Pamela not only helped me on the phone the previous day, but the next day when I walked in I was greeted by her! She helped me match my foundation, the powder, and took her time to make sure it was the correct tone. Even though we went through multiple tones swatches, she made sure to find the perfect one for me, and really you could tell that she cared. I will definitely be back! Thank you Pamela!

I find this location to be inconsistent with customer service (this review is for the one in the mall, no JCPenney). I’ve noticed other reviews with similar experiences: if you go in dressed nicely with makeup on, you’re more likely to receive assistance. If you visit with no make up, dressed in leggings or more casual attire, no one gives you the time of day. I was looking to buy a rather pricey perfume, and the sales associate was hesitant to let me have it. Her questions/negative attitude led me to perceive she didn’t believe I could afford it. I had more shopping to do, but she told me she couldn’t hand me the bottle and had to watch me purchase it - then hold it while I continued to shop further. I ended up leaving the store. It was a very uncomfortable encounter. Other times, I’ve had people watch me like a hawk, but never offer assistance. When I asked for help with a color match for a foundation, their employee acted as though I had inconvenienced her. There’s many additional stories, but I wish they could live up to the customer service at other locations. There are two cashiers who are absolutely incredible, and I wish I had their names. I only come here as a last resort now. I love Sephora, but this location has led me to only buy online only or from Ulta.

I guess casual dress and light makeup equates to being a shoplifter lol. Seriously, dress like that and youll be followed around. Dress up prim and proper and youll be greeted and offered help. Lol, Ulta is better

This is by FAR the best Sephora ever! I walked in the door and a sweet girl, Karen was so helpful in helping me find the perfect foundation shade and even recommended another brand when I was not a huge fan of my own choice. It matched PERFECTLY and she was so professional throughout the whole time and even cracked a few jokes and made it an enjoyable experience. There were two other girls whose names I do not remember but they were very friendly and helpful. It was such an enjoyable experience and I cant wait to come back.

The experience you have here just depends on who is working that day and how you look. If I go in to shop with no makeup on in jeans and t-shirt I get followed around like they think I am stealing but go in makeup and dressed up a little Im treated super nice. Dont be so quick to stereotype your customers, you dont know what is in our wallets. I dont make a habit of shopping here just when I need to get in and out real quick for a couple things and dont have time to drive out to Ulta

The consultants are always very eager to help and give product samples to try out new products or products they think I might like to purchase in the future. They also go above and beyond to color match foundations. Great service and selection.

Took my daughter in to get a color match to her foundation as her Quinceanera is this weekend and she had been in the sun so what she had did not match.The guy working (can not remember his name) was great ! Super friendly and personable. He did her color match, found her foundation, checked us out and we were on our way within ten minutes.

Way better customer service than Ulta, I love all the girls and guys who work here. Theyre so friendly and patient. Maritza does my makeup for photoshoots at times and she is phenomenal. Also, Olga helps my mom a lot with skin care products. They are all so sweet!!

I visit this location several times every month and they have an ok selection. Some of the staff is extremely helpful but occasionally youll have to hunt someone down. For a more beginner beauty user the staff is very helpful but for matching maybe not the greatest. Definitely be assertive in what you do and do not like because they sometimes are a little too complacent.

I went into Sephora to purchase my first expensive foundation and was super nervous about spending top dollar and not knowing my perfect shade. I was helped out by Laura, and she was great! She asked all the right questions and gave me some great tips about my skin - without pushing me to purchase other products. She was not rude, but I loved how forward she was with helping my skin. If i could give negative stars i would. I frequently buy atelier in NYC but was out and went to sephora here A lady was helping me and told me to see if the scent i wanted was in the drawer . Some other associate belligerently acosted me and asked if she could help. i told her i was being helped. she asked again... i replied again and then she closed the drawer on me and followed me to the other side which had gift sets. She completely ignore the lady who was helping me and pulled the box i picked up out of my hands!!! Woah!!! My husband and I could NOT believe it!!! Will buy all products elsewhere! Teach your associates customer service...,for your sake!!!

I gave this store 2 stars because of one employee who ruined it for everyone else. I was walking down the aisle and she didnt even offer to move over one inch. I moved over to the other side of her and she ran into me and kept on walking and didnt even turn around to apologize. She almost caused me to drop my shopping basket. She was very arrogant and unapologetic!! Not a store I want to go back to.

Wow, the online site and customer service is absolutely horrible. There ability to site there terms of use and privacy policy when it is convenient for them is unbelievable. I would never buy anything from Sephora online or even inside the store. They are un-professional and customer service is not efficient or concerned with your needs as a customer.

I always have high hopes that I wont have a bad experience at Sephora, unfortunately those expectations have crashed and burned. While visiting I was treated as if I didnt know what I was looking for or what I was talking about. I wouldnt be offended if the workers makeup was decent. Why be snobby if you chose to work in retail, and help people who are willing to spend their hard earned dollar in your store? Will NOT be returning. The employees can be very judgmental. I always feel as though they are trying to push products on to me or they pay me no attention at all. The only questions I ever ask is the location of something, other than that Ive done my own research to know whats going to work for me. I dont go here for their customer service, I go because its the only sephora not attached to a JCPenny in miles.

I know that I walked in 5 minutes before they closed, but I literally bought my highlighter I lost & a restock of mascara, in & out within a few minutes, & the girl working the floor made a comment that was judgemental & rude af. I understand they close at 9, but damn, 5 minutes isn’t going to kill them, & to make a rude comment as I’m walking out with my purchase, it’ll be a while before I come back. Worst experience ever.

I just moved back to Simpsonville a year and a half ago. Ive been into Ulta 3 times, and every time the associates just walked by as if I were invisible. My first trip to this store, it was just after Christmas, and so crowded I got claustrophobic, and left. Went in today, and within five minutes, Maritsa (I hope I spelled that right) came over, and immediately helped me find an Urban Decay foundation that matched my skin EXACTLY, and an exfoliant Im in love with! Im so happy I decided to try Sephora again! Even the cashier was a sweetheart. Ill definitely be back!

This is the absolute worst Sephora I’ve ever been to. Actually, it’s the only bad Sephora I’ve been to...and it was really bad. Usually, the sales people are professional. Was there with my daughter and the salespeople were so irritating we had to leave. Most of them were rude, and some others were just seriously annoying. We went to the mall just to go to Sephora and have time together browsing all the makeup which we (usually) enjoy doing, but we most certainly did not enjoy it today! Will not ever return! They really need to get it together over there!!

This location stinks. We went to buy a new foundation for my daughter and needed it to be matched to her skin and we were told it would be a 15-20 minute wait. Three different brand foundations she wanted were out of stock. We left with nothing. Very poorly run, terrible lighting in there to do proper make up and just sick of this poorly run location. I love that sephora carries quality products (Skin care, hair, makeup, fragrances, & everything in between) & its very convenient having one right down the road if I need to make an exchange or return, etc.Employees vary. Some really have no stinking clue what theyre talking about/recommending & some actually know what theyre talking about. (Hence their makeup skills. Ive learned to not trust the ones with blocky eyebrows or gallons of makeup... because I forsure dont want to walk out looking like THAT. lol Anyway...)On that spectrum, you never know if youre going to be treated kindly or treated like youre some thief. So its very inconsistent at this location.

So i went to sephora today because i got a present worth $160 i didnt like and i didnt have a recipt so i tried using my drivers license and it was denied i then called the number on the receipt and they told me bc i have tried to exchange today i couldnt use my drivers license again in 365! But my return was denied? They said but bc i tried it counts as if it was? Like wth! So how would i ever know? They make no sense! Most definitely will not be shopping at sephora period!

I went into this store yesterday and I found all of the employees to be rude and down right snobbish and I will Never purchase products through the Haywood Mall shop in Greenville SC ..These ladies are trying to earn a living by selling the Sephora beauty merchandise which is sad because I can guarantee that they way I was treated by the hired help yesterday Sephora would not want them as their employees or branch worker which ever they would like to be referred ..So I left this shop and went back to my all time favorite make-up chain which happens to ne Merle Norman a place that I have been shopping at for over 20 yrs.I am happy to say that I was greeted with a warm welcome even though they were slammed with customers they still took the time to greet me and make me feel welcome instead of looking at me like I was not wanted as a future customer.I have one thing to say for ALL of the Sephora sales ladies that work in the Haywood Mall and that is GROW-UP and not to always judge a potential customer on how expensive their clothing or appearance might be because even though I was dressed casually and was not wearing the most expensive brand of clothing had nothing to do with how much money that you could have earned off of a sale from me..Think ladies and remember that your not to always judge a book by its cover and if you do that then your future earnings will triple in sales..Sheesh!

My friend and I went in here today and got followed around the store by one employee. Another girl walked up and asked if we were finding everything okay and once we told her we were just looking she proceeded to stand there and stare at us. We were looking to buy some new makeup but we were so uncomfortable that we just wanted to leave. I have never had such an experience and I don’t think I’ll be going back anytime soon.
