The young man that was working this morning was totally rude.He was he was using phone and just had a very nasty attitude.I have never been treated like this at location.If someone teach this young man customer service etiquette it would be most helpful to the public.

The WORST customer service Ive ever experienced in all of my 33 years of life. Tried to talk a friend out of spending her money w these people because of this. My friend did not listen and ended up walking out due to the rude treatment she received. I used to spend a lot of money w this store and also sent a LOT of my clients but I took our business to Diva where they dont mistreat their customers and try their best to take care of their needs. Boom boom cant even squeeze a penny out of me. And its NOT the Laurens Rd location, its the boy at the other store. HORRIBLE

Theyre disappointed advertised on the radio that they had a big sale get in there they have two boxes buy one get one free and claimed that the rest were gone then get on the shelf and there are plenty of crochets at regular price drove over an hour to get here

My wife loves to shop here for her wigs and other hair related needs. The shop is owned by a very nice lady of Asian ancestry (Im fairly sure that shes Korean, but Im not certain) and, unlike many shops owned by Asians that weve visited as a black couple, they do not attempt to low-key follow you around or make you feel like a criminal.The store is a lot bigger than it first appears to be on the outside and has a wide selection of wigs ranging from around $40 to hundreds of dollars. The sales floor can be a bit messy at times when excess stock is present or when the workers are filling stock, but the aisles are typically wide enough to bypass most obstacles of this type.

This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with a retail store. I purchased hair extensions for my daughter by recommendation of the owner. I showed her a picture and color of her hair and she assured me it would be perfect. I paid $137 for the hair. NEVER did she tell me if the hair didn’t match that I could not exchange it. I took hair out of packaging to see it and hold up to my daughters hair. It was not even close and could not be used. I put hair back in packaging and tried to exchange the next morning. Not even 18hr later and I was told that I could not exchange it because i had taken it out of packaging. I did not request a refund, I merely wanted to exchange. Owner was rude and unwilling to make any accommodations. Very dissatisfied and appalled at the customer service. I had the receipt and unused product that was purchased literally the evening prior. Please do not shop at this store. I have never written a comment or review for anything I have ever purchased but this experience was so horrible that I felt obligated to share. PLEASE DO NOT shop this store!!

Girl friend get a bigger store and get the product off the floor so people wont trip over it. Create a section for the makeup you carry. Better displays. You have the customer base...its just needs to be reorganize! I always find what Im looking for. You just need more floor space and reorganize the store.

Its nice and neat, everything is easy to find. They have a great selection of bundles, wigs, human and synthetic, lace fronts, braid in hair, crochet, You name it. And I love, that there room to try on wigs is in a private area, in the back.

Poor Customer Service- Zero policy about exchange of damaged items. I purchased a glass bottle of Black Castor Oil for my hair. I dropped the bag and the glass broke into mini pieces. I was very hopeful that they would damage out the bottle; politely exchange the $12.00 small bottle of oil that I normally pay $7.00 for in Georgia. These foreign people come into our community and treat us with zero respect and happily take our money. The witch that I spoke to refused to exchange the bottle and showed a very superior attitude. Very disappointed. I guess they get enough repeat customers that they dont care about losing one customer.Its not so much about not getting my money back or not having the ability to exchange the item. It was the behavior of the Asian, Vietnamese womans facial expression and her body language... we lose money its your fault.I will never shop at this store again. My choice!!I travelled to another store to repurchase the oil and the African American young lady sold me the same item and nicely wrapped the glass bottle in bubble wrap. I was very appreciative.

This place is cluttered and one thing I dont like is that they dont have wigs in the packs you can buy. So you have to buy it off the display. When asked about it the lady was friendly and said her wigs are all clean. Think about how many people try on display wigs, even with the wig caps they are still touching and pulling on the hair. To me the wigs are overly priced to be buying off display. Service was friendly but I still like beauty and beauty on haywood rd.

This place could be a little more roomy.. Feel a little over-whelmed when shopping..Appear to have everything you need for beauty, including a large inventory of wigs.. You can only wear one wig cap per every two to three wigs you try on and you have to purchase these which usually run around $.50 cent to $1 to $1.50 per pack, which has two in it. Service is fair but could be better.. No public restrooms.. Parking in front is very limited with some assessible parking. More parking in back and appears to be one or two assessible parking in front. Not sure if there was a wheelchair ramp..

This has got the be the worst wig shop I have ever seen along with the worse experience I have ever had. To start, today was my first time shopping at this store so I didnt know much when it came to their policy about trying on the wigs so of course I asked for assistance, my first mistake. I spoke with an older woman behind the counter, who had a very nasty, rushing me kind of attitude like she didnt want to be bothered. So, I didnt let that stop me I got a cap and two wigs. Tired them both of with no assistance whatsoever. Then another employee walks by and I stopped her and said, Can I get this wig? She responds, Sure, take the manikin to the counter and she handle it from there. At this point, I was like okay, Ive never seen a hair store where I take the manikin head to a checkout counter. So I just go with the flow and did what she said. I get to the counter Im next in line so I walk to the register and turn my head for a second and turned back around and the lady takes the wig off the manikin and puts the wig in a bag. Whoa ! Hold up. You know how many people try on wigs daily and you telling me Im going to spend $75 dollars on a fingered ran thru crusty wig? Thats the most disgusting thing I have ever seen. Everybody dont wash they hands and everybody dont wash they scalp good. A lot of ppl try those things on daily before they get sold and you sell them off the manikin? Thats just trifling. Manikin wigs should be for looks, samples, and exploration not for sell. Stores dont sell samples, they give you what you paid for, a brand new one out for box, but not this store. But I can say the two younger ladies were very sweet. But this store will never see me again. I wish I could give zero stars. Terrible store, dont waste your time.

Very nice building and the inside is a lot bigger than I expected. However, there was only one person working in this huge store. A lot of products are old and out of date. I recently bought a braided wig cap from this location and it ripped immediately after installing a little hair. I also purchased some pre looped crochet hair and for those who know what the pre looped hair is, the rubber ties just fell off of the hair every single time I tried to install the hair. Whats the point of pre looped hair without the loop. Inside the store, there are so many products and no room to store them. Braiding hair was all over the floors. I think Ill continue going to By Essence in Greer, SC.

I had the most amazing experience - Im sad I didnt catch the girls name but I got so much help from her made the entire thing so great.

Staff unfriendly. This is the 2nd time visiting in a week, the first time I visited I requested help from a worker standing behind the counter, there were no customers at the counter, she said, ok, give me a minute, then I heard her ask a customer if they were ready to check out, they didnt at that time. I walked around looking at items, observed her walking around helping others, until she walked down the aisle I was in,she was with a customer, she turned as if to leave, I said wow, I feel abandoned, she asked what I needed, I informed her, she said give me a few. I was in the store for 45 mins, as I was leaving, I heard her tell a woman(maybe the owner) that I needed help, I said it was ok, I had been there too long, the worker stated well we busy, I simply stated, I understand then left, I understood that they didnt need my money. I went to their other store next to harbor freight yesterday, the staff there were very nice, but rushed us out, stated they were closing early per owner, that the main store would be open at 1000 today, went to the main store yet again today, arrived at 1735, the owner came out and rudely stated we closed at 1530, we already late, there were no signs, except the flashing open sign, no one stating holiday hours. Never will I go to either of these stores(boom boom) again, will not refer anyone either. Sorry for the lengthy post.

Do your homework people. Secondly the lil rude light skin girl needs to watch her mouth & keep her opinions to herself.
