My wife and I visited this store and it was not a good experience. We had our small dog with us, so I walked in to ask if it would be ok to bring our dog in if we held him. She would not let me ask a question. She grabbed a mask and asked me to wear it. I told her that I only wanted to ask a question. She asked me again to put on the mask due to her respiratory problems, so I did. She agreed to let our dog come in with us, so I went out and got my wife. My wife put on a mask we had (we wear them). We went into the store and commented that she had some nice and unique items. She informed us that for one day only she was reducing prices. She ncontinually pulled her mask down to talk. We asked about a sofa and she asked my wife how serious we were about making a purchase. We told her we were in the market for something if we found the right thing. She gave us a price and we told her we would need to think about it. She told us that the price was only good for the day. We asked what time she was closing and she said she might leave early. She suggested that we put down a deposit to hold the price. I told her we would think about it. She told me that since we didn’t make a purchase I would be required to pay $1.50 for the paper mask she forced me to take. I told her she should have told me that or told me to leave and get a mask. She said there was a sign at the door. I told her there were lots of signs at the door, I was only coming in to ask a question.I gave here the $1.50 and told her that I was put out with the way she handled things. She became irate and asked if I was upset with her having a respiratory problem. I said no, I was upset with paying for a mask that I didn’t ask for. She became more irate and tried to give my wife the money back. I said no keep it.We left and won’t be back!
WORST EXPERIENCE IMAGINABLE. My first trip to this store was strange...I called and spoke to a woman who said to come by and when i got there the door was locked and no one was there despite having just spoken to her and being told to come. So the following day I stopped by and same....locked no one there. I later called and asked if the store would be open and the woman said she could meet me there in 20 minutes. She called me after 15 minutes asking where I was, annoyed, as if we had an appointment. I was down the street at the bank and said I would come as soon as I was done at the bank.I was not able to get there within 5 minutes so she started calling me asking where I was and i told her it was taking longer than expected and if she needed to leave that was fine. Then I received numerous mean, accusatory, and honestly crazy text messages from her (see photos for texts)
I found some really great treasures with fantastic help from the lady there. Looking forward to what she might have next time Im in town!!
