This place is amazing!! Will was extremely helpful and we didnt feel pressured into purchasing at all. I should start by saying that I live an hour away and found half Moon outfitters looking for a place to rent a Onewheel. We were looking to rent a pint and an XR so we could decide which one we want if we want to buy one. They rent out the boards and subtract the cost of the rental from your Onewheel, if you buy one from them after your rental. We rented both boards for 24 hours, tried them in all sorts of environments, had the time of our life, and chose which board fit us best. I got the pint. My buddy is getting the XR. Do yourself a favor and rent a Onewheel

Have always have had EXCELLENT experiences with Half Moon - both product quality and service at all their stores.I had received a pair of pants from my children for Christmas. Blake made several attempts to secure the size I needed, but unfortunately the manufacturer had run out for the year and would not be restocking until fall. I explained to her that I really liked them and hoped that they would get them back in...she followed up with the rep twice until she received confirmation that she could order for me for upcoming shipment. Called today to confirm. Rarely see this level of dedication or customer service...Blake is a great asset and was awesome! THANK YOU BLAKE!

We stopped in here to burn some time. I hadnt been to this location yet so I was excited to see the new setup. It was wonderfully laid out and everything was easy to both see and get to. They have some items that you really dont see many other places. Also a coffee shop inside too! I picked up some of my favorite field notes here in a pattern, which you cant get anywhere but online. We will definitely be back.

He is always striving to improve the customer experience. This is evidenced by the addition of creature comforts like the coffee bar, barber shop, and brewery all in the same building. This store is dangerous for adventurers because they sell a wide range of products at fair prices and offer great help! I stopped in and ended up looking at boots, so they let me borrow hiking socks for fit. They also offer cute (free!) stickers by the register. You can tell they take pride in what they do.

Great place for outdoor gear. Includes camping, kayaking, hiking etc. Unusually store with a classic car in the window display. Perfect if you need to pick up some things on the way out of Greenville north towards Paris Mountain and the Blue Ridge.

Great staff at the Greenville Location. I called prior to visiting and the sales woman that answered the phone was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. When I went to the store later that day the sales gentleman were again very helpful courteous and the whole experience was stellar! This was my second great experience with this store and their outstanding people!

Received a gift from the local store for Xmas. I have the receipt and went to the store for an exchange. They didnt have what I needed. They will give me store credit or will only refund the credit card it was purchased with. It was a GIFT! I dont have the credit card. I have to get the gifter back involved. What good is store credit when they dont have what I need? The gifter gets the money back when the purchase was for a someone else? I dont understand this return policy. A receipt is not good enough? Very frustrating.So, I have to involve other people, make trips back to the store...I live about 10 miles away, and then ask the gifter for the money when its credited back to their card? What are they thinking?
