Christian ministry disguised as a secular hipster spot. The beer and wine sales fooled me at first along with the recycled Grateful Dead/CCR and similar soundtrack that was playing. But then about every tenth song was one I didnt know and soon I realized they were throwing in a just sorta on the edge semi-explicit Christian soft rock song (recognizable to the discerning ear by its vapid subtle lyrics and schmaltzy tune). ]Is this a whole genre of music now? Semi-Christian rock that never actually mentions G and J by name? The whole thing is a dishonest insidious attempt to brain wash customers. If you are going to preach to your customers at least be honest about what you are and let people decide for themselves whether or not they want to patronize your establishment. So Mountain Goat: I call you out! Somebody had to do it.

Mountain Goat is a great, relaxed space for work. Awesome environment with great staff. Nothing pretentious, just chill.
