Glass doctor came out to replace window balances in 6 of my windows that came up on a home inspection when we were purchasing our home along with a window glass that was accidentally broke by a contractor. This was approximately 4 months ago. Fast forward to August as the window fogs up I notice a circle etching in the glass thinking it’s just dirty on outside I clean it and it doesn’t come off. Then Now that we are settled in home I start opening windows to clean them and the window balances that they installed to fix the issue are not working, they pop out when you open the window. I call them and they send a tech out says not to worry they warranty the work and believes what we need is a different window balance. Ok great! Well then I get another quote for $391 which says that the technician believes that the window balances that are needed are not the same as previously installed. They are replacing the glass for no cost . I called the office and spoke to John because I don’t understand why if I paid to have you install window balances and the labor to do so in the same windows why would I have to pay again for different ones that the tech believes will work. They should have been ordered correctly the first time I paid. Then he says that It’s probably that the vinyl windows need to be replaced in my 10 year old home and he would be happy to give me a quote to install all new windows. After arguing for 20 minutes I gave up as John wasn’t understanding my frustration with his decision. They are sending a tech out to look but bottom line is without shelling out another $390 for window balances that will work just several months after I paid them to repair the same thing nothing will be done.

The kids broke a bedroom window with a ball. I called and was able to get an estimate fairly quickly and easily. Glass came in a few weeks later and replacement only took around 15 minutes. Easy. Highly recommend.

Glass Doctor replaced the fogged glass in our windows without the expense of having to replace all the frames. Their prices were reasonable, they responded promptly, and were very happy with our clear new glass.

They came on time, installed exact matching window panes, cleaned everything up in about 2 and a half hours. What more could you ask for, well maybe a good price and we also got that.

I was very impressed with Glass Doctor. I was able to get an appointment the very next day. Everyone I dealt with was super friendly...from Laura who scheduled the appointment, to Larry who came out and did the replacement. My windshield looks great. I would definitely use them again. In fact, my dad was at my house during the installation and is going to give them a call to replace a cracked windshield in his car. Definitely recommend!

Outstanding service and communication!

Ordered my window and got told the wait was gonna be 3 weeks turns out to be almost 2 months!! Once the window finally came in they ordered the wrong color. Called to get my money refunded and they refused not even offered a discount after all the troubles. Tried to call up there multiple times to tell them that we’ll just take the wrong color window never got a answer from John.

After all the glowing reviews of this company I had high hopes of a great experience as well. I had a consultation set up for last Friday between 8 and noon so was up at 7am ready and waiting. Noon rolled around and still no one, no call, no text. I called Glass Doctor and asked if something happened, but I had received a text the previous day confirming my appointment and stating that my service person would call when they were 20-30 minutes out. Once I called and spoke to someone (she was very nice) I found out the service person was an hour away and had been held up at his previous appointment. That is totally okay, but whats not okay is that I wasnt made aware of this. A great rule I was taught is this, people dont mind waiting, they mind not knowing how LONG they will be waiting. Its disrespectful of other peoples time to fall short on this simple step. A call, a text anything would have been better than sitting around when I could have been hiking, running errands, any number of things. The tech arrived closer to 1:30, no mask (I thought most companies were taking appropriate COVID precautions and I think its respectful to at least make the small effort of wearing it to the door and letting the home owner decide what their comfort level is), and took the measurements requested. He was very nice as well and because it was late in the day on a Friday and he had additional appointments that day he let me know that the estimate should be in my email on Monday. Well, Im writing this on Tuesday late morning and I still have no estimate. Do with this information what you will. Im hoping Glass Doctor will take this as information they can use to better their practices. I will most likely be getting a quote from other glass replacement businesses and making my decision from there.

I was so happy to find that glass portions of three windows could be replaced rather than the whole windows. The receptionist I spoke to could not have been nicer and more fun. The efficient, personable professional who measured and installed—Dennis—did such a good job I asked if he owned the company. No, but he was a long time employee, and knew what he was doing. I would strongly recommend this company.

The tech that came out to look over my windows was very knowledgeable. He didn’t try to sale me more than I needed and he gave me a quote from the home office in a matter of minutes.The windows came in quickly and they scheduled the installation promptly. The seal on our large double-paned window had gone bad and we had issues with condensation between the panes. Glass doctor came to the house and gave an estimate which was a fair price. The installation of a new pane and resealing was quick and easy. The technicians arrived on time, were professional, and took care around our furniture. The window looks good as new.

The glass quality is good. The installation technician was good. It took six weeks from the time I placed the order to the time it was installed. That was too long in my opinion.

The team did a great job from the initial quote to the installation! We had 40 double glass windows replaced in our home instead of having someone charge us 4 times the cost to have the entire window replaced. We had 6 different replacement window companies quote from $43k to $18k. Glass doctor was able to do it at a fraction of the cost! This is the best kept secret around and I highly recommend them!!

We had a cracked window That needed repair and out of all the places we had called, they were the most accommodating . Had a measurement, quote and order put in the next day. When the order was in, we were able to get an install next business day. Everything turned out great and I highly recommend them.

Had a glass shower door installed. The guys were very pleasant and did a great job. They had to come back out to do some final tuning of the track rollers, but were just as pleasant as the first time and were in and out in a few minutes.

Laura is the crowned queen of glass. This lady helped me all the through the process of replacing my windshield on my 83 Mercedes. The shop did a fantastic job. The glass was not some cheap glass. I found Glass Doctor on a google search. I only needed glass put back in a broken window. Its very hard to find someone that has this type of service. Most businesses want to replace the entire window. They came out looked at the window which I had already taken out and gave me a price. They took the window back in and replaced the glass quicker than promised and what I expected. They explained on the house call to save money I could have took the window to their business since I had already taken it out to save money and time. They also said if I picked the window up it would save even more. When they called to let us know the window was ready I picked it up and they carried the window to my truck. They also have full service where they take out, repair and replace the window if needed. I recommend Glass Doctor and will use them again for any future glass repairs.

I needed a pane replaced in the living room of a tenants apartment. Glass Doctor came the next morning to measure and ordered the replacement. The new window arrived and I was notified to set up an appointment, and the technician was on the property the very next morning. He had the new window pane installed inside of 15 minutes. I got a quote from a well known window company for $6,000 that was going to replace a leaking glass panel in a door and a leaking glass panel in a window with a sliding door. They would not just replace the leaking glass. I called Glass Doctor who came quickly and gave me a $900 quote to replace the leaking glass. The technician arrived on time and completed the job in less time than estimated. I am very pleased and would recommend Glass Doctor with 5 stars.

Very professional on the phone and in person. Quick to fix a kitchen window where the seal had broken. The only issue I had was after the first visit and inspection for work needed, I called with the job #. The lady stated they needed 1/2 up front which was okay. That was on a Friday, and I gave my credit card# to charge. Only used for household repairs and had not been used in 6 months. Over the following Saturday and Sunday, BOA called me and texted me due to my card trying to be used at WALMART.COM. Fortunately they knew something was up and declined all charges. Then called to ask if it was me. My card was restricted and I was issued a new card. Glass doctor was the only place it had been used in 6 months, and when I tried to reach a manger I was not able to speak to anyone. Very concerned that an employee would do that to a customer and I am sure not someone they need on staff.

Took a little while to get the replacement window in stock but they were quick and to the point about the installation. Their customer service reps are professional and nice and act like they really want to help you.

My experience was extremely positive. Very easy process. Salesman came out, took measurements, and gave me a quote right then and there. About a week and a half later, two installers came out and replaced my three ugly windows I couldn’t see through, with beautiful windows that look fantastic. Installers were professional and friendly. In my case, everything went perfectly.

I had a broken pane in a 1950s sliding window. I called Glass Doctor. They gave me an over the phone ballpark estimate for replacement. They said theyd send a technician to measure and give me a firm price. I asked them to have him come prepared to do the work. Guess what? He came ON TIME, estimate was lower than previously given (window smaller than I had stated to them), and he did a fast and neat job. He cleaned any caulking and glass and took my credit card. Will I use them again? ABSOLUTELY!! Threat job, great young man! (Im 30 miles form GVL, too)!

On a 950-mile, two-day interstate trip, a huge rock came off a flatbed ahead of us and put a dinner-plate-sized spiderweb crack right in the center of our windshield. Driving to our final destination like that wasnt an option. We called more than ten other glass-repair places in the larger cities coming up on our route and no one could do the work within 24 hours. Some even said it would take a week to fit us in. Even the car dealerships were no help because they didnt stock glass.The Glass Doctor of Greenville, SC was the ONLY shop that immediately said they could get the glass and fix it when we rolled in, and gave us a firm time. We rolled in on time, they met us and started pulling out the broken windshield right away, and the new windshield arrived as the work was in progress. All very smooth and at a great price. Our only wait time was for the cement to cure enough to drive safely, and we were on our way having lost only two hours total.Without this shop, we would have lost at least 24 hours and probably the cost of a hotel room. They kept us on track and saved our trip and our budget.Fantastic service!! I highly recommend them.

These guys are great! I called 10am Sunday morning as someone broke into my business through the front door. Of course thats stressful enough but they were able to come out within about 30 minutes to start the repair.

The company did an outstanding job for me and my wife. An upstairs window blew completely out during a wind storm. It had not been secured. They came out the next day and in a few days had my new window. Jason took down the plywood I had put up to cover the hole - put the window in and secured it. He even secured the other window that wasn’t secured. He gave us “first class” service and we appreciated it.
